First Generation VI Team

Landorus-T
@ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs:252 / HP 252 Atk / 4 Spd
Nature: Adamant
- Earthquake
- U-turn
- Stone Edge
- Stealth Rock

My leading pokemon is Landorus, can setup Stealth Rock, scout out with U-Turn, and has good coverage. Helps against physical sweepers for my team so pretty much I lead with this to scout out the opposing teams lead and anytime I cannot get around a counter I just U-turn out for a counter. I also like to setup Stealth Rocks when I can if I do not face a threatening lead.

Aegislash @ Airballoon
Ability: Stance Change
EVs: 148 HP / 252 SAtk / 108 Spd
Quiet Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Sacred Sword
- Flash Cannon
- King's Shield

Aegislash is Aegislash, honestly this thing should just be banned. It's so versatile it can pretty well sweep at any given notice if you are given the chance to do so. I find it hard to explain this pokemon aside from maybe it's EVs. I have it setup this way to be more bulky while giving it a mixed attacker playstyle because I wholeheartedly believe this is the best setup in the game for him. Is my EV spread the best? Probably not but I find something along this line to work well for me.

Rotom-Wash @ Chesto Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SAtk
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 30 Spd
- Hydro Pump
- Volt Switch
- Will-O-Wisp
- Rest

My secondary lead or primary lead, I go between this pokemon and Landorus as a lead if I feel the need to. Volt Switch to effectivly switch into checks, will O Wisp for the physical sweepers, hydro pump for coverage plus STAB, and finally Rest to ensure he survives as long as possible and chesto berry because of rest to awaken from slumber on its own. Gives it a nice bulky feel.

Mandibuzz (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Overcoat
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spd
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Taunt
- Roost
- Defog
- Foul Play

I ended up choosing Mandibuzz because I feel like it is the best physical wall in the game right now and I wanted to use Taunt/Defog when my opponent tries to setup Rocks/status on me. Roost to ensure he survives longer and Foul Play for STAB/coverage.

Talonflame @ Choice Band
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 92 HP / 252 Atk / 164 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Brave Bird
- Flare Blitz
- U-turn
- Tailwind / Sleep Talk

Talonflame is amazing, now one of my favorite pokemon ever. Its ability is amazing and essentially STAB all the time is so good! The 4th move pretty much comes down to preference, infact, I haven't decided what to use in this slot. He is my 2nd U-turn pokemon to scout further and Flare Blitz for that awesome STAb and coverage I feel I really needed. Pretty standard Talonflame setup though.

Lucario @ Lucarionite
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 4 SDef / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Dark Pulse
- Aura Sphere
- Vacuum Wave

The end game to mid game sweeper of the team, however, I'll be honest. I do not bring him in a lot until mid to late game (sometimes I can get by in matches where I never even bring him in at all) but when I do he simply rapes! Excellent coverage, everyone expects physical set and it simply takes people by surprise still. I personally think aside from Lucario the only other solid Mega Evolution I wanted to use but opted for Lucario (due to being my favorite pokemon) is Mega Kangaskaun.
