As the title says, this is my first time participating in online battling. I'm open to suggestions about any possible replacements.
EDIT: changed items on Dragonite and Reuniclus.
Infernape (M) @ Life Orb Trait: Blaze
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SAtk / 252 Spd
Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Overheat
- Close Combat
- U-turn
- Stone Edge
Summary: Infernape is my main sweeper. Close Combat and Stone Edge are his main attacks, and Overheat is for any physical walls he might run into to. U-turn serves to also make Infernape a good scout. Life Orb is there to increase Infernape's already strong attacks.
Rotom-W @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 112 HP / 252 SAtk / 144 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Thunderbolt
- Hydro Pump
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split
Summary: Rotom-W serves mainly to counter many of my team's weaknesses, like Water and Fire. Thunderbolt and Hydro Pump are it's main attacks while Will-O-Wisp cripples the foe's attack. Pain Split helps recover HP, along with Leftovers, and do some extra damage to the opponent.
Gliscor (M) @ Toxic Orb
Trait: Poison Heal
EVs: 252 HP / 184 Def / 72 Spd
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Taunt
- Stone Edge
Summary: Gliscor makes a great bulky sweeper on my team. He set up with Taunt and Swords Dance then proceeds to with Earthquake and Stone Edge. Poison Heal and Toxic Orb compliment is high HP, allowing him to last longer.
Dragonite (M) @ Lum Berry
Trait: Multiscale
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Outrage
- Fire Punch
- ExtremeSpeed
Summary: Dragonite is here as a counter to other dragon types (albeit risky) and also makes a great bulky sweeper. He sets up with Dragon Dance then destroys with Outrage. The Lum Berry cures the confusion caused by Outrage, or if I'm hit with a burn, etc. Fire Punch is for coverage against Ice Types, and ExtremeSpeed is for picking off low health or any faster foes.
Ferrothorn (M) @ Rocky Helmet
Trait: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 88 Def / 168 SDef
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Stealth Rock
- Leech Seed
- Power Whip
- Protect
Summary: Ferrothorn makes a great Stealth Rock user and wall on my team. Due to Leftovers already being held by Rotom-W, I gave him the rocky Helmet to compliment his ability, making him dangerous against physical sweepers. Protect allows him to recover a little health during a turn through Leech Seed without any worry.
Reuniclus (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Recover
- Psychic
- Focus Blast
Summary: Reuniclus serves as my main Fighting-type counter, and also makes a good bulky sweeper. He uses Calm Mind then attacks with either Psychic or Focus Blast (which is also a good Dark-Type counter). Recover and Leftovers allow him to last much longer, or use Calm Mind again for more damage.
