First attempt at a team, sandstorm

Incredibily new to competitive battling and this is a first attempt at putting together a team, which I already know is terrible because well, first attempt.
I play against people locally, very seldom will I venture into WiFi battles. That said, our "rules" if you can call it that which we play with is basically no legendaries. Not no Ubers.

---------
Hippowdon
@Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
Nature: Impish
252HP, 168Def, 88SpD
Earthquake
Stealth Rock
Slack Off
Roar

Hippowdon is my lead, I bring him out to get a Sandstorm rolling and setup Stealth Rock. I also bring him in using Roar and Slacking Off when needed to spread Toxic Poison once I get Toxic Spikes down.

Gliscor
@Life Orb
Ability: Sand Veil
Nature: Jolly
252Atk, 4Def, 252Speed
Swords Dance
Earthquake
Ice Fang
Stone Edge

A new addition to my "team", one of which I haven't used before. Generally i'd be trying to bring him in to setup a Swords Dance and sweep? I decided to take Ice Fang for my final slot so I have something with which to combat those pesky Dragons.

Forretress
@Shed Shell
Ability: Sturdy
Nature: Relaxed
252HP, 112Atk, 144Def
Rapid Spin
Spikes
Gyro Ball
Toxic Spikes

I find it quite easy to get a chance with which to bring Forretress in and setup entry hazards and remove them as well, but that's pretty much it. He hasn't granted me much more than that. Recently dropped Explosion on his moveset so I could go for double spikes and be able to fire off STAB Gyro Balls.

Blissey
@Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
Nature: Calm
24HP, 252Def, 232SpD
Flamethrower
Toxic
Softboiled
Protect

The big blob is my only team member hurt by sandstorm, but she doesn't seem to mind. My reliable special wall. Gengars are all too popular with the crowd I play with, and she does a great job at stopping them. Usually setups up Toxic on targets and stalls while alternating Protects and Softboileds, throwing in Flamethrowers if i'm not threated too bad. I mostly took Flamethrower over Seismic Toss so I can hit Gengars.

Scizor
@Lum Berry
Ability: Technician
Nature: Adamant
248HP, 88Atk, 172Spe
Bullet Punch
Roost
Baton Pass
Swords Dance

Also my answer to the popular Gengar users that I play with, 2 Bullet Punches to drop them, and most of the people using Gengars run with Hypnosis / Dream Eater, which is why I use Lum Berry to insure a kill if they try to sleep me. As bulky as Scizor is, I simply love bring this guy into moves he can just shrug off and setup on. My main goal is to get a Swords Dance or two off and Baton Pass out if needed, though it's not uncommon that he says in and sweeps the end of my opponent's team

Rhyperior
@Leftovers
Ability: Solid Rock
Nature: Adamant
132HP, 192Atk, 16SpD, 168Speed
Substitute
Stone Edge
Swords Dance
Earthquake

Usually switches in on unSTAB'd special attacks and just generally anything with weak damage output so I can setup Subs and Swords Dances. I could see him being more effective than is now with a TrickRoom, though >.>

------------
So now that you've gouged your eyes out and wondered what i'm smoking... I know I need AT LEAST one Special Attacker, and i'm pretty much willing to drop almost any Pokemon on the team for upgrades. Though i'm pretty dead-set on keeping Hippowdon and Rhyperior.
I'm already really wanting to bring in an Empoleon and Tyranitar, I just don't know where.

I know the team listed as is won't do me much good, it's basically a shell of an idea that i'm going for.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. <3

If you want to fit Tyranitar and have a special attacker, go with the MixTar set.
248.png
@ Expert Belt
Nature: Naive
Spread: 48 Attack / 252 Sp. Attack / 208 Speed
~ Flamethrower
~ Ice Beam
~ Dark Pulse / Crunch / Thunderbolt
~ Superpower

Copied straight from the Smogon analysis. I would suggest dropping Gliscor as it isn't doing much for you right now. T-Tar also gives you another Sandstorm User. This set takes advantage of T-Tar's respectable 95 base Special Attack to eliminate its counters namely Scizor and bulky Ground-types. Superpower is so that you won't get walled by Blissey and might OHKO the Bold Versions when factoring Stealth Rock and Sandstorm damage. The Calm versions are KO'ed by Superpower + Sandstorm.
