First RMT

This team is mainly designed to hit the opponent hard with powerful pokemon while not being dependent on one particular pokemon to sweep. Each member is designed to be able to take advantage of pokemon other members lure out. As I am not dependent on a particular sweeper I don't to worry about specific threats for one pokemon as much. Because I don't have a sweeper i can sometimes struggle to break through strong defenses because I can't boost my power. I'm not sure where I could fit a sweeper into my team as well. Any help on this and any other issues is appreciated.

Aerodactyl@ Focus Sash
Pressure
4HP/252Atk/252Spe
Jolly
-Taunt
-Stealth Rock
-Earthquake
-Rockslide

Standard Aero lead. Sets up SR straightaway and stops other leads from setting up. If it somehow survives the start then can be useful midgame to revenge stuff like Infernape and Heatran.

94.png

Gengar@ Life Orb
Levitate
4HP/252Spe/252SpA
Timid
-Substitute
-Pain Split
-Shadow Ball
-Focus Blast

Subsplit Gengar is a third of my main offensive core of it, Tyranitar and Magnezone. Its resistances and immunities allow it to come in on a lot and set up a sub. Behind this it has perfect coverage with its attacks and can also beat all forms of TTar. Pain Split is needed for healing sub and LO damage. It is especially useful against Blissey as a seismic toss Blissey can't hurt Gengar at all.

Tyranitar@ Choice Scarf
Sand Stream
4HP/252Atk/252Spe
Jolly
-Crunch
-Pursuit
-Stone Edge
-Earthquake

Second member of my core. TTar is used to beat a lot of fast threats such as Starmie and Gengar who can trouble the rest of my team. It can also beat Heatran which can cause problems for Magnezone and Gengar. The main problem is with a choice scarf it doesn't have the power to break through walls such as skarmory and even blissey. I have tried a choice band but the lack of speed was a problem.

462.png

Magnezone@ Leftovers
Magnet Pull
172HP/84Spe/252SpA
Rash
-Substitute
-Thunderbolt
-HP Grass
-Explosion

The third member of my core and steel checker. Magnezone makes sure random steels like Jirachi, Scizor and Skarmory don't stop my other hitters. It can also check other pokemon with its natural physical bulk. I have used it against swampert in a pinch but try not to have to do that. The choice of Hidden Power was a toss up between grass and ice.

330.png

Flygon@ Choice Scarf
Levitate
252Atk/252Spe/4SpD
Jolly
-Earthquake
-Outrage
-U-Turn
-Stone Edge

Flygon is my general purpose scout and revenge killer. Early in the match if I have a blind switch I go to Flygon so I can u-turn for this best match-up. Flygon is also my best revenge killer for DD Gyarados and Dragonite and Agiligross. It can also help lure in steels with its Outrage for magnezone to trap.

392.png

Infernape@ Life Orb
Blaze
64Atk/192Spe/252SpA
Naive
-Close Combat
-Fire Blast
-Grass Knot
-HP Ice

Infernape is my main wallbreaker and my best chance at late game sweeping. It can destroy most main defense cores such as skarmbliss and celetran. Its good coverage makes it a good check to most unboosted dragons as well. Because it is my only mixed attacker it my only real hope at beating stall and so is important to preserve against those teams.

Well it looks like a fairly standard team. However I see no reason why you are using an Aerodactyl as a lead. Aerodactly is usual used on team that have issues with SR or need SR up quickly. Your team has no real issues with Stealth Rock so I question the need for Aero on your team. I think that Lum berry Metagross can work well on this team and if you run Bullet Punch then you get an extra check to Gengar.

I don't really see how Scarf Tar is usefull for you. Sure its revengeing some fast threats but you will struggel to beat Gengar (since it will likely get a free Sub when you switch in) and Starmie is risky thanks you you having to worry about Hydro Pump. I don't like T-tar on this team (since Infernape hates sandstorm) but short of running scarf Scizor over it (which leaves you weak to Heatran) their is little option. However i do suggest dropping Magnezone for something like a Taunt Dos. This way you can break stall slightly better and you have a secondary Heatran check. Also scizor is not realy an issue since you can set up on it now rather than trapping it,

Hope I helped

have a Nice Day!

If ScarfTar isn't serving you well, why not try DDTar? Its a common threat to almost any standard teams, and its worth a try.

Tyranitar @Babiri Berry/Lum Berry
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Def
Moves:
- Dragon Dance
- Stone Edge/Rock Slide
- Crunch
- Fire Punch/Earthquake/Aqua Tail

Hope I helped. ^^

I reccomend D-dance Tar also. That core from the smog with Gengar/Ttar/Maggy is designed to help a D-Dance Tar sweep. but I reccomend a different set:

Shuca Berry Tyranitar

248.png

Tyranitar @ Shuca Berry
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly nature (+Spe, -SpA)
- Dragon Dance
- Ice Punch
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake

You dont need Babiri Berry since Maggy can trap any scizor with Bullet Punch. (as if you'd try and sweep if you knew Scizor was alive, lol)
Here's more info about ShucaTar:
Now more than ever, it seems like Tyranitar is always running Choice Scarf. When it has Dragon Dance in its arsenal, it’s easily checked. With this set, Tyranitar can defeat its usual checks, and proceed to sweep entire teams; it's notorious for defeating good players who do not prepare for it.

Being a bulky Pokémon, Tyranitar should have no problem switching in on a number of foes. Thus, it has numerous opportunities to use Dragon Dance, which turns it into a a deadly sweeper. Ice Punch is of great importance to the set, as it elimnates common Tyranitar switch-ins. With Salamence banished to Ubers, Flygon has seen a significant rise, and it is an extremely common Tyranitar check. Thanks to Shuca Berry, Tyranitar takes under 50% damage from Earthquake and OHKOs Flygon with Ice Punch. At this point, the rest of the team is easily sweepable since many teams only run one check to Tyranitar. Stone Edge is Tyranitar's main attack. Its power should not be underestimated; a +1 Stone Edge will 2HKO all but the most defensive of Skarmory after Stealth Rock takes its toll. The final move, Earthquake, pairs well with Tyranitar's other moves, letting it hit the Steel-type Pokémon who resist Rock and Ice for super effective damage.

The EVs make use of Tyranitar's offensive power and mitigate its lackluster speed. A Jolly nature is chosen to outspeed Starmie, who can hit Tyranitar for super effective damage. They also give it the jump on bulky-variant base 100 Pokémon who don't invest in Speed.

I reccomend Thunder Wave/Magnet Rise > Explosion on Magnezone. Magnet Rise could help you defeat Metagross and some others. Twave can cripple faster pokes to make it easier to set up with Tar. Also Hidden Power Ice instead of Grass. Grass only hits one poke, Swampert, which cant do much to you. Also, after Magnet Rising and Killing a steel, you can surprise kill a Gliscor or Flygon with HP Ice.

You are extremely weak to waters, with no resistances and 3 weaknesses. I reccomend a Bulky D-Dance Gyarados over Infernape. This also helps you deal with some pokes who give you trouble, Machamp, LO Weavile and Agility/SD Lucario (Which can Ohko everything on your team after setting up)

Stone Edge on Flygon is useless. Use Thunderpunch to revenge kill Gyarados after one Ddance, and an Agiligross after an agility.

The team looks quite good.
