First RMT (Hopefully its good)

Hi everyone well this is my first RMT that i have posted on Smogon. I've tested this team a lot and say it it very successful. Out of about 30 games i think i lost 4. Anyway i've come here to seek advice to make it better and hopefully you guys can do just that. Thanks in advance. Anyway heres the team...

--------------------------------------------------------------
The Lead
1heatran.jpg

Heatran @ Shuca Berry
Timid
EVs: 252 Spe/252 SpA/4 HP
~Stealth Rock
~Earth Power
~Fire Blast
~Hidden Power Grass

Role: I wanted a lead that could deal with todays top leads which are metagross, swampert, machamp (you guys must be sick of this opening statement). With heatran is i see any of those leads or a taunt lead i open up with an attack thats super effective. If its anything else i'll SR and bounce. I didnt want explosion because im not a fan of killing my own pokemon. Fire blast is very important in killing steels and just providing a strong STAB to those who i dont have a super effective move for. Earthpower is for lead apes and mostly tyranitars and other heatrans. HP Grass is to kill those annoying ass swamperts. usually its a OHKO. Heatran gives my team a 1-0 start to most matches.

The Wish Passer

Vaporeon @ Leftovers
Bold
EVs:
188 HP/252 Def/70 Spd
~Hidden Power Electric
~Surf
~Wish
~Protect

Role: Standard wish pass set. Gyarados is a huge problem for this team and with this vaporeon he is easily killed. With swampert killed by heatran, vaporeon is able to kill all other bulky waters that i would usually have no answers for. With this wish set im able to pass hp to my other teammates that lack recovery moves. HP electric is for bulky waters and flying types that i sometimes face. Surf helps with ground and fire types that can also hurt my team. This thing is a tank and is rarely ever killed.

First Revenge Killer
jirachi.gif

Jirachi @ Choice Scarf
Jolly
EVs: 82 HP/252 Atk/176 Spe
~Iron Head
~Fire Punch
~Ice Punch
~Trick

Role: Ice punch is to revenge kill salamence and flygons. Fire punch is to kill lucario and scizor and other steel types. Iron head is for STAB. The 60% flich rate is pretty nice as most people get so mad that i flinched their poke to death. I've won a couple games based on that fact. Trick is pretty fun to screw with walls and pokemon that are really slow like scizor. It allow me to support my team be crippling walls that could annoy some of my pokes.

Second Revenge Killer

Machamp @ Leftovers
Adamant
EVs: 252 HP/128 Atk/128 Spe
~Bulk Up
~Dynamic Punch
~Payback
~Stone Edge

Role: This is my second revenge killer/stat upper. After 2-3 Bulk Ups this thing is a tank. Machamp is able to kill steels and flying types that could kill other members. He also is a good blissey counter as it can wall some of my pokes. I had hipmontop before this but machamp was just more stronger. Payback is for gangar and other ghost types and also latias. Since no-one uses flying or psychic moves that much he usually stays around for a long time.
The Wall
LatiasShiny.png

Latias @ Leftovers
Timid
EVs: 252 Spe/252 SpA/4 HP
~Dragon Pulse
~Substitute
~Recover
~Calm Mind

Role: With this set latias can act as a wall and sweeper. I usually calm mind as soon as i send it in and then sub so it is almost unbreakable. I recover off the damage caused by the sub and anything that i had taken before i sub. Dragon pulse provides excellent coverage and kills everything except steels. Because im seeing more and more mixmences this my primary dragon counter. This set is pretty self-explanatory.

The Wall Breaker
salamence_2.jpg

Salamence @ Life Orb
Naive
EVs: 16 Atk/252 Spe/240 SpA
~Draco Meteor
~Outrage
~Flamethrower
~Earthquake

Role: Still the best wall breaker in the game. This set deals so much havoc its crazy. With DM and Outrage i usually kill about 1-2 pokes a game. Flamethrower and earthquake kill all steels and dragon moves kill everything else. EV'd so i can tie with other max salamences and 100 base speed pokes. Salamence can allow my other pokes to sweep my opening up holes in my opponents team. This is the best set i have ever used on this team.

