Hi all, made a few teams before but this is the only one that seems viable-ish (hopefully)

Decided I liked Sand Rush Excadrill because he's pretty cool, and is a mole (moles are cool)

Excadrill @ Life Orb
Ability: Sand Rush
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Iron Head
- Rock Slide
- Substitute

Smooth Rock Hippo seemed like a good sand setter due to: bulk, typing, move coverage, and as a stealth rock user

Hippowdon @ Smooth Rock
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Slack Off
- Stealth Rock

Lando-T causes a lot of problems, and i like Chice Scarf latios, so he seemed swell for the part

Latios (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Psyshock
- Draco Meteor
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Energy Ball

Ferrothorn can give issues, so Mega Manetric (one of my fav megas) fit the part, as well as giving potential for momentum

Manectric @ Manectite
Ability: Lightning Rod
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Flamethrower

Chesto Resto Rotom-W is a nice partner for Hippo as well as being a status absorber

Rotom-Wash @ Chesto Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Rest
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Will-O-Wisp

BD Azu seemed to fit the last slot as a back up sweeper, and the priority can be helpful to finish off whatever drill can't kill

Azumarill @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 244 HP / 252 Atk / 12 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Belly Drum
- Aqua Jet
- Superpower
- Play Rough

Let me know what ya'll think, I'm hovering around 1300 with this team, maxing at 1386 one time. Any help is appreciated :D

Well from first glance of skimming through your team i see that your team is very serperior weak, a common serperior move set is; LO Leaf Storm/Dragon pulse/Hidden Power Fire/than taunt, substitute, or giga drain. this move set runs through your team and can easily sweep or break down your team once your check to it, Mega manectric and latios are worn down. you have no switch in's to serperior meaning you are forced to make a risky prediction, or sac a pokemon to serperior to get one of your checks in, to help you securely wall serperior, i recommend u replace azumarill with heatran. heatran can wall serperior handily and can force it to switch and also gets a spd boost from sand, and also walls another pair of pokes that can run house through your team, the lati twins; these 2 can successfully 2 hit KO your whole team with LO and with heatran, you can wall both of them and again, force a switch. but if you do go with heatran i suggest you switch out rotom-w for physical defensive slowbro, or replace your mega manectric with mega venusaur. why i suggest this is that an opposing excadrill can also rek havoc through your team, with the sand rush, sand force, or mold breaker ability, exacrill can zoom through your team once hippowdon is either taken down, or put into OHKO range. slowbro can wall excadrill, has reliable recovery, regenerator, and of course scald; unlike rotom-w and can help deal with the lati twins with support t-wave, but is checked by serperior. mega venu can also wall exadrill and has sleep powder, reliable recovery, thick fat, and passive recovery moves in the form of leech seed; it can also wall serperior to oblivion, tho mega venu will give u a bulky mega but will be forced out by the lati twins. both options have their up's and downs but both can heavily help your team.

Hello there! Something I suggest to help your team would be a mon that stops physical set up sweepers. Since you have a physically defensive hippowdon, I suggest replacing stone edge with Whirlwind so that way you can deal with dragon dancers and other physical set up sweepers, especially Mega Charizard X.

I hate to correct you again but only rock types get a SpD boost in the sand.

Hi Thanks for taking time to read my team and leave these suggestions! :) I have added in heatran (but i dont think he does get a spdef boost in sand) and put in phys def slowbro. Thanks very much for your help!

I find Stone Edge very useful, so would replaces Stealth Rocks with whirwind be good, and putting sr on the new heatran i've added in?

Cool Team wackym0nkey! There are a few minor changes you could make

530.png
For Excadrill you should run Rapid Spin > Substitute This way you have some hazard control and nothing gets hurt on a switch.

latios.png
For Lati you said Lando-T Causes alot of problems and you dont have ice beam (smh) so i suggest Ice Beam > Energy Ball. This also helps with bulkier mons such as gliscor and tankchomp.

450.gif
Last but not least I think you should go Whirlwind > Stone Edge on Hippodown.

Hope these few changes helped and gl with your team n_n
I love having Substitute as if you can predict a switch you can make up for exca's terrible bulk by taking a hit, so he can 2HKO some bulkier mons.
Added ice beam, makes a lot of sense ahah.
and i have put on whirlwind

Thanks very much for taking time to read and comment :D

Hi,

I'm going to have to lock this for the time being. According to the RMT Resource thread, you need three lines of description per pokemon. If you PM me updated descriptions for this RMT, I'll be happy to unlock this thread at that time. Check the RMT Showcase for examples of well made RMTs.

Have a nice day.
