First Team on Smogon...

First team I've posted...meh. It's pretty good though, wins about 75% of the time, which is really all you can do. Anyway, this team has a lot of Life Orbs, and every Pokemon on it has Quick Attack...of some shape or fashion. It's great for preying on some pokemon, and it's hard for anything to really sweep my team. No stealth rock, though. Intentionally. Move annoys me.

Also, in general, if one of my guys almost kills something, the next guy can come in and take him out with his priority move.

Also, the team is entirely physical, and every single one has an adamant nature.

Gallade @ Life Orb
Adamant Nature
Ability: Steadfast
EV's: 6 HP, 252 Atk, 252 Spe
Moveset: Hypnosis, Swords Dance, Close Combat, Shadow Sneak

Fun Fun set. Kinda like SD Lucario with Hypnosis. Basic plan, Hypnosis them, Swords Dance, and take out 1 to 2 pokemon with Close Combat and Shadow Sneak. Wrecks havoc against Bronzong, Azelf, and Ninjask leads. Bronzong just gets hypnosis'd before it can do anything, Azelf just gets to set up rocks and can't even explode to kill him because of shadow sneak, and Ninjask...lol. First turn swords dance, they sub up. Now, they have a sub up, so the most common move is swords dance. You break the sub, even through quad resistance. Then Shadow Sneak kills them.

Mamoswine @ Choice Band
Adamant Nature
Ability: Snow Cloak
EV's: 252 HP, 252 Atk, 6 Def
Moveset: Earthquake, Ice Shard, Giga Impact, Stone Edge

591 attack. 424 HP. Ice Shard to take out random Dragons. And, you know. He beats on things.

dpmfa376.png

Metagross @ Life Orb
Adamant Nature
Ability: Clear Body
EV's: 128 HP, 252 Atk, 124 Def
Moveset: Bullet Punch, Earthquake, Meteor Mash, Explosion

The cleaner. Metagross is the prime choice to come in on a weak pokemon and sweep it under the table with Bullet Punch. Also something of a physical wall. Nothing fancy about him.

dpmfa297.png

Hariyama @ Leftovers
Adamant Nature
Ability: Thick Fat
EV's: 252 HP, 252 Atk, 6 SpD
Moveset: Bullet Punch, Belly Drum, Close Combat, Earthquake

No joke, this is the scariest. pokemon. EVER. Nothing puts the fear into someone quite like Belly Drum + Bullet Punch. This guy can put some SERIOUS hurting into people, and is just a guilty pleasure to play with. Thick Fat is fairly rare on Hariyama, but it gives him another 2 types that he can switch on easily. Earthquake and Close Combat are mostly filler (lol), but do more then their share of damage.

dpmfa184.png

Azumarill @ Choice Band
Adament Nature
Ability: Huge Power
EV's: 252 HP, 252 Atk, 6 SpD
Moveset: Aqua Jet, Superpower, Waterfall, Return

Cures what ails you. Azumarill breaks through walls. It's what he does. Bronzong, Skarmory, Hippowdon, Gliscor and Forretress all fall from a couple Waterfalls. Aqua Jet is great for helping out Metagross at clean up weak pokemon. Superpower is ftlulz...and hey. he might need to kill an Umbreon or something. Return is filler.

Scizor @ Life Orb
Adamant Nature
Ability: Technician
EV's: 128 HP, 252 Atk, 120 Def
Moveset: Aerial Ace, Quick Attack, Swords Dance, Iron Head

Quick attack sweeper. Drop him down against something that he can take a few hits from, or something that needs to set up, and Swords Dance up. After 2 Swords Dances he will OHKO most pokemon, ones with more HP will go down in 2. Aerial Ace does a surprising amount of damage, and with Technician it's a 90 power with no chance of missing. Just be sure not to leave him for last.

...

So yeah, that's the team. You'd think that a team like this would have problems with a physical wall, but most of my guys have so much attack that they just plow through them in 2-3 hits. After that, it's open season. The team laughs at special walls, choice scarfs, dragon dance, and reversal. It's also good at screwing up Baton Passers, especially Ninjask.

It's all about the unexpected.

Besides, Scizor's Quick attack doesn't do that much less then Lucario's Extreme Speed, more importantly Scizor can take a hit and still be able to KO 2-3 pokemon even with Life Orb recoil.

You're right, I should probably use Lucario. He's just a smidge better. But I like Scizor's surprise factor.

Anyone else?

Hmmm, let's see how I can do

I like this set, nothing wrong with it IMO

Mamoswine @ Choice Band
Adamant Nature
Ability: Snow Cloak

Moveset: Earthquake, Ice Shard, Giga Impact, Stone Edge

591 attack. 424 HP. Ice Shard to take out random Dragons. And, you know. He beats on things.

EEP EEEP, Giga Impact sucks, take it off. Replace it with something like Ice Fang or Blizzard.

Metagross @ Life Orb
Adamant Nature
Ability: Clear Body
EV's: 128 HP, 252 Atk, 124 Def
Moveset: Bullet Punch, Earthquake, Meteor Mash, Explosion

The cleaner. Metagross is the prime choice to come in on a weak pokemon and sweep it under the table with Bullet Punch. Also something of a physical wall. Nothing fancy about him.

Still a good set

dpmfa297.png

Hariyama @ Leftovers

Hmm I don't really like the idea of Belly Drum on this team, as it has no walls and needs as much HP as this team can get, but whatever floats your boat I guess.

dpmfa184.png

Azumarill @ Choice Band

Ability: Huge Power
EV's: 252 HP, 252 Atk, 6 SpD

HUGE POWAH! I've always wanted to use one of these but never found the correct time :/
Change the moveset to: Waterfall, Double-Edge, Focus Pwnch, and Aqua Jet.

Scizor @ Life Orb
Adamant Nature
Ability: Technician
EV's: 128 HP, 252 Atk, 120 Def

Yeah, ok set, but consider Starmie over this for bulkyness and Special Sweeping potential, you never know

SpecsStar @ Specs
Ability: Natural Cure
EV's: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spe
Moveset: Surf / Ice Beam / TBolt / Psychic

IMO

EDIT:
I also agree with the above, SD Luke > SD Scizor

There's my two cents

Okay, no more Giga Impact...lol

And actually, Hariyama walls some Pokemon really well thanks to Thick Fat...

As for Scizor...gah. He's been really good for me, though. I mean, I GUESS I could swap him for Lucario...it just seems boring too me. I GUESS I'll do it, though I'll miss Scizor...

Adding in SpecsStar would make the team better, but would throw off the strategy of everything having Quick Attack...
