First RMT here.

Since this is my first real post on Smogon, I decided to introduce myself with an RMT. Feel free to give suggestions and such on movesets and pokemon. Note- Its leaning towards offence.

Ok, shall we begin?

Jolteonback.png

Jolteon-Leftovers
252 Speed/252 SpAtk/6 HP
Volt Absorb/Timid

Moves-
Thunderbolt
HP Ice
Baton Pass
Substitute

Jolteon is just awesome. Volt Absorb,130 Base Speed, 110 base Special Attack, and SubPassing to Salamence,Mismagius,Gyarados can open doors to some fast sweeps.

Mismagius-1.png

Mismagius-Leftovers
116 HP/252 Speed/140 SpAtk
Levitate/Timid

Moves-
Shadow Ball
HP Fighting
Calm Mind
Will O Wisp

CM Mismagius is a beast, I usually pass a sub pass to her on an expected EQ and start getting some CM's in. WoW shuts down Weaviles and makes Mismagius even harder to take down. Ghost and Fighting hits everything, so Mismagius will surely pull her weight for the team.

Hairiyama-1.png

Hariyama-Leftovers
76 HP/180 Atk/252 Def
Thick Fat/Impish

Moves-
Knock Off
Cross Chop
Thunder Punch
Ice Punch

The other bulky brawler. Hariyama has a hard time competing for a team slot with the addition of No Guard to Machamps arsenal, but Hariyama has some awesome selling points worth noting. Thick Fat lets him switch in on Heatran's fire attacks and Glaceons Ice Beams, a big physical movepool, and Knock Off is just Icing on the cake.

Salamenceback.png

Salamence-Choice Specs
252 SpAtk/252 Spe/6 HP
Intimidate/Modest (Timid?)

Moves-
Draco Meteor
Fire Blast/Flamethrower
Hydro Pump
Dragon Pulse

I got sal pretty much covered with Hariyama taking Ice Beams and Stone Edges, and Claydol clearing up rocks. So he'll be around to flatten villages and crush enemies.

Gyaradosback.png

Gyarados-Leftovers
252 Atk/184 Speed/72 HP
Intimidate/Adamant

Moves-
Waterfall
Ice Fang
Earthquake
Dragon Dance

My other monster, that hits on the other side of the damage spectrum just as hard, I got him covered too. Claydol spins away rocks, Hariyama takes Stone Edges, Jolteon absorbs Thunderbolt.

ClaydolBack.png

Claydol-Leftovers
252 HP/120 SpAtk/136 SpDef
Levitate/Relaxed

Moves-
Rapid Spin
Stealth Rock
Ice Beam
Earth Power

The Basic Supporter of the team, he doesnt live that long. But he always manages to his job.

No, I'd rather use Substitute or Thunder Wave over that last spot on Mismagius, Will-O-Wisp won't do any good, cause first of all, should you not have a Sub Up, the whole point is moot and you could've just Hidden Power the Weavile anyways. And if you did, Thunder Wave will just mass fuck things and you don't have to worry about the lack of accuracy.

I'd also replace Hariyama, with perhaps Jirachi. It still resists Ice and Rock, but more importantly, it can Wish, which also makes up for the lack of Heatran coverage cause now you can switch in with Gyarados. Not to mention, it'll keep Claydol around longer. Jirachi can also spam 60% Paralyzing Body Slams which just helps out the team even more.

I'd also probably go with the Bulky Gyarados spread, as this team might need it to help ward off the Heracrosses and Infernapes of the world!

Thankyou for replying,

I like the Jirachi idea so I might try that, but wouldnt that leave me with a giant Dark/Ghost weakness?

Maybe I could put Force Palm on Hariyama for Paralysis support.

Jirachi is part steel, and as such isn't weak to Dark or Ghost... it's OK, use it. Wish can help your Mence out a lot : )

Alright, but it will be a little harder to take down T-Tar and Gyara.

I dont know, what would be a better replacement, Mismagius for CM Jirachi, or Physical Jirachi for Hariyama.

Mismagius is good, personally. But really, it needs SUBSTITUTE really badly. Anyways, where did you get those sweet sprites!

oh lol, Pokesho of course.

Also, if I replace Hariyama, i'll only be hitting one side of the damage spectrum really, and I wont have much to go up against Gyarados and Tyranitar. So I might repalce Mismagius, with CMWish Jirachi. Im gonna miss mismagius :(

Good Point but what if hariyama dies and they still have a 30% health tar against your claydol? Earthquake kos but earth power wouln't. Plus it helps with a lot of other things. Just trust me.

Ok I just thought of a way to fit in Jirachi, have a rapid spinner, and a physical attacker.

I replace Hariyama with Hitmontop and Claydol with Jirachi.

So now I'll be hitting both sides of the metegame, along with Wish support, and rapid spin support. How about that?

Actually that seems it might work and hariyama makes an even better tar and lucario counter. Try it out and tell us how it works out.
