Building Process

1) Started with core

2) Decided to build balance with this core, so I added Clefable to start with

3) Needed a defensive stealth rocker, so I decided to give Celebi a try

4) Finished it off by adding two of the hardest hitting physical and special mons around right now, Lando and Lati, with Lati also acting as my hazard removal

Detailed Breakdown
721_volcanion_by_3d_poke_sprites-d8hka6w.gif

Krakatoa (Volcanion) @ Life Orb
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Fire Blast
- Sludge Bomb
- Steam Eruption
- Will-O-Wisp

This thing is a monster. It's ability is great, it's moveset is great and it's typing is insane. I figured the best way to use this thing would be to just go max Spe and max SpA and just hit everything HARD. Best way to do this was to give it a life orb. Fire Blast and Steam Eruption are two base 110 power stab moves and Sludge Bomb hits any fairies. Also added Will-O-Wisp to hit any incoming physical attackers or walls etc. I repeat, Steam Eruption is 110 base power and has a 30% chance to burn.

Flint (Heracross-Mega) @ Heracronite
Ability: Skill Link
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Pin Missile
- Rock Blast
- Close Combat
- Bullet Seed

Next up we have my boi Heracross as my mega. Haven't used this thing in ages and I am ashamed of it. Its a complete beast. Decided to run a max HP, max Spe spread. Max HP allows it to take at least 2 or 3 hits along with it's decent defences. Didn't feel the need to invest in attack because this f*cking thing hits 406 UNINVESTED. 406 ATTACK UNINVESTED. WHAT THE F#CK. Pretty standard set with Close Combat destroying nearly anything that switches in.

036.gif

Fat Cunt (Clefable) @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
- Calm Mind
- Wish
- Protect
- Moonblast

We all now what Clef does. Clefable is the best mon in the game right now and lol @ you if you disagree. The Wish, Protect, Calm Mind, Unaware set is my favourite without a doubt. Once you get to +2 or +3 then it's game over basically.

251.gif

Daisy (Celebi) @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 156 Def / 84 SpD / 16 Spe
Bold Nature
- Thunder Wave
- Recover
- Giga Drain/U-turn
- Stealth Rock

Decided to use Celebi as my bulky stealth rocker. Don't really know why I just really like it. Gotta have dat T Wave to spread dat yellow magic. And Recover and Giga Drain for recovery. Or alternatively run U-turn over Giga Drain to gain some initiative.

645-therian.gif

Baz (Landorus-Therian) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 160 HP / 96 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- U-turn
- Knock Off
- Stone Edge

Lando-T up next and we all know what this thing does by now. Decided to change it up a bit and use a nice fresh Assault Vest set. Pretty standard apart from that tho. Lot of HP investment so it can eat up a few hits and max Spe to outspeed them pesky Excadrills and Bisharps.

381.gif

Shenron (Latios) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Defog
- Roost

And finally we have Yung Latios. You know how it is. Max SpA and Spe with a Life Orb to destroy everything. Defog for some of dat hazard removal and Roost for recovery if needed.

And that's that. Started using this team yesterday on a clean account and I'm currently at 1447 and climbing. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Hey BabyfartMcGeezaks, M-Heracross + Volcanion seems like a scary offensive core. A few of your sets could use some improvement however, and your team is also pretty vulnerable to certain threats in the tier. My rate will fix that and try to give your team a bit more synergy.

To start things off, there's quite a few issues I see with your M-Heracross set. Bullet Seed and Max HP investment only really have a niche on Trick Room teams and are otherwise not good options for M-Heracross to run. Running no Attack investment or a boosting move also makes M-Heracross much less devastating of a wallbreaker than what it could be. Just because it has a high attack stat without investment doesn't mean you don't need to run Attack EVs on it, especially since it's role it to break balance / stall, not be a tank. With that being said, you should run a spread of 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe on M-Heracross as well as run Swords Dance > Bullet Seed. This allows M-Heracross to be able to break stuff such as defensive Garchomp, Skarmory, Landorus-T, Hippowdon, Gliscor, etc. that aim to check it by taking its already high attack stat to ridiculous levels, making it ridiculously hard to switch into even on a resisted hit.

Next, since Volcanion is your main Scizor check, you should run a set with more longevity. If we could be honest, nine times out of ten you'll just be going for Steam Eruption, so running Will-O-Wisp is pointless. Life Orb also just cuts down on your health, which is bad since Volcanion has decent bulk and defensive typing, but no real recovery outside of Rest and switching into water moves. With that being said you should run Choice Specs > Life Orb on Volcanion. You should also run Hidden Power Grass > Will-O-Wisp to hit stuff like Gastrodon, Seismitoed, Slowbro, etc. that resist your dual STAB.

Your team is extremely weak to Charizard-X since you choice to run Assault Vest Landorus-T instead of physically defensive. To be frank, Assault Vest isn't a good item on Landorus-T since its defensive typing doesn't grant it any resistances that allow it to sponge common specially oriented moves at all. Common tyings for special coverage moves in the tier are Water, Electric, Fire, Dragon, Fairy, Ice, Fighting, and Psychic. Landorus-T only resists Fighting and Electric moves from that list, but usually Electric types carry Hidden Power Ice for BoltBeam coverage. It's also outclassed by Hippowdon as a mixed wall since Hippo has access to recovery in Slack Off, plus it has better defensive typing which allows it to switch into electric types much more safely. With that being said, you should run physically defensive Landorus-T > Assault Vest Landorus-T. This also helps with M-Pinsir and Swords Dance Talonflame which destroy your team very easily, mainly due to your lack of a Flying resist.

Since your team doesn't have a Flying resist as I said before, you're very vulnerable to Tornadus-T, which nothing on your team can really switch into, especially if it's Life Orb. For a Flying resist, that can still check Azumarill while also improving your matchup against M-Gyarados, you should run Rotom-W > Celebi. Landorus-T can act as your new Stealth Rock setter in place of Celebi, and Rotom-W can form a VoltTurn core with Landorus-T to get in Volcanion and M-Heracross to break through teams.

Lastly, since your team seems offensively inclined, having an Unaware Clefable is pretty random, especially considering your team has means of checking pretty much everything Clefable tries to. So, for a more offensive option that provides Pursuit support for M-Heracross and Volcanion, still check the Latis, Serperior, Calm Mind Clefable, and M-Altaria, you should run Assault Vest Metagross > Unaware Clefable. This also provides you with a safe switch-in to M-Gardevoir which previously harassed your team since you had nothing that could stomach two hits from it or outspeed it and OHKO it.