Options:
~thinking of changing sub to roar on latias.

Keep the Sub on Latias otherwise T-tar can kill you pretty easily.
This team is pretty Good authough I can see slight issues with Magnetzone trapping Jirachi and therefore making you team lose to faster threats.
Offensive Suicune causes you some slight problems as well.

This team is quite finely balenced so i am worried that if I replace a member the tea will fall apart as it depends lot on individual team members checking different threats. However I would like to suggest Bulky Up Machamp over Hitmonop as it hits harder and with No Guard Stone Edge wil not miss, its largely a cosmetic change though.

Overall, Great Team

have a Nice Day!

actually Heatran fair O.K vs Azelf and Aerodactyl. Any smart user of Shuca Heatran would know to attack vs Azelf and Aerodactyl as they both carry Taunt and outspeed Heatran. If they use taunt, great, as you can not KO them while they Set up SR. if they SR sraight up the same applies since explosion from azelf does not KO heatran and Aerodactyl's earthquake does not KO with Shuca protection. Sure is annoying not to get SR up first turn but i don't think a scarf is really nessery

Yeah ive been thinking of using Machamp as the confusion can help my team. the only thing stoping me is that he is frail. Also feel free to suggest anything i can always edit my team to check different pokes.

Bump

Machamp is actually surprisingly bulky - 90/80/85 defenses are by no means frail and certainly rival Hitmontop's 50/95/110. Moreover, Champ has a much higher Attack stat and can really hurt things with STAB DynamicPunch - the confusion allows it to set up more Bulk Ups, too.

Lol, I'll give it a try. I noticed that scarf leads are bothering you. Just use Magma storm over fire blast. If you don't know the move, it has the same power and hit rate, but does an additional 6% damage every turn for a few turns after hitting. In other words: THE SASH GETS BROKEN AND THE BITCH DIES! :D

I wouldn't change sub for roar on Latias unless you need something to phaze baton pass teams.

Overall, you have a solid team. Not too original. Nothing that noteworthy.

Nice team. I do suggest running max speed on Jirachi to outspeed +Spe DD Mences. Also, try running Sub + 3 attacks on Machamp. A Bulk Up set isn't really all that good considering the multitude of Rotoms, Brelooms and to a lesser extent Gengars that can put you to sleep or burn you.

Machamp@Leftovers
244 HP/ 252 Atk/ 12 Spe
-Substitute
-Payback
-Dynamicpunch
-Stone Edge

252 EVS in Atk to give Machamp the power to plow through teams, 244 in HP for extra survivability and 12 in Spe just to make sure you move ahead of other Machamps and avoid speed ties and such. Besides from that, i see nothing wrong, I guess. :)

Good Luck. :)

I've been using heatran lead a lot recently, and my team is quite similar to yours. Have you considered changing his nature to modest? You get a massive increase in power, and still outspeed swampert, metagross amd machamp, dealing significantly more damage to them. Also, you said earth power is for infernape... Don't do it. He outspeeds and ohkos you, so just switch. Overall nice team.
FORZA ITALIA!

heatran hasn't a good match up with gliscor, who in my opinion is the most common lead. Jirachi doesn't need ice punch, salamence must be killed with iron head, use thunderpunch and change vaporeon's hp electric in roar/toxic/ice beam.
Machamp can't sweep without paralysis, and those latias can be killed too much easily by ttar. Wish help you to recover health for Salamence, but try to use old mixmence, stealth rock is a pane in the ass.

"Just use Magma storm over fire blast. If you don't know the move, it has the same power and hit rate, but does an additional 6% damage every turn for a few turns after hitting."

Magmas Storm has 70% accuracy while Fire Blast has 85%. 70% is wayy to shaky for a STAB move.
