The main reason I built this team was to abuse Victini's V-Create but still have a decently balanced team. Most of these pokes are just ones I really like.
Haxorus
Ability: Mold Breaker
Nature: Adamant
Item: Lum Berry
-Dragon Dance
-Outrage
-Earthquake
-Rock Slide
252 Att/252 Spe/ 4 HP(or whatever you want)
Haxorus is such a monster when a dragon dance is set up. I do not know about other people that use Haxorus but almost everytime I play, players are using Gliscor to wall it, and it can but because Haxorus does not have a 4X weakness to ice it can live an ice fang and set up a dragon dance on the switch and the initial ice fang attack. After that an outrage will annihilate everything if not put a HUGE dent on it. On a side note, this is not my lead. Since PO has team preview I usually just predict what comes out.
I have also tried using life orb on Haxorus for the extra power, but I do not like getting stuck in confusion and having to retreat after my dragon dance boosts.
Conkelderp
Ability: Guts
Nature: Adamant
Item: Choice Band
-Drain Punch
-Mach Punch
-Stone Edge
-Payback
252 HP/252 Att/ 4 Spe
This guy is in here for the fact he is a hard hitter right off the bat. No one leaves a Tyranitar in on this guy (at least i hope not) and whoever switches in will have a huge surprise. Everyone uses the common bulk up set and I wanted to deviate a little bit and I do not see too many people using this guy, so I thought I'd give it a try and has been amazing. The only inconvenience that I have come across is that getting stuck onto one move with a Conkeldurr does suck a lot especially when the opponent sends in a ghost and you know you can knock it out with payback but have to switch.
Scizor
Ability: Technician
Nature: Adamant
Item: Life Orb
-Swords Dance
-Bullet Punch
-Pursuit
-Superpower
232 HP/ 252 Att/ 16 Sp def/ 8 Spe
Just the common SD Scizor. The EV spread is a little weird but it is just a personal preference. The 16 spdef EV's give it 200 spdef and the 8 spe EV's allow it to outspeed Scizors that do not have investment. Another thing you might notice is that I have no bug bite or u-turn. This is because I have found pursuit to be of better use. I use Scizor to trap Latios and Reuniclus'. Even though Latios and Reuniclus both lose to the bug moves, they can still retreat and I'd rather not have that. The superpower is there so I can knock out a wider variety of pokes such as Heatran or Magnezone.
Espeon
Ability: Magic Bounce
Nature: Timid
Item: Light Clay
-Reflect
-Light Screen
-Psyshock
-HP Fire
248 HP/40 Def/ 220 Spe
The dual screener of the team. This poke is really good in this gen since it got the Magic Bounce ability. Whenever I think that the opponent is going to use moves magic bounce can reflect, I will send it out and set up screens. Those stupid Ferrothorns never see it coming. The best thing about Espeon is that people send in Scizors against it thinking it can't do anything. Too bad the two super effective moves on Scizor require it to be faster than Espeon, so i just HP fire it to oblivion. Psyshock is to knock out special walls with low defenses. The dual screens also allow Scizor, Haxorus, Latios and Victini to set up.
Latios
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Timid
Item: Life Orb
-Calm Mind
-Recover
-Dragon Pulse
-HP Fire
252HP/252 Spe/ 4 SpAtk
My counter to Calm Mind Bulky Reuniclus. Scizor's pursuit is not strong enough to knock out the max defensive Reunilclus' and thats where this guy comes into play. He can set up calm mind for calm mind and its Dragon Pulse is not resisted whereas reuniclus usually carries Psychic and Focus Blast, both resisted by Latios. The EV spread adds bulk to Latios as it cal minds up. HP fire is for the steels that resist Dragon Pulse, most notably Ferrothorn. I am open to replacement for this guy in case he gets moved to Ubers, which he probably will.
Victini
Ability: Victory Star
Nature: Adamant
Item: Life Orb
-Trick Room
-V-Create
-Wild Charge (would be Fusion Bolt but don't know how to get it on PO)
-Zen Headbutt
252 HP/252 Att/4 SpDef (or whatever you like)
The star of this team. I cannot believe how powerful V-Create is. Even when resisted it deals a massive amount of damage. V-Create also works with trick room really well as it would be getting faster every time I use V-Create. If I set up trick room late game, I can probably knock out as many pokes as trick room lasts.
Conclusion: I have not really run into many variations of pokemon on PO, but I do have trouble with Ghost types, suc as Gengar. Scizor can knock it out but thats only if they send it out against me. Usually when I have an opportunity to send Scizor out, the Gengar is behind a substitute. Rain teams also give me trouble, especially the ones with Thundurus (basically every rain team).
The main goal of this team is to set up screens, weaken the opponents team as much as possible and then let Victini sweep. V-Create is seriously broken. A Latios, which resists, will be KO'ed even at 70% health, which I think is pretty impressive.
