First competitive team

I based this team on what I liked and what I heard was good on OU. I also plan on breeding for this team soon.

Charizard @ Charizardite Y
Ability: Blaze (Mega:drought)
EVs: 252 SPA/SPE 4 HP
Nature: Timid

-Flamethrower
-Solar Beam
-Roost
-Air Slash

I wanted to use Charizard Y because I liked it more than Charizard X. I prefer to use flamethrower over fire blast because its more accurate. Solar beam is for coverage against any water and ground types. Roost is just in case stealth rocks is up and I need to bring back my HP. I chose Air slash as my final slot because I wanted STAB and was more accurate than focus blast and had a chance to flinch.

Fluffy(Azumarill) @ choice band
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 252 HP/Atk 4 SPD
Nature: Adamant

-Aqua jet
-Super Power
-Return
-Play rough

I've seen azumarill being use a lot and I thought it's be cool to use a pokemon like that. Azumarill is a bulky attacker that has swept so many times for me. Aqua jet has destroyed so many pokemon that doesn't realize how powerful it really is. Super power is there for and Steel types that the opponent still has. Return was just filler since I'd wouldn't be using waterfall that often. Play rough is for its STAB and the ability to take out almost any dragon, dark, or fighting pokemon.

Spikes(Ferrothorn) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Iron barbs
EVs: 252 HP/DEF 4 SPD
Nature: Relaxed

-Stealth rocks
-Power whip
-Gyro ball
-Leech seed

This is my main defensive pokemon and anything that touches it will quickly die. Setting up stealth rocks helps me with any team that can't be OHKO by my sweepers. Power whip makes sure that it isn't useless. Gyro ball helps me stop anything that is faster than it or fairy types. Leech seed is to help me live and take hits till attackers die.

KitKat(Sylveon) @ Leftovers
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 252 HP/SPD 4 SPA
Nature: Calm

-Wish
-Protect
-Hyper voice
-Heal bell

Sylveon is one of my favorite pokemon in XY and I loved that pokemon short about meeting each eevee evolution. Sylveon serves as a support special tank. Wish is there to heal pokemon or to help me stall out pokemon. Protect helps me scout out what kind of moves that the opponent might have. Hyper Voice is there to help me take care of pokemon with substitute. Heal Bell is there to heal any pokemon that has any type of status problem.

DirtKing(Nidoking) @ Life orb
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 252 SPA/SPE 4 HP
Nature: Timid

-Thunderbolt
-Earth power
-Sludge wave
-Ice beam

Nidoking was one of my favorite Gen 1 pokemon and when I learned he could be used competitively I knew he just had to be on my team. Tbolt helps me with any flying or water pokemon that could hurt him or my team. Earth power with STAB helps me destroy heatrans and any other fire pokemon. Sludge wave is for those annoying fairies that come around. Ice beam is for dragons that underestimate my nidoking.

Toots(Donphan) @ Assault vest
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 Atk/HP 4 SPD
Nature: Adamant

-Rapid spin
-Ice shard
-Earthquake
-Knock off

I wanted another physical attacker and rapid spinner. I knew there were many options, but donphan was one of my favorite pokemon in Gen 2. I remember when ash first caught phanpy and soon it evolved into donphan. Rapid spin is to help me clear out any stealth rocks that could endanger my charizard. Ice shard is for priority and for dragon types that doesn't expect it coming right at them. Earthquake is for STAB that can take out anything that can threaten my team. Knock off is to take off any item that could boost another pokemon in any way.

I like my team overall, but I feel like there could be some changes that could make this team much better than it is now.

On your Azumarill set, if you're going to keep Band, I would replace Return with Ice Punch or Knock Off, as Return doesn't have much point. Also, on Ferrothorn, I suggest replacing either Power Whip or Gyro Ball for Protect or Thunder Wave to get some extra Leech Seed recovery and cripple some Offensive threats, respectively.

I'm also agreeing with Hell_Above about replacing Donphan with Excadrill. Whether you want to turn Nidoking into a Scarfer and switch to BD/Sitrus Azumarill is up to you.

LolDonphan
If you're looking for a physical attacking Rapid Spinner, Excadrill is a much better choice.
Excadrill @ Air Balloon
EV:252 Spe, 252 Atk, 4 HP (Adamant/Jolly)
-Rapid Spin
-Stealth Rock
-Earthquake
-Iron Head/Swords Dance
Also, I'm going to vouch for Choice Scarf Nidoking. Not only does it surprise any Greninjas and the like, it also outspeeds many threats coming to your team, I see Keldeo as one of them (Once Sylveon is down)
Also, Belly Drum/Sitrus Berry Azumarill outclasses the Banded sets, IMO.
Also why do you have both Power Whip and Gyro Ball on Ferrothorn?

I see I'll probably change to scarf Nidoking, but I also forgot to say that Donphan is bulkier and still hits hard. I tried excadrill but I didn't like it as much as donphan.

I'll try out belly drum/sitrus berry set with ice punch. Also I like having two moves since I don't want to be locked into one move when I'm taunted
