First Gen 6 Team

Made my first team for Gen 6. Been treating me pretty well online lately, thought I'd share / see if anyone could offer some suggestions. Only thing that seems to destroy this team is Stealth Rock. Maybe someone can help me work around this.

Gengar-Mega @ Gengarite
Ability: Shadow Tag
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Substitute
- Disable
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast

Usually open with Gengar and feel up their opener. Usually start with a substitute and then depending on the move match up I will determine how to carry out from there. Disable allows me to get in an extra move with the +speed and really helps at least clear out a poke or two. Unless Mega Gengar is going to get the Uber tier soon - I can't see me parting with him.

Volcarona @ Lum Berry
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Quiver Dance
- Bug Buzz
- Fire Blast
- Hidden Power [Ground]

Pretty standard. Helps my team have a better type coverage. Not necessarily essential but it seems like every team has a Steel type. This is my way of dealing with that while still being able to hold its own overall. Just a good sweeper but may need to be replaced.

Sylveon @ Leftovers
Ability: Cute Charm
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SAtk
Bold Nature
- Moonblast
- Calm Mind
- Baton Pass
- Wish

Really helps clear out those pesty Dragons and is primarily on my team to handle that. In the event of no dragons she is a good complement to the majority of my pokes on my team with that Calm Mind + Baton Pass + Reflect. Overall an awesome supporter and dragon killer.

Hydreigon @ Expert Belt
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Fire Blast
- Roost
- Earth Power

Annoyance to go up against if not properly prepared. Have a good move coverage and Roost allows me to keep him alive as long as necessary and to also be a little more aggressive.

Gliscor @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 252 HP / 184 Def / 72 Spd
Impish Nature
- Substitute
- Toxic
- Roost
- Earthquake

As standard as Gliscor can get. Hopefully doesn't need much of an explanation but will switch to when I feel appropriate. If I can't land an EQ, I will use Toxic and deal with my opponent appropriately. Allows me to deal with almost everything but levitating/ Flying Steel types.

Starmine @ Life Orb
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef /252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Flash Cannon
- Thunderbolt

As per ZarZDodge's recommendation to help me against Mamoswine and deal with hazards. I have added to my team online and helps me be more effective overall.

Let me know what you think. Open to any/all suggestions.

This team is really weak to Mamoswine. I would change the Magnezone to a Starmie as not only would it allow to beat Mamo with Hydro Pump but it would also help against hazards. Besides, you don't really need Magnezone to beat steel types when you already have Volcarona and Gliscor to do the same. I would also change Reflect to Wish on Sylveon as a Calmminder needs to have some kind of recovery. Lastly I would change the Hydreigon set to something more speedy as the HP investment really isn't that useful. I would also change Roost and Earthpower to Focusblast and u-turn and change the item to Choice Specs.

Took most of your recommendations except the move swap on Hydreigon. I am going to experiment online a little bit more to see how it sizes up. Thanks for your suggestions!
