this is my first team ive ever attempted to make and im really into the idea of a hail team ill be making the team on a ds so i would really like to get as much insight as possible abomasnow lead @leftovers timid
4atk/ 252 spa/ 252 spe
substitute
leech seed
blizzard
focus punch
this is my lead to start up hail he'll prob switch right away as hes my only way to get the hail
Walrein @leftovers
220 hp/ 252 def/ 36 spd
protect
subsititute
blizzard roar
the basic stallrien with roar to rack up some spike and toxic spike damage from froslass and tentacruel respectively.
Froslass @brightpowder timid
248 hp/ 228 def/ 32 spe
spikes
substitute
thunderwave
blizzard
my spiker and rapid spin blocker with t wave for spreading status abuseing snow cloak. ive also thought of replacing blizz with confuse ray to further annoy opposition
Clefable @ toxic orb magic guard
252 hp/ 44def/ 212spd
wish
protect
seismac toss
heal bell
my teams spd wall/cleric adding wish support, heal bell support probably my favorite and one of the most vital parts of the team as it helps shoo away nasty toxic users and letting me get back into a hail stall after an opponant as crippled either walrein or froslass
Tentacruel@ leftovers careful
252 hp/ 120 def/ 136 spd
toxic spikes
rapid spin
surf
sludgebomb
my rapid spinner/toxic spiker hes here for opposing fire types and absorbing toxic spikes. tentacruel really helps to eliminate toxic spike users
and dealing a bit a damage here and there
Moltres@ life orb modest
252 spa/ 4 spd/ 252 spe
fire blast
air slash
hidden power fighting
roost
my main form of atk. its here to come out and burn down some of my opposition the hidden power choice is just what i got stuck with. i like moltres as it lets me turn things around and go on the offensive. this thing can deal quite a bit of damage and helps finish of weakened foes the only problem is its highley reliant on tentacruel to keep out the stealth rock. also here to absorb fire atks and deal with the ever present scizor
