Okay so here's my Balanced Offense Team
Hippowdon @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Whirlwind
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Ice Fang
Some debate with Ice Fang and Slack Off as I do like both moves but I wanted to advocate better coverage so I'm trying out Ice Fang for now. So basic physical wall that can soak up anything outside of it's weaknesses and also a way for me to lay down rocks and get up weather damage against non-resistant opposition. Phasing option is always nice and I didn't want to use something with Dragon Tail since faries area thing
Thundurus @ Expert Belt
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Volt Switch
- Taunt
- Knock Off
My usual lead and with good reason. Fast Prankster lets me hit opposing prankster users and hazard set up users and then Volt Switch out or Knock Off predicting their switch. I go back and fourth on Life Orb and Expert Belt as well.
Celebi @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SAtk / 252 SDef
Calm Nature
- Earth Power
- Leaf Storm
- Psychic
- Recover
The special wall of the team. Overall Celebi is excellent at soaking up special attacks. Taking the status' that other members cant and then hitting back with huge stabs in Leaf Storm and Psychic. Earth Power is there for when a bad prediction on the opponent's part happens and for coverage.
Talonflame @ Leftovers
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Brave Bird
- Flare Blitz
- U-turn
- Roost
My physical beast of a bird. Talonflame does exactly what it does for everyone else. Brave Bird all the things (Obviously not Heatran). I chose the bulkier set to allow for more recoil damage and priority roost lets me come in on things then force a switch. Breaks the special walls for me and usually sweeps after some phasing damage from Hippowdon's whirlwind and stealth rock set up.
Blastoise @ Blastoisinite
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
Modest Nature
- Aura Sphere
- Dark Pulse
- Water Pulse
- Rapid Spin
The spinner. Every team with Talonflame needs a spinner and I love Blastoise so I thought why not go with the mega. A great special tank and hazard removal is exactly what I needed to make sure my bird would stay in the air. Very typical move set here I don't think there's a whole lot to explain on choices just coverages moves that benefit the ability.
Aegislash @ Leftovers
Ability: Stance Change
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Spd
- King's Shield
- Shadow Sneak
- Flash Cannon
- Shadow Ball
Wow this Pokemon is busted. I honestly didn't think I'd love the mixed attacking set so much but the only thing i can really complain about is my lack of Sacred Sword. But it can wall break and deal with a lot of opposing threats since its mixed. I'm open to switching this up to the Brave nature set up. I haven't tested that out too much.
Overall I haven't put a whole lot of time into this team in one sitting. The highest I've ever gotten ladder wise was about 1500. But I don't tend to play for more than about an hour or so. I HAVE however put about a months worth of playing off and on into just this team. I am open to all suggestions on this team I know there is most likely a lot of room for improvement.
