Hi, this is my first RMT i've done and i am inexperienced at this game but love playing and watching it. I chose UU because in my opinion it has the coolest pokemon without the frustrating ones, and i can use some lower tiers that i like quite well also.
Nimbus (Tornadus) (M) @ Flying Gem
Trait: Prankster
EVs: 252 ATK / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Bulk Up
- Acrobatics
- Superpower
-Taunt Substitute
Sub over taunt is useful as a lot of the time people switch on seeing this guy, however i don't get much chance to use bulk up and the damage he does is sadly limited. Wish i could use rain efficiently, i should try again sometime. I like to keep the speed, although i have trick room on this team i don't plan on using it 24/7 so its nice being able to use Tornadous to keep up.
Azumarill @ Choice Band
Trait: Huge Power
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Spd / 4 SDef / 4 Def / 244 HP
Adamant Nature
- Waterfall
- Aqua Jet
- Return
- Ice Punch
This little thing has been so fun to use the pure POWER, priority is something really scary which forces some switches, which then waterfall or a nicely timed return really hurts almost everything. When i played vs this it always hit more than i expected and its lived up to my expectations so far.
Snorlax @ Leftovers
Trait: Thick Fat
EVs: 176 SDef / 80 HP / 252 Atk
Adamant Nature
- Body Slam
- Earthquake
- Pursuit
- Fire Punch
Sometimes i think about using rest on this for some recovery but i really don't trust randomness of sleep talk. Fire punch isnt usually expected and has netted a few surprise kills. I also like have a pursuit trapper for extra coverage and another surprise. Ive thought about using choice band for the extra power, but being able to switch moves is something that i feel really helps this snorlax. I also wanted to try expert belt because the things im using the attacks on (persuit, firepunch) are usually weak to that and the extra damage cant hurt (can it?), however i feel even the small restoration of leftovers helps
Cofagrigus @ Leftovers
Trait: Mummy
EVs: 8 SDef / 248 HP / 252 Def
Quiet Nature
IVs: 2 Spd / 2 HP / 30 Def / 30 SAtk / 30 SDef
- Shadow Ball
- Hidden Power [Fighting]
- Nasty Plot
- Trick Room
I wanted to have some sort of spin blocker and also needed a special attacker i saw this box which reminded me of how annoying trick room is, some times i have chance to use it which kind of works with this team as some members are slower than the average UU pokes.
Roserade @ Black Sludge
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 16 Spd / 240 SDef
Calm Nature
-Toxic Spikes
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Rest
I wanted to be able to have some sort of spiker an roserade stood out because i could use toxic spikes to spread status around as non of my team carry 100% status. Giga drain helps alot against bulky water types and grounds, and sludge bomb can take out other grass. However there are lots of poison types around that ruin my little plan :( which makes me wonder how switching it to normal spikes would work.Nidoqueen/king is in every team so spikes are working better atm. I tried synthesis but in most cases i liked rest being able to heal back up to full.
Nidoqueen (F) @ Black Sludge
Trait: Sheer Force
EVs: 252 HP / 232 Def / 24 Spd
Bold Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earth Power
- Ice Beam
- Roar
Nidoqueen is here because it can do everything Nidoking can, but with slightly more bulk. I wanted to be able to set up more hazards and at times possibly switch the play around with roar, especially past subs.
I find that i have alot of problems with Umbreon and also getting burned, and ice is a huge threat to my team. This has been my most successful team so far and im trying to learn to make better teams. If you have any suggestions please post.
