First Competitive OU Team

Hello all; first time poster, long time player.
Just a few questions about the team I'm using for Shoddy (which is how I discovered Smogon)

More or less a team focused on sweeping:

Porygon-Z @ Wise Glasses
Modest
Adaptability
6 HP/252 Sp Atk/252 Spd
-Nasty Plot
-Tri-Attack
-Thunderbolt
-Ice Beam

Basic set up and sweep with Z, he hits well enough but pretty frail

Scizor @ Life Orb
Adamant
Technician
6 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
-Swords Dance
-Bullet Punch
-X-Scissor
-Night Slash

Fairly generic scizor set up, night slash is for rotom
wondering if I should drop Speed for HP since I'm relying on Bullet Punch

Tyranitar @ Expert Belt
Adamant
Sand Stream
68 HP/252 Atk/190 Spd
-Crunch
-Stone Edge
-Eathquake
-Thunder Fang

Thunder fang is to catch people off guard...otherwise its fairly straight forward

Jolteon @ Peteya Berry
Timid
Volt Absorb
6 HP/252 Sp Atk/252 Spd
-Thunderbolt
-Charge Beam
-Shadow Ball
-Hidden Power (grass)

Im not sure if I want to keep him on board, but he always ends being somewhat useful against scizor/rotom/etc.

Starmie @ Choice Specs
Modest
Natural Cure
6 HP/252 Sp Atk/252 Spd
-Surf
-Psychic
-Thunderbolt
-Ice Beam

Standard specs sweeper

Lucario @ Salac Berry
Adamant
Inner Focus
-Crunch
-Reversal
-Swords Dance
-Endure

Occasionally the ace up my sleeve, but salac doesn't always do enough speed boost against threats like flinch hax Jirachi, maybe switch to Jolly nature?

So any advice, comments, suggestions, etc. will be appreciated.
Thank you.

Please read the RMT rules, especially rule #3.

Rule 3 said:
3. Have some actual words in your post beyond your six Pokemon and their moves. Not following this makes your post quite boring to read and rate. All Pokemon should have a good reason for being in your team anyway, so why not post that reason? If you are having trouble with this one, start by giving an explanation for each team member. Why are they there? What role do they serve? How do you get them in? Then, give an explanation of how you would open with the team and how you would go about using it. All of these things help people rate your team and allow us to offer more helpful advice.

This does not mean add one sentence saying "Standard x" or "all-around awesome" after each Pokemon. If you put thought into making the team, you can put thought into posting it.

You need to improve on your descriptions. Have a look at some of the teams in the RMT archive to see what is expected. Try and stay away from 1-2 line descriptions; aim for at least 3-4 lines. Explain why you chose a Pokemon, what it does, how does it contribute to the success of the team, etc. If you fix the descriptions properly, PM me the changes and I'll unlock your thread.
