Jirachi @ Choice Scarf
Jolly Nature
Serene Grace
EVs: 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spe
~ Iron Head
~ Trick
~ Stealth Rock
~ U-turn
Standard Anti-Lead Jirachi... I desperately needed something fast that could revenge kill pokes with low hp(when he still has choice scarf on) and antir-lead can also pull off some nice starting game moves. He's very versatile in the sense that I can set up rocks, screw their stealth rocker, or flinch them to death. His fire weakness and earthquake weaknesses are covered by gyarados, so gyarados is a good switch in, but it really depends. U-turn is basically to switch out first turn if they come out with something threatening and you dont want to risk the stealth rocks or trick.
Electivire@Expert Belt
Mild Nature
Motor Drive
EVs: 252 SpA / 76 Atk / 182 Spe
~ Thunderbolt
~ Flamethrower
~ Ice Punch
~ Cross Chop
Basically what the team is build around. I have great counters (tangrowth and tyranitar) for the 2 main counters of electivire (swampert and gardevoir)
He has amazing type coverage which is why expert belt is there. Zapdos and Starmie can be a pain, but mixedvire can switch into a thunderbolt/ thunder and bring them down a notch. Also a decent switch to Porygon-Z, who can be a pain in the butt. I dont carry Hidden power Ice because this is for wifi as well, and hidden power is too time consuming to get. That's why for EVs Atk is a bit higher than the standard mixedvire.
Slowbro @ Leftovers
Ability: Own Tempo
EVs: 212 HP/252 Def/44 SAtk
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
~ Ice Beam
~ Slack Off
~ Surf
~ HP Electric
The dragon killer. Since he has bulky defense I can switch him into salamence or gyarados to take them down. Also found that he wrecks machamp (can't be confused and is resistant to fighting)
Slowbro also draws in more electric attacks for electivire to eat up.
HP electric is mostly for gyarados and other water types trying to switch in. Surf is for stab, ice beam is for pesky grass types and of course dragons, and slack off is obvious.
Tangrowth@ Leftovers
Impish Nature
Leaf Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 228 Def / 28 Spe
~ Power Whip
~ Sleep Powder
~ Stun Spore
~ Earthquake
Main physical Wall of the team. Wrecks Swampert and other bulky waters (except suicune but jirachi can usually take care of that pesky dog)
Also really good when predicting a switch into say a fire type (main weakness) you use stun spore, then earthquake them and they're all like wtf.
Can also switch into an outraging salamence/anything without taking too much damage, and then put it to sleep/ paralyze it and cripple it.
I chose paralyze support over leech seed as it helps my slower sweepers late game.
Tyranitar@Leftovers
Adamant Nature
Sandstream
EVs: 176 HP / 252 Atk / 80 Spe
~ Dragon Dance
~ Crunch
~ Stone Edge
~ Earthquake
Psychic counter of the team (mostly gardevoir, others include celebi and cresselia I guess). Im thinking of switch crunch to pursuit since it wrecks anything trying to switch out. Supposed to be more versatile than offensive so im not using choice items.
This guy also needs some work. Not quite sure how to make the "perfect" defensive set that can be used to counter gardevoir, etc.
Gyarados@ Leftovers
Adamant Nature
Intimidate
EVs:156 HP / 108 Atk / 100 Def / 144 Spe
~ Dragon Dance
~ Waterfall
~ Taunt
~ Stone Edge
My defensive gyarados. Pretty much to switch into scisor and mamoswine, while still being able to hold its own when setting up DD. Also draws in those nice thunder attacks for electivire to suck up.
Taunt is obviously for setting up dragon dance, wrecks ninjask and other pokes trying to set up. Waterfall is for stab and stone edge is the next best option.
So that's my team. What I really need help with is my late game. If I lose one of my counters I can usually get swepped by a DD Salamence or starmie or something. I think that Salamence is the most expendable and I want maybe a faster sweeper. Anyway help me out thanks =)
