I posted this on some other sites, but I figured I need all the help I can get. This is my doubles team for OU and in the actual ORAS game too online. I start off with klefki and beedrill, and just og from there. I usually wait to use greninja until I have a support pokemon or dunsparce out on the field though.

I prefer not using legendaries, but feel free to suggest.
One last thing, I'm not the most competitive person ever, and I'd like to keep dunsparce and greninja. I know dunsparce isn't the best, but those are my two favorite pokemon and I think they make battling alot more fun :)!
Thanks for the help guys:)

You need to add descriptions to your mons, basically 2-3 lines about their role and why you chose that set. If you don't, a moderator will lock your thread.

If you're looking for help in a competitive forum, you should honestly expect to have people rate competitively, regardless of your personal preferences. I can tell you right away that dunsparce and golurk are unviable, your overall team composition lacks in offense, and that you really shouldn't prejudice against legendaries if you want to win. That said, I'll try to keep the team as competitive as possible while keeping greninja and dunsparce and not using legends.

Here's an updated team, I'll edit in an explanation of my suggestions later, assuming this doesn't get locked. Note: it's very difficult to check the wide variety of threats in the tier(thundy, diancie, lando, tflame, kanga) under your restrictions. If you're aiming to make as strong a team as possible you have to be willing to use anything and everything.

edit:
The main purpose of my changes will be to cut down on dead weight mons and increase your offense.

Your original team has effectively three support mons, which really hinders your offensive capability in a tier that's 99% offense. You really need 4-6 reliable attackers so the game isn't lost after losing a single mon. (drop Klefki)

Additionally, you're lacking some significant coverage types and a source of real damage output, making it very easy for you to just lose to a single mon like Kanga or Diancie under twind or Charizard-Y. (drop Golurk, Beedrill)

Dunsparce's best option is to spam glare and try for rock slide flinches. The other moves are there pretty much because dunsparce doesn't have much else to do.

Greninja should use Hydro Pump>scald, the accuracy drop is worth it for the extra damage, especially when you might be in sun. Low kick was added as a shaky Kangaskhan check and to hit Kyurem-B and Heatran in sun.

Garchomp is the closest nonlegendary equivalent to Golurk, but it was mainly added because you needed a strong spread attacker.

Togekiss was left fairly unchanged, but I swapped thunder wave for tailwind since you've already got glare dunsparce.

Charizard-Y was added mainly because of the only reason to use Garchomp instead of Lando-T, which is as a dragon and fire answer on sun that resists Fire itself. Additionally. it pairs well with the other mons and is another strong spread attacker. I used a bulky set because of the large amount of speed control elsewhere on the team. Optimally, you'd want HP ground or Overheat for the third slot to check Heatran or do heavy single target damage respectively, but Focus Blast was used because you really don't have a good Kanga matchup.

Venusaur was added because it's a staple on sun, and because its fast sleep and coverage checks a very wide variety of mons, somewhat making up for dunsparce.

Hope this helps you play better regardless, but if you want help building or battling just ask around in the Smogon Doubles room on Showdown.

Hello DuNarwhal , and welcome to Smogon!

Unfortunately, this RMT is currently not following the rules which can be found in the RMT Resource Thread; specifically, this thread violates rule #4, because you lack sufficient descriptions for each Pokemon on your team. As such, I am afraid that I will have to lock this thread for the time being. If you would like this thread to be reopened, feel free to PM me with your updated RMT, and I would be happy to reopen this thread for you. If you need help making an RMT up to the required standards, I recommend that you carefully read the RMT Resource Thread and check out other RMTs from the Team Showcase and RMT Archive for some examples.

Good luck with your team, and have a nice day!
