Hello, I'm new here, and welcome to my first RMT! It's my future platinum team. First, I'm pretty unexperienced and newbish at this, so clear rates, tips, and critique would be awesome. I've tested this team a little bit on shoddy, and it came out fine (4 W., 2 L., 0 D.). Here is the team at a glance:
---
The Lead
Jirachi @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 76 HP/252 Atk/180 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Iron Head
- Trick
- Stealth Rock
- U-turn
Jirachi is an awesome lead + anti-lead. The moveset looks pretty standard. Iron Head to (most likely)flinch the opposing lead and gaining a free SR, or trick to cripple other leads. U-Turn is the escaping + scouting move, not much to say about this.
---
The Physical attacker or whatever...
Breloom (M) @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 6 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spe, -SAtk)
- Substitute
- Leech Seed
- Spore
- Focus Punch
I hit opponent with Leech Seed and use Substitute to avoid damage, while stealing the opponent's HP. This can frequently cause my opponent to switch out, giving Breloom the chance to unleash its extremely powerful Focus Punch. To take advantage of the possible switches caused by this set, Stealth Rock support is very helpful, particularly as Flying-types are often switched into Breloom. The HP EVs allow optimal recovery from Poison Heal, and the speed EVs allow to outspeed adamant T-tar and more.
---
The Mixed Sweeper
Electivire (M) @ Expert Belt
Ability: Motor Drive
EVs: 36 Atk/220 Spd/252 SAtk
Mild nature (+SAtk, -Def)
- Thunderpunch
- Flamethrower
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Cross Chop
I chose T-Punch because Gar already has bolt. Flamethrower is for dealing heavy damage to the likes of Metagross, Bronzong, Magnezone, and Celebi, while OHKOing Scizor, Forretress, and Tangrowth. Hidden Power Grass is an option to hit Swampert and Rhyperior. Cross Chop allows Electivire to beat what its special attacks cannot, most notably Blissey, Snorlax, and Tyranitar. Only Snorlax has a chance of surviving two hits, but Stealth Rock or sandstorm damage will mean that it is always 2HKOed.
---
The Special Sweeper
Gengar (M) @Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Def/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt
- Focus Blast
- Hidden Power [Fire]
I like Gengar and this set very much, because of Gar's high Sp.Atk and great type coverage, and useful immunities to Normal, Ground and Fighting. Shadow ball is a good STAB move, T-bolt to OHKO Gyara and 2HKO max HP Suicune, Focus Blast to OHKO min. HP Heatran and HP Fire to roast Forretress and Scizor.
---
The (Special) Wall
Blissey (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 Def/80 SAtk/176 SDef
Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Toxic
- Ice Beam
- Wish
- Softboiled
Standard WishBliss. Not much to say about. Toxic and Softboiled to stall, Ice Beam for Gliscor, Nite, Mence and things like that, and Wish to recover. This thing lasts long, guys.
---
The Physical Wall/Spiker/Spinner
Forretress (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP/176 Def/80 SDef
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Spikes
- EarthQuake
- Rapid Spin
- Gyro Ball
This guy works pretty well as Spiker as well for a Spinner. Relaxed Nature is to give Gyro Ball some extra power, and the EVs for some extra solidarity(or how do you spell it:naughty:).

Ok, that was it, my first RMT. I dont like making a threat list now, maybe I'll post it later. And sorry if i forgot something, please tell and I'll edit. changes will be in bold.
Suggestion are always welcome. Well, thanks for reading, and rate/hate/love! Cya!
