This is the team I have put together and so far it absolutely sucks. I haven't played a pokemon in a very long time and know nothing about how to team build so I need help from others to figure out what I'm doing wrong.

Wait, on second though, you can't use non-damaging moves while wearing an Assault vest. i would change the item on Grimmsnarl to light clay. Light clay let's your screens last 8 turns.
