Hey guys! I'm new, but I have ben reading smogon for a while, and wanted an opinion on a team I plan to use, when I get wi-fi(which shall be pretty soon!)
Uxie@ Leftovers
220 Def./ 36 Sp Atk./ 252 sp def.
Nature: Calm (+Sp Def. -Atk)
Moves:
~Psychic
~Shadow Ball
~Giga Drain
~Calm mind
Okay, this isn't your every day Uxie, but, nothing on my team is ment to be ordinary. Calm Mind is ment to boost the already massive Sp Def she has. (yes, I'm refering to my Uxie as a girl. Always have, always will) This is so she can take hits from the likes of Gengar, possibly Spiritomb, and the like. Now, after all that calm minding, you'll want some offnceive moves to use that new found power with, won't you? Well, in this set, you have three^^ Psychic is ment to anialated Gengar, Infernape, Heracross, and others that could cause you some problems, for your team later on, and not to mention for stab, while Shadow Ball takes care of Psychics(namely, Alakazam, and Azelf) and help out with Gengar, if Psychic runs dry. Now, your all probably wondering, 'why the heck put Giga Drain on Uxie?' Why, it's actually quite simple. A way to heal, without the retaliation of sleep slowing you down, and letting Darkrai be able to bring you absolute hell. Not to mention, it's can hit bulky ground and water types, and leech off them for the match^^
Roserade @ Life orb
4 Def./ 252 Sp Atk./ 252 Spe.
Nature: Rash (+Sp Atk. -Def. I believe...)
Moves:
~Sludge Bomb
~Petal Dance
~Shadow Ball
~Synthesis
Not your tipical Roserade, either, but still can bring the hurt. Sludge Bomb to take on non-grass/poisons, and Stab, while Petal Dance is just Rayquaza outrage, just weaker, and more feminine^^ Shadow ball can hit those nasty Psychics trying to do you massive harm, and Synthesis is for when Life Orb is about to kill you, or to remove residual damage. Try to avoid Sandstorm and Rain.
Darkrai @Focus Sash
4 Atk./ 252 Sp Atk./ 252 Spe.
Nature: Hasty(+Spe. -Def.)
Moves:
~Spacial Rend
~ThunderBolt
~Dark void
~Pursuit
Holy crap...this thing can kill. Spacial Rend is for dragons like Rayquaza, and Garchomp, who might come in to obliverate you. This will be a nasty surprise for them, unless they have Focus Sashes of their own. ThunderBolt is for the possibility of Paralisis Hax, which we all love.
(not...unless were the ones benefiting from it) Dark Void is to bring in Bad Dreams, which can be a real pain in the ass, trust me. -_- And Pursuit is for catching Psychics and Ghosts off guard, and incapasitate them.
Regice @Lum berry
252 Atk./ 220 Def./ 36 Sp Def.
Nature: Lonely (+Atk. -Def.)
Moves:
~ThunderPunch
~Ice Punch
~Curse
~Rest
CurseIce. Dreadfully powerful in the hands of an expert, which I am not...yet. Anyway, Curse is to make up for the nature: it's boost your defenses, and not to mention give Thunder, and Ice Punch some much needed boost. Rest is for instant Recovery, though, unless your feeling lucky, you may not want to use it too much.
(please not, that this is taking a long time for me to remember...I need a Mountain Dew...)
Mismagius @Leftovers
4 Hp/ 252 Sp Atk/ 252 Spe
Nature: Timid(+Spe. -Atk.)
Moves:
Shadow Ball
Calm mind
Mean Look
Perish Song
You know how they say most opponents won't expect a dual Calm Mind/Perish Song Mismagius? Well, it may not be exactly what's to be looked for, but, it can still cause massive threatening, and damage
This set is Null and void when it comes to Blissey, but that is what Perish trapping is for^^ not to mention Cm Shadow Ball can really sting after a while, and on death fodder pokemon.
Espeon @Tanga Berry
4 HP./ 252 Sp Atk./ 252 Spe
Rash (+Sp Atk. -Sp Def.)
Moves:
Psychic
Shadow Ball
Morning Sun
Hidden Power Fighting
This is a weapon in my arsinal that is best kept secret, so I've saved it for last^^ This is a basic Sp. Sweeping Espeon, but a bit different. Psychic takes care of Fighting types, Gengar, and the ocasional Weezing, while Shadow ball handles fellow Psychics, and another move for getting Gengar off your back. Hidden Power Fighting, while possibly unsusal, could, in the right hands, handle Tyranitar, and many other Dark types trying to mess with Espeon.
Well, I've edited this around a bit, sence being tired, and writing down my team don't jive well. For the record, a few things:
-This team isn't in any particular order, due to the fact I really haven't disided it.
-This is a Uber metagame team, but I plan to replace Darkrai if I use it in OU.
-I'm good with reading Ev set, but I've yet to learn to follow them. It's what I came to learn.
