First Pre-PokeBank Team

First of all I apologize for my English, I am not so good in speaking/writing it. Since I'm not so good in competitive battling and I'm even worst in creating a team I'd like some help to improve it.

Well, thanks for the help :)

Politoed @ Damp Rock
Ability: Drizzle
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
Modest Nature
- Scald
- Ice Beam
- Focus Blast
- Toxic

He is the core of the team, since I don't have any rain dancer I have to keep him alive as long as possible: his task is to set up rain to protect Ferrothorn (from fire attacks) and to make the best use of Kabutops and MegaGyarados' waterfall.
I chose Scald over Surf for the burn chance, and over HydroPump for better accuracy. Ice Beam is to cripple Dragons and Flying Types and FocusBlast usually for Ferrothorn (or other Steel Types). The last move is Toxic since I don't have any other Pokemon that can inflict status condition. In the end Damp Rock is to make rain last longer, since 4 Pokemon of my team rely on it.

Kabutops @ Life Orb
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Adamant Nature
- Stone Edge
- Waterfall
- Swords Dance
- Rapid Spin

Maybe for this team Kingdra was better, since she doesn't share an Electric/Fighting/Grass weakness as the rest of my team does, but I really needed a rapid spinner since a StealthRock destroys my Multiscale-Dragonite strategy.
I chose Waterfall over Aqua Jet since I've rarely been able to set up sword dance, so I prefer to do more damage over the priority move.

Jolteon @ Expert Belt
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 56 HP / 200 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Thunder
- Volt Switch
- Roar
- Hidden Power [Ice]

With other “versions” of the team I tried Vaporeon, and I loved it, but since I'm too weak against Electric Types (Rotom) I had to change it for Jolteon, which is really good. Roar is to “abuse” of Stealth Rock, but its main goal is to break baton pass chain. HP Ice is to use against Dragons or -if I can't set Dragonite- against Breloom. Thunder over Thunderbolt since I can rely of the boost in accuracy given by rain.

Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 Atk
Relaxed Nature
- Leech Seed
- Stealth Rock/Spikes
- Protect
- Gyro Ball

I try to use him as soon as possible to place Stealth Rock/Spikes; I don't know yet which one to keep since I can't remove: - Protect, which is essential to heal Ferrothorn ( via Leech Seed and Leftovers) and in the meantime to find out some of the opponent moves. - Gyro Ball is the only attacking move I have, and it's good against Pokemon as Alakazam and Gengar; - Leech Seed is good to heal little by little my team and to make the opponent switch (and hurt is other Pokemon with Stealth Rock/ Spikes)

Gyarados @ Gyaradosite
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Earthquake
- Substitute

Along with Kabutops he is my main Physical Sweeper. Since I usually use Kabutops under rain I find myself using Gyarados for the most part when rain is over, but it doesn't matter, when he can use Dragon Dance he's just too good.

Dragonite @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk / 4 Spd
Mild Nature
- Roost
- Fire Punch
- Draco Meteor
- Hurricane

I use him as a special attacker, Hurricane is for his accuracy under rain, and is the only good way to have the best against Fighting Types ( Breloom is insane against my pokemons) and so Ferrothorn is fully covered (rain against fire and Dnite against fighting). Draco Meteor is good, since with Weakness Policy I can usually use it twice at “full power”. As last move I chose FirePunch since being a physical attack it doesn't have the DracoMeteor-Malus and it's a good attack to use when rain is over against steel types.
