First Gen 6 Team

Hello Smogon! I recently made this team and have been swiftly improving my awful rating on Showdown. The team has no real goal other than covering each others weaknesses and.... well..... winning. I'm fairly new to this gen, so, bare with me if I am terribly weak to any common threats.

aggron.gif

Aggron-Mega @ Aggronite
Ability: Filter
EVs: 252 HP / 16 Def / 240 SDef
Relaxed Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Iron Head
- Thunder Wave/Ice Punch
- Earthquake

Mega Aggron seams to be criminally underrated. It has a HUMONGOUS defense stat, solid attack and a fantastic ability in filter. Super effective(physical)moves barely takes more than a quarter of its health away It serves as my defensive wall, stealth rock user and Aegislash killer. T-wave has been incredibly useful as my team is a bit slow, yet Ice Punch could get rid of Dragons, Grounds and Flying types that Aggron commonly faces.
azumarill.gif

Azumarill @ Choice Band
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 164 HP / 252 Atk / 92 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Play Rough
- Waterfall
- Aqua Jet
- Superpower

What is there to say that has not already been said about Azumarill? It is my main wallbreaker and commonly my lead. It resists many of the types Aegislash, Thundurus and Hydreigon are weak to like Fire, Ice, Dark and Fighting. This Pokemon puts large holes in the opponents defenses and is my most reliable team member. It stops Tryanitar completely, which otherwise, wreaks most of my team. Even its bulk is solid, Azumarill has virtually no drawbacks.

aegislash.gif

Aegislash @ Leftovers
Ability: Stance Change
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Brave Nature
- Shadow Claw/Shadow Sneak
- King's Shield/Shadow Sneak
- Sacred Sword
- Swords Dance/Shadow Sneak

5 move syndrome much? Aegislash is defiantly my main sweeper. He has amazing defenses, perfect coverage and outstanding power. Anyway, most of you guys know want makes Aegislash amazing, so, I'm going to focus on the obvious problem. I need Shadow Sneak. Almost every battle I have been in, I have been in a situation where if I had had SS, Aegislash would not have fainted, or have been forced out. Swords Dance is important for sweeping, Kings Shield lets Aegislash easily change forms, Shadow Claw is its best offence move, and Sacred Sword is essential. I would really like some advice here.
thundurus.gif

Thundurus (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Substitute
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Nasty Plot

Thundurus adds some much needed, raw speed to the team. He acts as my secondary set up sweeper if Aegislash falls or a solid revenge killer. Prankster gives it the crazy ability to have priority on Substitute and Nasty Plot. He is the best special attacker on the team yet is easily walled. His only other attacking move besides Thunderbolt, HP Ice is pathetically weak, even with a Nasty Plot up. I am defiantly open to alternatives to HP Ice.
hydreigon.gif

Hydreigon @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 32 HP / 252 SAtk / 224 Spd
Modest Nature
- Fire Blast
- Draco Meteor
- Dark Pulse
- U-turn

Hydreigon has perfect synergy with Agieslash. He resists Ground, Fire, Dark, and Ghost while Aegislash resists Fighting, Ice, Fairy, and Dragon. The Scarf add a surprise factor and much needed speed. It catches most dragons off guard. U-turn gives it another role as a pivot. After I added Blissey, I'd say he is the weak link of the team. It is usually the first one to go and it always seems to lack power. I don't know if I'm just not using it right, or if I need a new Scarfer.
blissey.gif

Blissey (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SDef
Bold Nature
- Wish
- Soft-Boiled
- Seismic Toss
- Toxic

Before Blssey, I used a Togekiss as my wish passer and special wall. It was awful for this team and could not tank special hits like I'd hoped. Blissey saved this team. As you all know, Blissey has insane special bulk and compensates for my teams overall, poor special bulk or a typing that does not suit the bulk. Forget Skarm-Bliss, Aggr-Bliss is amazing. Blissey tanks special hits and gives Aggron a form of recovery. Aggron tanks and physical hit thrown at it, weakness or no weakness and has power to boot. Many games of mine come down to Blissey stalling the opponents last Pokemon out.

Weaknesses I noticed:

Fighting: While it has yet to give me too much trouble, half my team is weak to the type (if you count Aggron). The other half does resist it though.

Hazards: Again, this weaknesses has not gave me any problems yet. I have not way of removing them. The only member crippled by Stealth Rocks is Thundurus.

Electric: Still no real problems, but my only electric resist is Hydreigon.

That's basically everything. I'm sure there is some gaping whole in this team that I have not found yet. Don't be to harsh :)

Sorry for double post, but, the preview was not is wide as the actual post. I'll make the descriptions longer.

Really solid team but with some nitpicks:

1. Run max speed on Hydreigon and you can keep that Modest nature. You will need that extra speed for Timid / Jolly Alakazam and Aerodactyl respectively (I don't think that 32 HP would help you much otherwise)
2. I would really recommend you running this set on Aegislash

Aegislash (M) @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Stance Change
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 80 SAtk
Brave Nature
- King's Shield
- Shadow Ball
- Shadow Sneak
- Sacred Sword

Trust me on this one. With Weakness Policy and Aegislash-Blade's form great defensive stats you can easily get those boosts and sweep away. (Shadow Ball is there for Ferrothorn (100% 3HKO), Foretress (100% 2HKO), Skarmory etc.)

3. I really like Nasty Plot Thundurus (it was one of my favorite sets in B2/W2) but how about Mixed?

Thundurus (M) @ Expert Belt
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 Spd / 200 SAtk / 56 Atk
Hasty Nature
- Superpower
- Volt Switch
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Thunderbolt

You can try this one and see how it does. (It actually sweeped a whole team for me) and it can synergize with your Hydreigon's U-Turn.

I hope I helped :]

That Thundurus set sounds great! I'm not to keen on Weakness Policy Aegislash as I tend to switch out a lot and getting Swords Dances of is somewhat easy. I'll defiantly try it out though.
