SM OU Fini-Gross Sweep, Ditto Counter Sweep

Marowak-Alola @ Leftovers
Ability: Lightning Rod
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Swords Dance
- Shadow Bone
- Flare Blitz
- Earthquake

I decided to use Marowak-Alola because of his Fire typing and his ability Lightning Rod, and for a few specific reasons as well: 1) He is one of my wall breakers, and with the bulky set paired with the leech seed from Celesteela he is much for durable while doing so. 2) He forces many switch outs such as setup M-Scizor and Celesteela. 3) He also helps against the fire weakness I have with dual steel typing, as well as adding electric immunity.

Celesteela @ Leftovers
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Leech Seed
- Flamethrower
- Protect
- Toxic

Celesteela is my main wall and go to for stalling out opposing teams. While my team is bulky/stally naturally, I really like the added toxic damage as well the recovery he adds with leech seed. 1) Leech Seed adds to the recovery that many of my mons already have. 2) Flamethrower is for steel type threats specifically opposing Celesteela. 3) Protect is for scouting and added stall. 4) Toxic is for chip damage, breaking sturdy/sash. 4) The flying typing adds ground immunity that my team would otherwise be extremely weak to.

Tapu Fini @ Leftovers
Ability: Misty Surge
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Moonblast
- Defog
- Surf

Tapu Fini is my main setup special attacker, and my way of removing hazards. He is very bulky and able to return hits. 1) Calm Mind allows me to setup and better handle other tapus as well as various other threats. 2) Moonblast and surf are his STAB attacks, I chose surf over scald because I felt it was counter productive to Misty Surge, and over hydro pump because of the accuracy and amount of PP. 3) Defog allows me to remove hazards which is very important due to the amount of switching this team does.

Carbink @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Stealth Rock
- Calm Mind
- Moonblast
- Rest

Carbink is my team's main lead and support, as well as my hazard setter. 1)Sturdy insures that my rocks get setup turn one and if not broken allows for momentum and faughter later in the game. 2) Setting up rocks is very important for this team because it allows me to have momentum control, especially with the amount of switching this team does. 3) Calm Mind allows me to be very cheeky in the beginning. It scares out opposing setup leads and if allowed to get up more than 1 does serious damage.

Ditto @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Imposter
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
- Transform

I chose Ditto because I was having problems with setup mons and Volt-Turn teams. 1) Ditto's ability of imposter allows me to copy the pokemon and it's stats turn one, and the choice scarf ensures it goes first. 1) As the title suggests Ditto is a big part of this team, he is my reverse sweeper. If you catch an opportunity to switch him in on a setup mon (Mostly given by carbink.) He can kill that mon and whatever comes in after as well. Especially since most threats in gen 7 carry coverage for themselves.

Metagross-Mega @ Metagrossite
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Zen Headbutt
- Bullet Punch
- Hammer Arm
- Meteor Mash

metagross-mega.gif

Metagross is my main offence on this team. I chose metagross because my team is very notably slow without him, as well as lacking opportunity to hit hard without setup. 1) I chose him because of this speed and natural hard hitting ability. 2) I also needed a Mega on this team and metagross' type weakness were already well covered with this team. 3) Clear Body ensures that he is able to come in without getting things like intimidate drop. 4) Zen Headbutt and Meteor Mash are his main STAB moves as well as being able to flinch and raise attack respectably. 5) Bullet Punch for priority for quick kills and advantages/chip damage on mons that would normally finish him off.

Disclaimer: This is the first team I've ever posted here. While I did read the rules and didn't notice anything that I may have done wrong, if you do, please let me know. Please leave opinions and/or suggestions below

Marowak:
I don't see why you are running Leftovers with Flare Blitz, you really should choose one or the other:

Flare Blitz + Thick Club

or
Fire Punch + Leftovers

This way, you are more focused towards either recovery or raw power. Running lefties with a huge recoil move seems counter-productive imo.

Celesteela:
For Celesteela, you really need to run Heavy Slam. It is by far its best offensive move, and I would suggest Heavy Slam > Toxic and in my opinion Substitute > Protect, but the second one is just my opinion.

Ok.... for the rest of the mons, I really have no idea what is going on here. Why is Tapu Fini max defense, and that's not necessarily bad, but then your Celesteela really should be a spdef variant. Also, you said it was your main set up sweeper? With Calm Mind and no SpAtk investment? How?

Also, your Carbink set is just... it's bad, I'm sorry. First of all, you're running a mon whose job is to set up rocks and basically die, and you have a defogger which literally undoes its whole job. Also you said that Calm Mind scares opponents at the beginning of the game but most leads are ground types which will just outspeed you and 2HKO, and coming off of base 50 Special Attack, Carbink literally hits like a wet noodle. It is complete set up fodder to offensive Mega Scizor and it can just KO your Marowak after a few Swords Dances with Brutal Swing or Knock Off. To be honest, scrap Carbink. It is a terrible mon. And I just realized you're running max special attack on a pokemon with 50 Special attack... WHY?

Ditto is, well, just weird. I don't have much to say about it other than the fact that I think it's pretty bad.

For Mega Metagross, I suggest Earthquake > Hammer Arm. You already beat Ferrothorn and Excadrill so those aren't really a threat.
