First time OU Rain RMT

Firstly My apologies for not having any sprites in my post or, I'm not great with computers but just love Pokemon. Any advice would be great. If i have done anything wrong with this post I apologise it's my first time.


So after doing a bit of research I looked into making a rain team. After looking at other teams I am a little bit worried that My team isn't original but hopefully it's ok.

Politoad
Leftovers/Drizzle/Bold
EV's 252 Hp/ 252 Def / 4 Spe

Encore/Scald/Toxic/IceBeam

My main use for Politoad has been to use drizzle to keep the rain up. As well as using icebeam on Garchomp and Dragonite. I'm not sure about using encore though, have been thinking about changing it to perish song but not sure. Scald is my STAB move.

Brelom
Life Orb/Technician/Adamant
EV's 4 Hp/ 252 Atk / 252 Spe

Spore/Bullet seed/ Swords Dance/ Mach Punch

Normally with Brelom I start with spore to allow a Swords dance. then either bullet seed (STAB) or mach punch. I've found it good to check ferrothorn and good against other rain team.

Tentacruel
Black Sludge/Rain Dish/Timid
EV's 252 HP/ 240 Def/ 16 Spe

Substitute /Scald / Toxic / Rapid Spin

I use Tentacruel as my rapid spinner and as a stall. with black sludge and rain dish along with substitute I allow it the best chance before going crazy with toxic and Scald.

Jolteon
Choice Specs/Volt absorb/Timid
EV's 252 SpA/ 4 SpD / 252 Spe

Thunderbolt/Volt Switch/Shadow Ball/Hidden Power Ice

Jolteon fits in well with covering types with the use of shabow ball. Since electric types do well against my team Volt absorb comes in quite handy. volt switch also helps with scouting. Shadow ball helps against the ghost and psychic types.

Toxicroak
Black Sludge/Dry Skin/ Adamant
EV's 4 HP/ 252 Att / 252 Spe

Cross Chop/ Drain Punch/ Swords dance / Ice Punch

I normally try and change into a water attack and then follow it up with swords dance before trying to run through my opponents. I think I'm wasting a moveslot with drain punch. thinking about sucker punch but not sure.

Tornadus
Life Orb/regenerator / Timid
EV's 4 Att/ 252 SpA/ 252 Spe

Hurricane/U-turn/taunt/Focus Blast

Hurricane in rain need I say anymore. I don't think that I use taunt and U-turn to their potential. I usually just spam hurricane and use u-turn against anyone with electric attacks into jolteon.

I've had difficulties so far with dragonite and Garchomp when they both use outrage they seem to run riot through my team.

Once again any advice would be awesome, and thanks for taking the time to read my post.

Hi

Have some actual words in your post beyond your six Pokemon and their moves. Not following this makes your post quite boring to read and rate. All Pokemon should have a good reason for being in your team anyway, so why not post that reason? If you are having trouble with this one, start by giving an explanation for each team member. Why are they there? What role do they serve? How do you get them in? Then, give an explanation of how you would open with the team and how you would go about using it. All of these things help people rate your team and allow us to offer more helpful advice.

This does not mean add one sentence saying "Standard x" or "all-around awesome" after each Pokemon. If you put thought into making the team, you can put thought into posting it. The standard description length required is three to four lines, if you need more insight look on the detail part, check out the RMT Archive.

Your thread is breaking that rule. You need at the very least 3 lines. PM me with your updated descriptions and I'll unlock this thread.
