First shot at a team

So hey, hows it goin? yea good...

i really feel like a lot of teams rely on their abilities so i thought "why not stop dem abilities"

so i started lookin into some pokemon that can do that for me.

low and behold, sweet egoraptor jesus gaveth unto me cofagrigus :v4:

warning: before I start, i just wanna say i have no idea what to do for ev's. i usually just do what showdown suggest....

here's my team right now

Cofagrigus @ Red Card
Ability: Mummy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
Modest Nature
- Pain Split
- Dark Pulse
- Shadow Ball
- Haze

the idea here is to switch in and infect one when they least expect it.(although I'm not sure if it works on aegislash but here's hoping)
red card is to provide the minimal damage control with pain split.
other moves are filler cuz idk what im doing....


Sigilyph @ Flame Orb
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SAtk / 252 SDef
Calm Nature
- Cosmic Power
- Stored Power
- Psycho Shift
- Roost

i know that mummy will infect my team not just the others, but i had an extra slot and no real attacker. plus sigy rekz all none dark pokes from my experience
if you guys can think of a replacement go ahead :D

Keldeo-Resolute @ Life Orb
Ability: Justified
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Hasty Nature
- Sacred Sword
- Scald
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Hydro Pump

i put on keldeo becuase sigilyph cant deal with dark types so if i switch in on a dark move, and im not mummified, i can retaliate with sacred but its really only to deal with the dark types. hp ice for gliscor and other thingies that can die to ice

Landorus-Therian (M) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Knock Off
- U-turn

Rocks, earthquake, dont lose much form mummy
nuff said

Talonflame @ Metronome
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Brave Bird
- Flare Blitz
- Roost
- U-turn

i know gale wings give me priority but i dont need it for the things i use talon flame for. metronome becuase im gonna be spamming. eh.... not much left to say

Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Impish Nature
- Power Whip
- Leech Seed
- Spikes
- Protect

i like ferrothorn becuase it lets me get spikes up and helps me get in last minute stalling becuase it helps :D
power whip for who else but quagsire


so that's my team.
i don't have defog or rapid spin so that's a problem
common enemies:
- electric types give me problem sometimes
- every now and then dark types wreck havok
- thats about it from what i've tested (61 wins - 11 loses)

any idea how to get around my entry hazard problem?

also ghost and psychic types give me a problem and once lando is gone, electric types rek hard

I'm open to swapping out Pokemon if I need to
 
Starmie and Excadrill both work as great offensive spinners. Since you have a problem with electric types, Excadrill would be the better way to go. Here is my recomended set.

Excadrill@ Life Orb/ Leftovers
Ability: Mold Breaker
Evs: 4 HP/ 252 Atk/ 252 Spd
-Rapid Spin
-Earthquake
-Rock Slide
-Iron Head

This set can help the team with rapid spin support but also threaten pokes such as rotom-w and weezing who rely on their levitate abilities to stop ground types. Rock slide hits flying types and iron head is secondary STAB as well as giving a chance to flinch.
