Its not all that great and i need a little help
Cloyster @ Life orb
EV spread:220 hp,104 atk, 180 Spa
Nature:quiet
Ability:shell armor
1.surf 2.ice shard
3.spikes 4. rapid spin
I thought this would be a good lead because it has slight anti-lead moves and has pretty good attacks. Ice shard and Surf are both really good STABs which gives the ability to good damage. I hard a hard time choosinf between this and Dweeble. I wanted a good lead but i didn't want the other guy to get a quick 5-6
Gliscor @ toxic orb
EV Spread:252 atk, 252 Sdef, 4 speed
Nature: adamant
Ability: poison heal
1.Earth quake 2.Swords dance
3.Stone edge 4.Baton pass
I chose this gliscor because wall like capabilities with some sweep traits. Stone edge is a goood STAB. Plus this helps eliminate weaknesses for my main sweep. An SD and STABbed Stone edge would take out many pokemon so thats where in belief it also becomes a sweep. but with baton pass, if its about to go out, the next pokemon coming gets a defense boost. i'd probably send in Snorlax and let him wall for a bit. Not really sure.
Zapdos @ Leftovers/Shellbell
Ev Spread:248 Hp, 228 Spd , 32 Spe
Nature:calm
Ability:Pressure
1.Thunderbolt 2.Roost
3.Light screen 4.t-wave/ hidden power-ice
I chose a Special defensive Zapdos because honestly i don't have the patience for a SubRoost to wear down High-pp attacks. went with light screen over heat wave just to give it more defensive capabilities. I've seen Many SubRoost zapdos go well in battle but, i like this setup much more. i can switch in on a baton pass, t-wave, roost, and then probably go for the STAB with Thunder bolt or setup for light screen. i like this one because it leaves me with a lot of options
Darmanitan @
EV Spread: 252 Atk, 4 Sdef, 252 Spe
Nature: adamant
Ability: sheer force
1. Flare blitz 2.Rock slide
3.u-turn 4.earthquake
My main sweep for this team. good attack decent speed makes it really good in my book. Chose earthquake to help cover some of its weaknesses. He is one of my favorites in the new Gen just because of all is capabilities! Could go Daruma, but i don't think it'd be as good for a main sweep in this game.. this setup is mainly for attack and a maxed flare blitz will take down many a foe!
Hitmontop @
Ev Spread: 252 Hp, 252 Def, 4 sPd
Nature:Impish
Ability:intimidate
1. rapid spin 2. fore sight
3.close combat 4.Stone edge/ rest
Chose hitmontop as a balanced fighter. helps get rid of stealth rock, spikes, etc. and has a good STAB with close combat. Can't really decide between stone edge or rest. i realised that there was a really big hole in defenses for fighting. Cloyster (being water ice) and Gliscor (being flying ground) so i chose a pokemon that i've seen do some damage. i like his setup for moves, so i'd think it'd be good to baton pass in and use rapid spin. i may give it fling with the item that makes unusual move land on the holder (i.e. rapid spin landing on a ghost type)
Snorlax @ Leftovers/ Shellbell
Ev Spread: 252 Hp, 252 Def, 4 sPd
Nature:impish
Ability: Thick fat
1.rest 2.sleep talk
3.whirlwind 4.body slam
.Oooh! picking a sixth was hard for me. until i realised i didn't have a physical wall. plus snorlax has always been one of my favorite pokemon. I chose a RestTalk Snorlax because i thought it would be a good way to make my opponent switch out really quick. plus with body slam they won't risk paralyzing their pokemon so they'll switch really quick. hopefully they won't switch to a pokemon than knows rapid spin. but i guess thats what body slam and Whirlwind are for!
Please comment and give good criticism, this is my first team build so please be very honest! Thanks! Plus if this classifies for a ladder please tell me because i have no clue how the ladders work!!
