SS OU First RMT, Bonking with Triple Axel Weavile

Hey there! I started playing not too long ago so I'm still somewhat low-ladder (1400-ish) but I've been having a lot of success so far with this team. I'd like to know if there are changes that would make it even better. Thank you!

Weavile @ Choice Band
Ability: Pickpocket
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Triple Axel
- Ice Shard
- Knock Off
- Low Kick

Being my favorite Pokemon, I felt obliged to include him in my team and I'm not disappointed. Despite the crippling weakness to Stealth Rocks, Weavile is an amazing revenge-killer and late-game sweeper with a great speed tier and a dual STAB that hits like a truck. Choice Band-boosted Ice Shard also allows him to attack before Rillaboom and post-Scale Shot Garchomp, which seem to be on the rise after the Cinderace/Magearna bans (not to mention that having those two gone is good for Weavile). Low Kick allows to catch Pokemon such as Tyranitar or Heatran that would attempt to switch in, predicting an Ice or Dark move.

Landorus-Therian (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 112 Def / 144 Spe
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- U-turn
- Earthquake
- Toxic

Landorus was the last Pokemon I added to the team. I lacked a Ground immunity, a reliable Electric resistance/immunity, a Stealth Rocker, a U-Turner and an Earthquake user. And low and behold, Landorus-T provides all of those things for me. Tank a hit and pivot to something else. Or simply click Earthquake to get rid of those pesky Excadrills and Tapu Koko's. I considered going for a Scarf set instead to have a more offensive pivot but defensive Landorus has been working fine for now.

Slowking-Galar @ Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 176 SpA / 80 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Future Sight
- Sludge Bomb
- Flamethrower
- Scald

My premier Special Wall. As long as his Assault Vest isn't Knocked Off, he can easily take Earth Powers from Heatran and KO it back with his surprisingly powerful Scalds. And of course, Future Sight is great against non-Dark types. He also works greatly against the Tapu's as Sludge Bomb makes quick work of them. Flamethrower helps me deal against the likes of Ferrothorn, Corviknight, Rillaboom and Melmetal, though Slowking's main use is to tank a hit and pivot away to get Regenerator going.

Kartana @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Leaf Blade
- Sacred Sword
- Knock Off
- Smart Strike

A standard Scarf Kartana set. It helps against some threats like bulky Water or Fairy types that Weavile may have more trouble breaking through. With a scarf, it can outspeed almost anyone and hit it hard with its base 181 Attack. And it has considerable physical bulk so it can safely switch in against some physical moves like Rillaboom's Grassy Glide or even Earthquakes from weakened Hippowdons. And of course, I cannot say no to an additional Knock Off user.

Toxapex @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Scald
- Toxic
- Knock Off
- Recover

My physical wall and Slowking's partner in crime when it comes to taking hit for the team and pivoting back. Rocky Helmet provides good chip against physical attackers and his main role is to cripple opposing Pokemon either by Knocking Off their items, fishing for burns or simply using Toxic. Recover is useful in case I have to stall off a threat until they succumb to poison. He pairs very well with Weavile and Landorus as they can come out to receive powerful moves that can cripple him such as Future Sights (provided Weavile isn't put in danger afterwards), Earthquake from Garchomp or Excadrill or Thunderbolts from Koko or opposing Regieleki.

Regieleki @ Choice Specs
Ability: Transistor
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Rapid Spin
- Swift

While not the most reliable way to get rid of hazard due to its frailty, I lacked reliable special moves outside of Slowking so I opted for Regieleki, which also has Volt Switch to quickly pivot into something else. Ground types are obviously a problem but with the plethora of Ice, Grass and Water moves in the team, it's not as big a problem as I initially feared. With its inhuman speed tier, Regieleki can outspeed some scarf sets with ease and blast them into oblivion with Specs + Transistor-boosted Thunderbolts or Volt Switches. And of course, if I find myself against an opposing wall that doesn't particularly threaten me, I can opt for Rapid Spin should it be needed.

Hey there! I must say for a "low" ladder player you're really good at teambuilding! There are only 2 notable changes that I would make to your team!

Major Changes
:Regieleki: -> :Tapu Koko:
Regieleki is a rather poor pivot since it can't keep up momentum consistently because it always invites in the ground types so I went with Tapu Koko. What Tapu Koko has over Regieleki is U-turn and Roost. With U-turn you don't have to constantly worry about a ground type coming in and with Roost you can stay healthy throughout the match and have much more longevity than Regieleki.

:Toxapex: -> :Corviknight:
Your team doesn't have a Good Rillaboom switch in so I went with Corviknight. Corviknight can check Rillaboom as well as keep up momentum so you can get your hard hitting Pokémon more safely on the field and on top of that it's also an amazing Hazard removal so you don't have to worry about your Weavile taking 25% of its health every time it comes in.

Here's the updated team: https://pokepast.es/65007c9b393dc2e3
I hope the changes do well for you :)

Thanks, I feel like watching innumerable battles online helped me out!

I'll definitely try out those changes! I absolutely agree with replacing Regieleki with Tapu Koko. And having another Ground immunity and a reliable Rillaboom check in Corviknight sure sounds like something I'd like.

I like your team, even tho I'll put shed shell on pex to not be trapped by tran, or remove scald on glowking & put earthquake
