First Gen VI competitive team.

First team that I build, still new to the metagame and adapting to the changes, I could say that I'm still trying combinations and replacing other Pokes, maybe it's not the best typing coverage but surprisingly It have been working really well.

Mega-Lucario.png

Lucario-Mega @ Lucarionite

  • Ability: Adaptability
  • EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd Jolly Nature
  • Swords Dance
  • Close Combat
  • Crunch
  • Bullet Punch
Main Sweeper, basically the idea is trying to get rid of his counters and find a good switch to set a Sword Dance and break the other team. Fast and powerful, his Close Combat can kill almost everything. Crunch it's to hit the Psychic and Ghost type that now are everywhere and Bullet Punch it's for priority and hit Fairy's that can sometimes stop Lucario.

Rotom-Wash @ Chesto Berry

  • Ability: Levitate
  • EVs: 248 HP / 68 Def / 192 SDef Serious Nature
  • Volt Switch
  • Hydro Pump
  • Will-O-Wisp
  • Rest
Good defensive typing and synergy with my other wall, Ferrothorn. Can counter and check a lot of threads and find good switch with Volt Switch. Hydro Pump to hit some Fire Types and STAB. WoW checks and do passive damage to physical sweepers (like Garchomp and Rest gives more life to Rotom.

Ferrothorn @ Leftovers

  • Ability: Iron Barbs
  • EVs: 252 HP / 208 Def / 28 SDef Relaxed Nature IVs: 0 Spd
  • Stealth Rock
  • Leech Seed
  • Power Whip
  • Thunder Wave
Good synergy with Rotom-W, can set up Stealth rock so sometimes I put him as Lead. Counter and checks what Rotom can't and have both defenses very solid so if it's not hit by a effective move it can stall a lot with Leech Seed and Thunder Wave it's to mess a little the opponents team and reduce the speed of some sweepers.

Talonflame_(dream_world).png

Talonflame @ Sharp Beak

  • Ability: Gale Wings
  • EVs: 82 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spd Adamant Nature
  • Swords Dance
  • Brave Bird
  • Flare Blitz
  • Rost
Priority attacker and revenge killer, if I have the opportunity to set a Sword Dance good, but his main objective is revenge kill with his speed and priority Brave Bird. Gave him Roost so he can live a little longer. Gave him more speed so he can outspeed more things when he need to attack with Flare Blitz.
Lucario can kill the rock types that give him problem and Talonflame can counter Mega Venasaur or bulky grass types that give trouble to Lucario.

Excadrill @ Assault Vest

  • Ability: Mold Breaker
  • EVs: 248 HP / 136 Atk / 24 SDef / 100 Spd Adamant Nature
  • Rapid Spin
  • Earthquake
  • Iron Head
  • Rock Slide
Bulky Rapid Spinner so I can get rid of the entry hazards, especially the Stealth Rock cause they can wreck Talonflame and Sticky Web sometimes can be very annoying. Also to hit Steel types and Fairy's like Aegislash and Sylveon. Rock Slide is for coverage against flying types and Zapdos if it's not running Heat Wave

Greninja.png

Greninja @ Life Orb

  • Ability: Protean
  • EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Hasty Nature
  • Hydro Pump
  • Dark Pulse
  • Ice Beam
  • U-turn
Fast attacker and scout, the majority of times I send him as lead so I can do a U-turn and change something better or hit hard from the special side and kill unboosted Dragons like Garchomp or Dragonite. Can revenge kill and outspeed a lot of things and Protean makes that all of his attacks have a solid power but still need the SR to OHKO.

This team has worked really well but obviously sometimes Fire types give me some trouble. The idea is set something and kill while giving some good coverage but obviously is more a offensive team. I was thinking in changing Talonflame for Infernape, It's a good idea?
