Team Tyrants

As you know from my title, this is my first RMT ever. It would be nice to have some pointers, if I were to do the RMT in the wrong format. I have used this team quite often, and I feel quite comfortable with it.

Lead
Julius Freezer (Froslass) (F) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Snow Cloak
EVs: 4Hp 252Speed 252SAtk
Timid (+Spd, -Atk)
~Thunderbolt
~Shadowball
~Spikes
~Taunt
This set allows me to a variety of different strategies. If a Pokemon were to set up SR I would first taunt it. Against a trick Uxie, I would set up Spikes predicting trick, which would allow me to set-up three layers of spikes. If I were not tricked, I would be able to set-up at least two sets. I have Thunderbolt and Shadowball against leads with pursuit. I would be able to at least be able to cripple one pokemon before dying and set up one layer of spikes. Thunderbolt does great against Cloyster leads, which 2-HKOs him. Overall, Froslass is a stable lead, and mainly the only leads that wreck him are Pursuit-Ambipom and Guts Hariyama.
I named my froslass after Julius Caesar, because like Caesar, he is a great leader. (Freezer…haha)

Bulky PHazer
Tyrantitar (Venusaur) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Overgrow
EVs: 220Hp 252Def 36SDef
Calm (+SDef,-Atk)
~Energy Ball
~Roar
~Synthesis
~Sludgebomb
While browsing through some RMT’s this Pokemon caught huge attention to me. Without this crucial member on my team, I could easily get sweeped by any pokemon that got an SD. Usually Venusaur could be able to withstand two or three hits before dying, which makes it easy to PHaze when needed and to also heal itself efficiently. Not only can he wall and PHaze, he can deal some massive damage against pokemon and cripple them with ease. Energy Ball with STAB does good damage and Sludgebomb is another attack for the other pokemon that resist EnergyBall. Some problems I face are that Milotic walls me out and can Ice Beam.
I named him after “tyranitar”, I don’t know why I guess I ran out of ideas.

Tank, Spin Blocker, Setup-Fodder
Pol Pot (Spiritomb) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252Def 252SDef 4Spatk
Bold (+Def, -Atk)
~Pain Split
~Calm Mind
~Hidden Power Fighting
~Dark Pulse
This pokemon got my attention back then when I first started learning about Pokemon. I thought Spiritomb was terrible until it surprisingly sweeped my whole team. At first, when I started this team, I used a RestTalking Spiritomb with Calm Mind and Dark Pulse. But, many pokemon resisted dark moves, and Sleep Talk was really risky at times. Instead, I just went for a CM Spiritomb. This Spiritomb set is beastly, because he walls almost everything out, and is a great set-up fodder. At worse, Spiritomb is able to at least take out one Pokemon. Hidden Power is for Steel types that resist Dark. One problem I have is the other teams can set-up fodder easily against spiritomb if I did not set up yet. And Kangaskhan with Scrappy can always 2HKO, which is a pretty big problem.
I named him after the Tyrant Pol Pot because Spiritomb kinda looks like a pot.

Revenge-Killer, Physical Sweeper
Mao ZePwn (Azumarill) (M) @Choice Band
Abilitly: Huge Power
EVs: 252Atk 240HP 16Spd
Adamant (+Atk,-Spatk)
~Aqua Jet
~Waterfall
~Ice Punch
~Return
This is my replacement of my Life-Orb Arcanine, who just didn’t exceed my expectations. Arcanine had not great coverage, and and could get 1HKOed and 1HKOed easily before I could pull off a Morning Sun. Azumarill’s job is to Revenge kill with Aqua Jet, which is a priority move. He also has a secondary job, which is being able to sweep (especially in the later game). Azumarill wrecks everything in its path with the 654 Atk Stat. Waterfall has nice STAB damage, Ice Punch and Return are for predictable switches. Overall Azumarill hardly ever lets me down and he’s cute :D.
He is named after the Tyrant Mao ZeDong. Yea Pwn doesn’t rhyme, but bear with it cause I ran out of ideas.

Tank, Special Sweeper
Broseph Stalin (Slowbro) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Own Tempo
EVs: 252HP 252Def 4SDef
Bold (+Def, -Atk)
~Calm Mind
~Slack Off
~Fire Blast (Might Change to Focus Punch or Psychic)
~Surf
This guy is able to take almost a hit from anything any physical moves. CM will enable him to be almost indestructible and will hit back hard. Slack off is for healing, and Fire Blast is for the incoming Grass types who predicts Surf. Surf is a nice STAB move that would make a huge impact on the opposing team. After a couple of calm minds, Slowbro is able to impact anything that comes along its way. I might be planning a Focus Punch against Special Walls like Chansey and Clefable. Or I might change it to Psychic because it has nice STAB and pretty decent coverage.
Name is Self Explanatory

Special Wall, Cleric, Status Absorber
Adolf Healer (Chansey) (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252Def 252SDef 4 Spd
Calm (+Sdef, -Atk)
~Soft Boiled
~Toxic
~Stealth Rocks
~Aromatherapy
Chansey has a lot of jobs for my team. He is a Entry Hazarder, a Status Inducer, and heals Status’s. I took out Seismic Toss because I didn’t feel it was that effective as Aromatherapy. No Special Sweeper can get past Chansey, which is great. I am able to Toxic poison other pokemon from the opponents team, most likely a Physical sweeper. I chose Calm over Bold because Bold doesn’t really add that much more defense. Chansey also takes all status inducing moves because of its ability natural cure, which is nice.
Overall, I think this is a really solid team, but I feel its lacking some things. First off, I don’t have any Rock or Ground moves. I’m thinking of taking out Slowbro because I already have a nice tank, Spiritomb. I am missing Psychic moves too.
Thanks for reading this, I hope you got a laugh out of the lame nicknames and did not find them offensive. I hope you guys can help make my team more “pwnerific”
