XY OU First Rain Team

So this is my first rain team.. I'd appreciate if I could get some tippers on how to make the pokemon better or what pokemon to replace.. thanks! I also apologize that this team is not 100% complete, but I'm only looking for a couple tippers, and I'm new here so if there is an area where I can get more feedback and guidance to make this 100% complete, please direct me there. Also, as I said I'm new to this site, and don't understand why it says this topic is in the ORAS discussion and such, yet the tab says it's XY OU.... thanks :/

First glance: Manectric, Gyarados(Mega), Lapras, Dragonite, Floatzel, Rhyperior
*I've debated replacing someone with either Gastrodon or Cradily (both with storm drain) to throw next to a Rhyperior to throw the opponent off and give Rhyperior the water relief, as well as give said pokemon the special attack boost.

Manectric
Damp Rock
Lightningrod
Timid Nature
252 Spe/ 252 SpA/ 4 SpD
-Rain Dance
-Thunder
-Signal Beam
-Protect

Manectric is a powerful Speedy Special Sweeper. First turn Rain Dance and Damp Rock to get the rain going, which I chose over Politoed for two reasons. One, Politoed is weak and goes down soon without the offensive capability I get from Manectric, and Manectric has Lightningrod to get the pressure off of Gyarados. Rain Dance to get rain going, Thunder for Stab and 100% in rain, Signal Beam because of the type coverage and his Special Attack is high, and protect because it's doubles and Gyarados' Earthquake.

Gyarados
Gyaradosite
Intimidate (Mold Breaker after Evolving)
Adamant Nature
252 Spe/ 252 Atk, 4 SpD
-Dragon Dance
-Waterfall
-Earthquake
-Crunch

Gyarados is an obvious choice and a Fast Physical Sweeper. First turn Dragon Dance and Mega Evolve usually leads to a knockout the next turn with waterfall. If I know that one of the opposing pokemon is weak to ground, Manectric with Protect and have Gyarados Earthquake. With the Dragon Dance upping his already ridiculous attack, he usually outspeeds opponents. Crunch for type coverage and stab after Mega Evolving.

(I have two different Lapras' and I'm trying to decide which is better, help?)
Lapras
Leftovers
Water Absorb/Hydration
Brave Nature
252 Atk/ 252 HP, 4 SpA
-Waterfall
-Freeze-Dry
-Ice Shard
-Thunder (Or Toxic or Protect?)/Rest (If Hydration is ability)

Lapras is a good Bulky Physical Sweeper. Water Absorb because Dragonite has Surf, or Hydration for status effect relief. Waterfall for Stab and it's water type so rain. Freeze Dry for Ice coverage and it's good on opposing water types, as well as Stab. Ice Shard for stab and to pick off pokemon with low health. Thunder because of rain accuracy, toxic because it's toxic, or protect because it's protect. If he has hydration, he can rest and Hydration will cure it at the end of the turn.

Dragonite
Yache Berry
Multiscale
Calm Nature
248 HP/ 252 SpA/ 8 Spe
-Hurricane
-Thunder
-Surf/Waterfall
-Roost

Dragonite is probably the one I'm having most problems with.. The team builder suggests 252 SpD, 248 HP, and 8 Atk with a Gentle Nature if he has waterfall. I don't quite agree with that spread and maybe I'm wrong.. If he has Surf, the spread is 252 SpA, 248 HP, and 8 SpD, which is slightly more understandable. I have him Hurricane for stab and 100% accuracy in whether, and Thunder for 100% accuracy in weather. Surf for rain damage and to heal a Water Absorb Lapras, or waterfall if Lapras has Hydration. Roost just to heal, maybe there's better...

Floatzel
Assault Vest(?)
Swift Swim
Adamant Nature
252 Spe/ 252 Atk/ 4 SpD
-Rain Dance
-Waterfall
-Power-Up Punch
-Ice Punch

I chose Floatzel because of that ridiculous speed. In the rain with swift swim, it's about 658. If the rain ends, he's still really fast and can get another Rain Dance going. Waterfall for stab and rain, power up punch if there's something weak to fighting and to raise attack, and Ice Punch for coverage.

Rhyperior
Passho Berry
Lightningrod
Adamant Nature
252 Atk/ 248 HP/ 8 SpD
-Earthquake
-Rock Slide
-Megahorn
-Protect

Rhyperior to steal Electric type moves. Although it's contradictory, as the Rain raises water type moves, which are super effective, and a Special water move would most likely be an OHKO (even with Passho, although he should be able to survive a physical water move with it), he provides good coverage and a relief for water types weak to electricity. Anyways, Earthquake for stab, Rock slide for stab, Mega horn for type coverage, and Protect to try and survive a turn if there is a grass or water pokemon on field while the other pokemon takes it out. I realize Rhyperior is probably first on the list to remove, and I usually try and evade moves with a low accuracy like rock slide and megahorn, but in my opinion he was the strongest pokemon after Manectric that could get Lightningrod and provide the type coverage, despite his weakness to Water.

Sorry that's all so much reading! But I would highly appreciate some recommendations or feedback. Thanks everyone! Also, I have a few replays of this team, and if anyone would like to see it in play to get more of an understanding of it's strategy, please tell me and I'll post them here.

Edit: I just swapped out Rhyperior for this, let me know if you think it was good or bad, and how to improve on Goodra and it's EV spread

Goodra
Hydration
Weakness Policy
Modest Nature
252 HP/ 156 Def/ 92 SpA
-Acid Armor
-Rest
-Dragon Pulse
-Sludge Bomb

I decided on Goodra because of his ridiculous tankiness and physical sweeping abilities. In the rain with Hydration, he can fully heal without the sleeping punishment. Weakness policy because most of the common moves that are super effective are either ice beam or dazzling gleam, with a few others. If he gets hit, he won't take much damage, and his SpA will jump to a ridiculous 612. Acid Armor doubles his Defense to 430 for more tankiness. Rest heals him to full health and the rain cures the sleep. Dragon Pulse for stab and sludge bomb for those stupid fairies.

basically every rain team includes a Politoed...automatic setters are quite useful. I'd recommend

Politoed@Damp rock
Bold Nature, Drizzle Ability
252 HP 252 Defence 4 Special Attack
-Scald
-Toxic/Rest
-Perish Song/Encore
-Protect/Rest

I've tried Politoed and just don't like him.. I replaced a weak (in my opinion) Politoed that's only good for throwing rain out, with a Manectric that usually goes first with Rain Dance, and still gets a chance to Thunder on second turn. He also has Lightningrod to stop any electric attacks on Gyarados. If there is an electric type, second turn Manectric Protect and Gyarados Earthquake.

You're talking like this is for a doubles team. This is the wrong section for that.

You're wrong about 'toed but while I see your point, it's a different conversation for doubles.

It is for doubles.. I assumed that's what this is. Can you redirect me on where to repost this?

Just replaced Lapras with this, good or bad idea?:
Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
- Ingrain
- Leech Seed
- Protect
- Seed Bomb

Super tanky, recovers a lot of health with a combination of leftovers, ingrain, and leech seed. Seed bomb so he has an attacking move. The iron barbs are for giving out damage without using a move, and he should be able to take quite a few hits. Protect just to stall and recover. Since Lapras was meant mostly to be a tank that could do moderate damage with waterfall, I think Ferrothorn is a smarter choice for a tank, as he is only weak to fire, which has half damage in rain. He is also weak to fighting, but he shouldn't have to worry about them too much with all of the defense. Was it a smart choice or should I put Lapras back?
