ORAS OU First RMT OU Mega-Venu

Hello. My name is Uwoodz03. I am a very active Tournaments Room player and have played in almost every meta. I usually use sample teams and do pretty well and i decided that i would start to make my own teams. So my first team that I decided to make was OU with Mega-Venusuar. Please be as harsh on the team as you want.

Mega Venu.jpg
First up is Mega-Venusuar:
Venusaur-Mega @ Venusaurite
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 96 HP / 160 Def / 252 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Sludge Bomb
- Giga Drain
- Synthesis
- Leech Seed

I chose Mega-Venusuar because I don't really use it much and I wanted to try it out. Starting with the FGW Core With is amazing ability of Thick Fat, it can eat up Fire and Ice moves while dishing out damage. The EV Spread is pretty standard maxing out SpA for max damage while having that Def Bulk and 0 Atk for Minimum Foul Play damage.

Heatran.jpg
Next up in the FGW Core is Heatran:
Heatran @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Fire Blast
- Flash Cannon
- Earth Power
- Dragon Pulse/Ancient Power

Scarf-Heatran...Nuff said. But I will explain. Nobody expects a Scarf Heatran and it throws so many people off because he can OHKO almost anything. Fire Blast for STAB against Ice and Grass. Flash Cannon for STAB against those Pesky Fairy's Earth Power for other Heatran's and Dragon Pulse for coverage. I go back and forth between Dragon Pulse and Ancient Power for Flying Types.

Jellicent.jpg
And the last in my FGW core is Jellicent:
Jellicent @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Toxic
- Recover
- Energy Ball
- Scald

I chose Jellicent because it is a monster. It has water absorb incase i get trapped on a move against a threat for heatran and I can heal up. Toxic/Recover pretty standard stall. Scald for burn chance and Energy ball for other water types if venu goes down, and its kinda unexpected.

Ok...so now that we have the FGW core down. Lets finish the team.
Chansey.jpg
Chansey (F) @ Eviolite
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
- Wish
- Protect
- Thunder Wave
- Seismic Toss

After the FGW core i realize i was lacking some SpD and a Healer. And the first pokemon that comes to mind is the most annoying pokemon in OU imo. Chansey. Very standard set so I dont need to explain it. Take Special Hits, Heal team.

While Rocks doesn't really hurt my team much, i didn't want to leave my team weak to Hazard set up.
Latias.jpg
Latias (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 72 HP / 184 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Defog
- Roost
- Psyshock
- Draco Meteor

I absolutely love Latias. And it loves me too. I think. Roost for Health after Life Orb starts to take its toll or a switch-in gone wrong. Defog for Hazard Release. Psyshock for Poison/Fighting types (usually have horrid Def's) and Draco Meteor for Monstrous Stab.

And the last poke in my team is for Dragon coverage.
Clefable.jpg
Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Stealth Rock
- Soft-Boiled
- Heal Bell
- Moonblast

Immunity to Dragon/Hazards/Status (except T-Wave) is a great thing. Fairy's are an amazing typing and Clefable getting Fairy typing made it a monster. My Stealth Rock setter because it can take a hit very well. Soft-Boil for Health. and Of Course the CM/Moonblast combo.

Like I said above, please dont take it easy on my Team. If you have suggestions, please tell them to me. I appreciate you viewing my RMT and for all your suggestion.

Alright it all looks fairly decent in my opinion, my only pet-peeve is that you have considerably no stop/check/counter to bisharp, even defensive mega venu doesn't appreciate a +2,3,4 Iron Head. I suppose Heatran is somewhat of a check, if you sack something, but even then you're risking the game on a Fire Blast hit/miss, unless of course Earth power can knock it out. Personally I prefer the Overheat Heatran, but that's up to you. And for your cleffable set, I'd recommend taking off Calm Mind, and replacing with Heal Bell as for a general cleric, or since you have Chansey you could run Thunder Wave/Toxic.

its very hard to counter bisharp, only reliable way to deal with it is burning it or killing it before it sets up an sd
