First RMT: Kamakazi Team Of Epic Win

The idea: I always thought perish song on their last poke was a good idea, as I have thought for many years. So this team's goal is to achieve that through suiciding down to 2-1 me and perish singing.

So,
At A Glance:
(sorry no pictures)
Azelf
Tyranitar
Celebi
Gengar
Metagross
Cresselia

An In-Depth Look
The lead:
Bast The Azelf@Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
Nature:Lonely
Ev's: 152ATK, 252Sp.A, 100Spe
-Explosion
-Fire Blast
-Psychic
-Trick

I know what your thinking, 100Spe and a scarf on a pokemon with a base stat of 120Spe? Well, the first problem is that i don't like getting hit a lot with this team, i wouldn't have run Scarf if it weren't for scarf Jirachi running rampant, and the occasional Aerodactyl. But also this thing is a great revenge killer later, i love roar, but this team doesn't have it, so +2 +2gyara gets killed with explosion, or if i predict DD Trick. fire blast is for steels that resist the great Kaboom and psychic is for STAB and Roserade. this thing so far has always gotten me 1 kill per battle minimum.

The Steel

MetaMonster the Metagross@ Choice Band?
Ability: Clear Body
Nature:Adamant
Ev's: 252ATK, 104HP, 152SPE
-Bullet Punch
-Meteor Mash
-EarthQuake?
-Explosion

CB mash hurts like hell, and in ten battles I have never used it. I use bullet Punch to revenge kill stuff from 30-40% down. if they have 2 pokes left and I have 3 or if Metagross will die I blow up unless they resist this but not another move. this thing has a pretty simple strategy and is not very subtle at all. however, Once again, I'm bad at Item choosing, but I really think LO would be better because, while CB has better livability, this thing blows up anyway, which lowers survivability even more IMO. Also, since it's CB, should I scratch EQ for SE?

The Ghost

NoSpinZone the Gengar@Focus Sash?
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Lonely
Ev's: 152ATK, 252Spe, 104Sp.A
-Destiny Bond
-Explosion
-Shadow Ball
-Focus Blast?

I know what your thinking again-- why D-bond and Kaboom? and its because of Steels and Rocks and physical walls. (and sashers) but my only question is whether or not I should replace FB with T-bolt. most of the time i blow up. Also, I'm thinking of replacing sash with the homemade angora scarf my mom made, the reason being that i always need to go first because and because the fact that this team has no spinner and it has SandStream, and My T-tar generally goes into the fray before this, and also if someone has a really reasonable argument for another Exploder, I'll take it deeply into consideration.

The Speed

Speedy the Tyranitar@ Choice Scarf
Ability: SandStream
Nature: Hasty
Ev's: 252ATK, 252SPE, 4HP
-Rock Slide
-Crunch
-EarthQuake
-Dragon Claw?

This. Thing. Is. A. Beast. ScarfTar was the greatest invention ever. 364Spe Outspeeds even Max speed Starmie. Originally the only reason I got T-tar was cause Sash screws Explosion over. Originally this was a Boa, but that doesn't help team synergy, this thing is great for suprise. Dragon Claw is better Ice beam for dragons, and rock Slide over Stone Edge is cause flinch is so helpful. Often gets 2-3 kills. But Really, I don't want you to Question this cause unless you have a reason to recommend something not Special To replace Dragon claw. Sorry for the short review.

The Bulk

SpaceDuck The Cresselia?@Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Bold
Ev's: 152DEF, 100Sp.D, and 252HP
-Ice Beam
-Lunar Dance
-MoonLight
-Thunder Wave?

Lunar Dance is to heal Metagross or T-tar, Ice Beam lets me Kill dragons. however, I think that I should replace Moonlight with calm mind. T-wave Is nice, but Toxic Might be better? And also, Since Lunar Dance doesn't Revive pokes, I really Think another boomer is good, but if their last poke Can kill Celebi, (i.e Scizor En Co.) Cress is good backup. I think Bronzong with a heavy Investment in ATK is what I need (I.e. I will give it Light Clay, Dual Screens and And... KABOOM) However, Occasionally, Lunar Dance is good for helping T-tar from 30+ HP.

The Suicide

Celobi The Celebi@leftovers
Ability: natural cure
Nature: bold
Ev's:252HP, 120DEF, 136Sp.D
-Energy Ball
-Heal bell?
-Perish Song
-Recover

When I'm 2-1, i send him out, perish song and recover until game. Simple. also, He's good for Swampert Killing, and with the rock types that give this team coverage. and since this pokemon comes out lategame I think Protect for stalling might be better. um, I can't find anything more for me to say about this guy.

