Ive been playing a while, my ranking has been around 1400 with this team, for two reasons. If I'm tired I lose, and another. I'm not sure if my team is bad, or if I simply need more practice with the team.
Oh and First RMT is actually true, not just to get views/clicks/ratings
And i had images :( but copy/paste didn't work. (if i can edit posts i will edit them in)
Showdown username is :Planet2bob if you want to see my team in action.
Comments:
Hazards: SR is only good against 1 of my pokes (skarm usually dies early-game). Spikes effects 1 of my pokemon. Toxic spikes effects none. No rapid spinner needed. :D
Spinners: Gengar can spinblock blastoise (disable scald/surf), gengar OHKO's starmie, tentacruel usually only runs scald (disable), and fortress only runs gyro ball (disable) done.
Rain teams: Rotom W can shut down rain teams, swift swimmers all die to thunder wave from parashuffler dragonite. Gyarados can set up on the majority of rain sweepers, and proceed to sweep with boosted waterfall. Gengar shuts down many rain walls which only run scald. Slobro dies to shadow ball. Ludicolo is KO'd by brave bird and easily taken down by other pokes. Dragonite has many useful resists but ice beam is scary.
Sun teams: Heatran absorbs all fire moves. Gyarados runs earthquake and waterfall, while Rotom runs waterfall. Dragonite resists and can t-wave and shuffle most of the pokemon. Venusaur is phazed out by either skarms or dragonite, and also can't touch dragonite.
Heatran @ Air Balloon
Trait: Flash Fire
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 12 Spd / 252 HP / 92 SDef / 152 Def
Calm Nature
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Earth Power
- Flamethrower
- Stealth Rock

Heatran @ Air Balloon
Trait: Flash Fire
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 12 Spd / 252 HP / 92 SDef / 152 Def
Calm Nature
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Earth Power
- Flamethrower
- Stealth Rock
Flash fire is amazing. You know what it does. Hp ice kills dragons faster then dragon pulse, and has better super effective coverage. Earth power is to dispose of other heatrans lacking air balloon, and for ninetales, and fire sweepers. SR helps give residual damage, as there are two phazers on my team. Flamethrower (fire blast misses too much) gets STAB and flash fire bonus, as well as sun bonus sometimes (vs venusaur). I find Air Balloon much more helpful then leftovers, as it allows me to beat most opposing heatrans. 12 Speed allows me to outspeed other heatrans, even those which think, 4 speed should do it, (and the ones who want to outspeed those)

Dragonite @ Leftovers
Trait: Multiscale
EVs: 144 SDef / 252 HP / 112 Def
Careful Nature
IVs: 30 Atk / 30 SAtk / 30 Spd
- ExtremeSpeed
- Thunder Wave
- Dragon Tail
- Roost
Para shuffle. Revenge Killing, Resistances. Multiscale. Done. Oh wait, three lines minimum you say? Thunder wave cripples sweepers, and is useful for statusing everything, especially since there is no clause limiting it. Dragon Tail phazes and does decent damage to everything that isnt' steel. Extreme speed is to pick off weakened opponents, and for revenge killing. Roost activates multiscale, and gets rid of flyings pesky weaknesses. Its resistances are great for synergy with the other team members.

Gengar @ Black Sludge
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 HP / 4 Def
Timid Nature
- Disable
- Substitute
- Focus Blast
- Shadow Ball
Kills water stall, and usually kills at least one pokemon, guarenteed. Shadow ball and Focus blast do insane damage, and coverage, even w/o boosts. Gengar can switch in on its many immunities, fighting, ground, normal. Black sludge is for trickery. ;) Sub-disable gengar can be considered one of the most annoying pokemon in the game, as highlighted in a recent smog issue. Gengar is a helpful spinblocker, and as i highlighted in the spinblocking comment up there ^, it does a great job of making sure all my hazards don't get thrown away.

Gyarados @ Leftovers
Trait: Moxie
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Earthquake
- Ice Fang
Every team needs a set up sweeper. Switch in on a ground move or a water type. (any water type NOT rotom-w or lanturn for those of you who like to find exceptions) Gyarados and Moxie pair well, dd to outspeed everything, and sweep. All moves are for coverage. Surskit and shedinja are the only ones that resist everything. Dragon Dance once lets me beat thunderus-t with ease, and two even jolteon. Once the opposing team is battered enough by damage and hazards are up, this makes for a great late game sweeper.

Skarmory @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 232 Def / 252 HP / 24 Spd
Impish Nature
- Brave Bird
- Spikes
- Roost
- Whirlwind
My lead, its in this slot just to throw people off. If its a sun team, ill send this out then go to heatran w/ flash fire to absorb the will-o-wisp or flamethrower, and proceed to kill them. Sturdy guarantees two layers of spikes, whirlwind is for those times when they want to set up, and brave bird is so im not taunt bait and i can easily get some KOs off of grass+fighting types. Otherwise, its just standard skarmory, and it proves to work well, giving me a choice between using it to suicide and get a free switch, or save it to utilize its fabulous resistances later.

Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 244 SDef / 12 Def
Calm Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Reflect
Its an easy switch in, hydro pump for sun teams, thunderbolt for rain teams, and reflect for team support. So many resistances, are useful for countering sun and rain teams, as electric ruins waters, and water typing ruins fire types. I havent' used this for too long so i would be open to changing moves, but the resistances and sun and rain countering is invaluable. I could run t-wave, but thats dragonites job. Evs for special bulk, since reflect could be set up anyways. Rotom-W makes a great pivot, generating and maintaining momentum.
Please forgive my capitalization errors……
I know pokemon are proper nouns!!!
EV spreads are hard for me, usually i just slide those new sliderbars until they look nice ... as exemplified by my awkward evs.
Looks nice don't it?
