Hi demheals, what you're going to want to do when you post a team to be rated is first, identify which tier it belongs in. On this website (and in the vast majority of competitive play), pokemon are separated by "tiers", typically corresponding to their usefulness and prevelancy in the "metagame".

A team's tier is defined by the highest tier of an individual pokemon. In your case, you are using Mega Venusaur, and as such your team will be in the OU tier. There is a subforum for this.

If you can/do repost this thread, what you should do is complete the team on your own, then provide a short summary for the reasoning behind each inclusion. Why are you using Arcanine? Why Venusaur? etc. This will help people who are trying to rate the team point out where your logic is faulty, or help suggest alternatives.

If you need any more help there are plenty of people available, as well as a few rule threads and several other threads throughout the site that help both with team building itself and formatting of these types of threads.

Thanks for all the advice. I posted a new thread with a complete team on OU and I improved on it a bit. Not sure if it is everything I needed to do, but hopeful it helps those helping me now. Again, thank you.