Starmie: Speedy

Togekiss: Speedy

Weavile: Speedy

Yamega: tinted specs is really bad but... SPEEDY

Zapdos: Speedy

That's all folks.

I like the members individually, but having 4 pokes weak to dark and 4 pokes weak to bug seems like an unfortunate mistake. SD Sczior will rip through this team, 2HKOing your Metagross which is the only reliable counter I think you have. Not to mention the mass u-turning and pursuit trapping that goes on in this metagame. At the very least I think you should throw HP Fire on either Celebi or Cresselia, something that is faster and can stop a Scizor sweep cold so long as it wont fall to a Bullet Punch. Additionally, Grass Knot is generally surperior to Energy Ball, hitting everything but Vaporeon harder I think (in OU)

As far as Gengar goes, Id say TBolt over Focus Blast if you want to keep him. Otherwise if youre wanting an exploder Id recommend a Forretress as he resists those aforementioned bug and dark moves and can lay down some stealth rocks that help your choiced pokes sweep. Just some cursory thoughts :) How much have you tested the team so far?

Hello there. At the moment your team is a little haphazard and has little to no strategy, or at least sole strategy. Right now, all you've got to bank on is that you want your team offensive in nature. Right now you've got Tyranitar and Gengar, both of which who benefit from Scizor being taken out of the match. If you're successfully able to do that, odds are you'll be able to pull off a sweep. Additionally, since you have Cresselia, taking out Scizor over the course of the match will be ten times easier.

To start, let's take a gander at your lead. I don't really see the point in a Choice Scarf user in your team, let alone lead. Let's make this a more standard set and give it Psychic, Fire Blast, Stealth Rock, and Explosion. Obviously you're going to max the Special Attack and Speed while giving it a Naive nature. There is really no point in using Taunt, as you have no weakness to Stealth Rock on your team. The only downside to using this edit is that you won't have a solid revenge killer for the latter part of your matches. However, you shouldn't really need one, as the point of an offensive team is to not allow the opponent to setup.

If you plan on keeping this team in the offensive mode, I would suggest that you take all Choice items off, unless you plan on sweeping with said Pokemon. Therefore, I'd highly recommend you switch Metagross to the over so common Agility Metagross. With this change, you'll have more flexibility with how you pick your moves and predicting around teams will be that much easier. I really see no downside in this edit because if you were to be locked into a previously used move with the Choice Band, the opponent could just easily setup a Dragon Dance or any setup move to easily sweep you. Placing a Choice Scarf on a Pokemon is stupid if your sole reason is to revenge kill stat-uppers. The idea is to stop the problem from the core, not attempt to fix it.

I love seeing Gengar on your team, but you must remember why it should be placed on your team. You should be capitalizing on the fact that Scizor might not be in the match by the time you bring this Pokemon in. So using this logic, I'd switch your current variant to a more offensive minded one. Give Gengar a Hasty nature and max both Special Attack and Speed. For the move-set, I'd recommend Shadow Ball, Explosion, Focus Blast, and either Hypnosis, Thunderbolt or Hidden Power Fire. In choosing between the last three, it's really just personal opinion, but make sure you look at the needs of your team before making an irrational decision.

As your main star of the show, Tyranitar, it should be baiting Scizor and successfully removing it from the match. The only way it can possibly do this is with the Babiri Berry. Make sure to max out the Speed and Attack, while giving it an Adamant nature. For the move-set, go with Dragon Dance, Crunch, Stone Edge, and lastly Fire Punch. Fire Punch and Babiri Berry will be the core of this set, as then you'll be able to easily lure and kill Scizor. With Scizor gone, Gengar and Salamence (will suggest later) will have a much easier time sweeping. Also, since you have Cresselia, Tyranitar will also have two chances to make its sweep, since most teams only have one counter to Tyranitar (most of the time being Scizor).

You have the basic idea for your Cressilia set, but you had some issues with exactly pinpointing the exact set you wanted, so here it is:

Cresselia (F) @ Light Clay
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/4 Def/252 Spd
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Lunar Dance
- Reflect
- Light Screen
- Psychic

The basic idea is just to let Tyranitar do its thing with Scizor, and then have Cressilia come in to setup screens and Lunar Dance to get Tyranitar back to full health. You also stated in your threat list that you said you might have some issues with Breloom, so you'll be happy to find out that Psychic OHKOs it.

Lastly, I'd highly suggest you switch Celebi for Salamence, as currently it has no role. In an offensive team, Celebi doesn't really have a rightful place, and saving it solely for Swampert is absurd. For the set, just make it a Dragon Dance or Mix set. With this change, you should still have good flexibility with defensive synergy, and a huge boost in offense for when you need to tear down some walls.

Enjoy the team!
