Deoxys-S @ Light Clay
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Hp / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Nature: Jolly or timid (doesn't really matter)
- Reflect
- Light Screen
- Stealth Rocks
- Magic Coat
In my opinion, the premier Dual Screen setter of 5th Gen OU. Can survive a Scarved U-Turn from Genesect leads with its bulk, even without Reflect up. Aim of the game is to set whichever screen most is appropriate i.e. Reflect when facing Tyranitar leads to survive the Crunch, and then set Stealth Rocks up. Rocks are essential, because they make my sweepers hit a OHKO instead of a 2HKO on many occasions. Magic coat screws up lead taunters a hazard placers and also normally stops set up sweepers because they think i would have taunt. Often, this guy can set up both screens and Stealth Rocks. He is an integral part of my team, because his screens allow my sweepers to switch in and set-up safely, paving the way for a sweep.
Dragonite @ Lum Berry
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 252 Hp / 44 Atk / 212 Spe
Nature: Adamant
- Dragon Dance
- Dragon Claw
- Fire Punch
- Roost
Dragonite's bulk allows for relatively easy setup, making it a very potent threat that can run right through the unprepared. Roost and Multiscale make a powerful combination that preserves Dragonite's HP while it is setting up or plowing through a particularly tough opponent, making the process safer and easier to pull off. Fire Punch is a great attack to hit bulky Grass- and Steel-types harder and creates perfect coverage bar Heatran.
Conkeldurr @ Leftovers
Ability: Guts
EVs: 4 Hp / 252 Atk / 252 SpD
Nature: Brave
- Bulk Up
- Mach Punch
- Drain Punch
- Payback
Conkeldurr will be my priority move user and status absorber. He will come in (on a status hopefully) set up some Bulk Ups if he can and Mach Punch everything faster than it while keeping itself alive with Drain Punch. Payback is there to take out any of those annoying ghosts as well as hit flyers and bugs harder. With brave nature and 0 speed IVs it almost always get the boost on payback
Volcarona @ Life Orb
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Nature: Timid
- Quiver Dance
- Fiery Dance
- Big Buzz
- Hidden Power [Rock]
Bug Buzz is the Bug-type STAB move of choice and is a reliable and powerful attack that will cripple anything that doesn't resist it after some boosts. Fiery Dance is the best Fire-type STAB, even though it is weaker than some other options, because of its secondary effect, which raises its Special Attack, making it better in the long run. Despite these powerful attacks, there is a significant number of Pokemon in OU that resist this combination. Hidden Power Rock is the best option and lets it hit Gyarados, Dragonite, and Salamence for super effective damage, just to name a few.
Scizor @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 244 Hp / 252 Atk / 12 Spe
Nature: Adamant
- U-Turn
- Bullet Punch
- Superpower
- Pursuit
U-turn is to allow Scizor to deal out huge damage to incoming Pokemon and maintain momentum by scouting the switch-in and grabbing a favorable match-up. Choice Band-boosted Bullet Punch is incredibly powerful and allows Scizor to revenge kill many dangerous threats. Superpower does huge amounts of damage to Scizor's main counters, Heatran, Magnezone, and Ferrothorn expecting to come in on a resisted Bullet Punch. Pursuit allows Scizor to KO or do large amounts of damage to a fleeing Psychic/ghost-types, such as Reuniclus, Starmie, or gengar. also i put in 12 speed evs for out speeding the standard scizor.
Lucario @ Life Orb
Ability: Stead Fast
EVs: 4 Hp / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Nature: Adamant
- Swords Dance
- Close Combat
- Extremespeed
- Crunch
Close Combat serves as Lucario's main STAB move. With ExtremeSpeed's boost to +2 priority, Lucario can now outspeed all other offensive priority moves except for Fake Out. Crunch hits Pokemon like Jellicent and Reuniclus and gives perfect coverage between it's three moves. I put stead fast in there instead of inner focus because i think a boost to speed is better than being immune to them.
