first sandstorm team(OU RMT)
Hey, i've gotten pretty used to competitive battling but i don't know about my team building skills i decided to try and build a sandstorm team anyway. I've use this team already and it has won me a good number of wins and losses. So here it is.

Description
Tyranitar
nature: careful
item: focus sash
IVs: all perfect
EVs: 240 hp, 36att, 48def, 184sp.def
ability:sandstream
-Stealth rock
-taunt
-counter
-crunch
Tyranitar is my lead and he sets up everything for the team, sandstorm and stealth rock. Taunt is for leads like bronzong where i can just counter afterwards. Counter is for physical leads like hippowdon and bronzong again. Crunch is for pesky leads like azelf. he has focus sash because i wouled like to at least be able to take out one guy with counter and tyranitar has won me heaps of leads matchups just with counter.
Zapdos
nature: timid
item: leftovers
IVs: all perfect
EVs: 248hp, 184sp.def, 76speed
ability: pressure
-substitute
-roost
-thunderbolt
-toxic
Zapdos is my PP stall machine. He comes in on something he scares away and sets up a substitute he then toxics the next pokemon coming out if it is steel he thunderbolts it. Roost is to take of substitute damage and enemy attack damage and is essential for PP stalling. thunderbolt is a reliable stab and toxic mixes well in with PP stalling and sandstorm. Leftovers is to nullify the effects of sandstorm.
Gliscor
nature: jolly
item: life orb
IVs: all perfect
EVs: 252hp, 40att, 216 speed
ability: hyper cutter
-swords dance
-roost
-earthquake
-stone edge
Gliscor is used as a set-up sweeper and has gotten me out of many tough-spots. He can come in on nearly every physical attacker and choice pokemon and swords dance. Roost is there for recovery when he needs it. Earthquake is for STAB and hits rock fire and steel types hard. Stone edge works well with earthquake and the combination misses out on pokemon like bronzong and is walled by celebi. I like Delko's idea and i hated missing out on that OHKO on gyarados when he was holding yache berry and recently i don't see that much ice beams anymore.
Scizor
nature: adamant
item: choice band
IVs: all perfect
EVs: 248hp, 252att, 8speed
ability: technician
-bullet punch
-u-turn
-pursuit
-superpower
Who hasn't seen this guy running around. Its short and simple. Scizor is my physical sweeper and has won me many battles. Bullet punch is possibly the best move scizor has ever got. U-turn is for scouting pokemon. Pursuit is there for trapped pokemon like ghost and psychic types. Superpower is there for one big hit and coverage against steel pokemon. Choice band gets him up to 591 attack.
Heatran
nature: naive
item: choice scarf
IVs: all perfect
EVs: 4 attack, 252sp.att, 252speed
ability: flash fire
-overheat
-earth power
-explosion
-dragon pulse
Just like scizor, short and simple. He's another effective choice sweeper you see everywhere and is a great player for my team. Whenever a fire attack is aimed at scizor i can switch this guy in and get the boost. I like the idea of Overheat over flamethrower as it has near;y as much accuracy and is base 210 power including STAB and I don't worry about the -2 sp.att drop because i've got counters to his counters. Earth power says hello to rocks and fires. Explosion is when i want to explode on something or when im weak. Dragon pulse is there for dragons.
Empoleon
nature: modest
item: life orb
IVs: all perfect
EVs: 40hp, 252sp.att, 216speed
ability: torrent
-agility
-grass knot
-surf
-ice beam
Well i've tested him and what can i say... He's brilliant, much better than the petaya berry one.
I can finally get a good hit on both dragon and water types now that i have both ice beam and grass knot. The life orb makes up for the petaya berry and with this set most of the time im not as weak to priority moves as much as the SubPetaya set.
That is my team hope you enjoy it!!!
