First Competitive Team

I've been using this team for a while, but I feel like it could be a little LOT better. I'm aware that there may be better moves to use on some pokemon like Conkeldurr, but this is supposed to be a team that I can also get in my pokemon x game.

Conkeldurr @ Assault Vest
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Drain Punch
- Mach Punch
- Earthquake
- Poison Jab
A personal favorite that has been doing quite well. One of my more reliable pokemon that can switch into most threats with ease. I've been thinking about replacing him with no guard machamp, but Conkeldurr seems to have the better synergy with my team.

Dragonite @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
Adamant Nature
- Roost
- Agility
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
My main sweeper, sometimes it can rip teams in half while other times it is totally useless. Really, is only useful when I predict a super effective move and use agility, almost every other time it dies.

Azumarill @ Choice Band
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Aqua Jet
- Play Rough
- Superpower
- Waterfall
This is amazing at times, but can fall short. I've thought about a belly drum set, but I doubt it could pull it off very well do to its abysmal speed stat. Would a Crawdaunt or another pokemon do better at this position?

Porygon2 @ Eviolite
Ability: Trace
EVs: 252 HP / 176 SDef / 80 Def
Bold Nature
- Tri Attack
- Ice Beam
- Recover
- Thunder Wave
My wall. This thing tanks hits for days and then hits back hard with tri attack. I'm not sure whether a Cresselia would be better though, since it has a higher base hp and can make use of an item.

Smeargle @ Focus Sash
Ability: Own Tempo
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Spd / 4 SDef
Timid Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Spore
- Stealth Rock
- Sticky Web
My hazard setter. Not bad, but not amazing either. However, very susceptible to taunt. I've tried ferrothorn here, but many people carry a counter to it specifically. Not much to say about this thing.

Charizard @ Charizardite Y
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
Timid Nature
- Flamethrower
- Roost
- Air Slash
- Solar Beam
The secondary sweeper. Works well with Dragonite most of the time, but that quad resistance to stealth rock really limits its ability. I think a different pokemon may be needed here, due to this thing being to frail. Tell me what you think.

Here's the importable:
Conkeldurr @ Assault Vest
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Drain Punch

- Earthquake
- Poison Jab

Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Roost
- Agility
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake

Azumarill @ Choice Band

EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Aqua Jet
- Play Rough
- Superpower
- Waterfall

I would trade Smeargle for something with a little more longevity, especially if use it as a suicide lead. And if it goes down you have no way of dealing with stealth rock wich really hinders CHarizard Y and Dragonite. I run a similar team with Charizard using a Excadrill as my spinner/stealth rock setter. Smeargle is a taunt magnet... and there are too many prankster leads in OU right now that will taunt 1st turn then burn/t-wave/toxic him or whoever switches in for him.

Excadrill @ Air Balloon
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 176 HP / 60 Atk / 252 SpD / 20 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Rapid Spin
- Iron Head
- Earthquake

You could also invest in a more Defensive EV spread and put an assault vest on Excadrill I have been playing around with both but since you use conkle I would suggest running air baloon which gives him a free switch in if u can predict an earthquake. It works great for me because a lot of people expect a more offensive set and even if it gets taunted / magic bounced not many things want to switch into a stab earthquake that will hit flying types and levitate users which is why you want mold breaker.

-Conkledurr set is good, although Knock Off may be a better replacement for Earthquake. Fighting/Dark/Poison hits everything not named Toxicroak neutrally, while Ground/Fighting/Poison will have a much tougher time with Landorus, Gliscor, and the rare Crobat.

-Weakness Policy Dragonite is a bit preictable, and not the best sweeper. I would probably just put dragon dance on it instead of agility, which may give you better results. Otherwise just switch it to a Garchomp or Moxie Salamence.

-Belly Drum Azumarill is for sweeping, choice band is for wallbreaking and revenge killing with aqua jet. Your team seems more in need of the wallbreaker/revenge killer, so I would leave this.

-If you really want to use Porygon 2, invest much more into special attack. However, with knock off being so good this gen, I don't think it will survive in OU. However, Cresselia isn't much better in that spot for the same reason, however. Rotom-W might be a good choice here if you just want a bulky special attacker.

-Smeargle is a terrible canidate for a rapid spinner because it is just slow and frail. If you want hazard-setter and rapid spinner/defog user in the same slot, use forretress, excadrill, mew, donphan, or claydol. They won't bring sticky web, but they're all just better.

-Focus Blast is usually picked over Air Slash on Charzard Y, but that is up to you. Tyrantitar will give you trouble if you don't carry it, but if you know that then you'll be fine.

Ok thanks, I would put knock off on conkeldurr, but I wanted it to be something I could obtain in pokemon X
