Hi guys, i have been testing this team for a couple of weeks now and after some changes i was wondering if you could give me some insight, and sorry for the broken english.
Im trying to make my favorite pokemon (Arcanine) work on OU, and build a team around it.
Arcanine @ Choice Band
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Extreme Speed
- Close Combat
- Crunch
- Flare Blitz
Adamant banded Extreme speed has been proven quite usefull for picking off some weak pokemons as well as close combat for taking those heatrans, ferrothorns, adding flare blitz dor a powerfull stab.
Chansey (F) @ Eviolite
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Soft-Boiled
- Toxic
- Seismic Toss
- Heal Bell
Chansey paired with Scarmory isnt new but works preety well IMO
Skarmory @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 232 Def / 24 Spe
Impish Nature
- Whirlwind
- Stealth Rock
- Roost
- Brave Bird
Garchomp @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Claw
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
Scarf Garchomp was added because my team was laking some for of safety control for those that tries to set up on my chansey
Alakazam @ Alakazite
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Psychic
- Focus Blast
- Energy Ball
- Calm Mind
I realised i was laking a strong Special attacker, and i filled the mega slot with this threat that can can be quite powerfull with its new ability
Crobat @ Black Sludge
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Defog
- Toxic
- Brave Bird
- U-turn
My team desperately need some form of spin support or defogger and with crobat i found a good lead that can scout and u-turn to gain some momentum
appart from garchomp stonedge i dont really have a way to deal with talonflame, but arcanine kinda solves this problem With ES thats KO after rocks, rotom-w didnt couse me much troble since alakazam can deal with it quite nicely and the same goes for those annoying mega venasaurs
