Infernape, The Anti-Lead

Infernape @ Focus Sash
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 252 Spd / 128 Atk / 128 SAtk
Hasty Nature
- Fake Out
- Stealth Rock
- Overheat
- Close Combat

I absolutely love Infernape as a lead Pokemon. Even though there is a set for it on Smogon for BW OU, I have never seen anyone else use one--in both BW and XY/Pokebank. For most cases, it is pretty safe to send Infernape out first--just Fake Out, set up rocks (unless there's a spinner), then go to town with Overheat and Close Combat. I also rarely find Infernape going out in two turns--typically I can end a game with Infernape intact, if I correctly switch out at the right times.

Greninja, The Wallbreaker

Greninja @ Life Orb
Ability: Protean
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Modest Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Grass Knot
- Hidden Power [Fire]

I have never before this team used Greninja, but now I see no going back. Greninja is immensely powerful with all of it's moves--it can break through a Multiscale Dragonite with a single Ice Beam. It is that powerful. Pretty much if the opponent lets me get a safe switch in, something is going to die. The only problems I have ever had with Greninja are that it is frail, and only gets a 2HKO on Azumarill with Grass Knot. I know I shouldn't really be complaining about only getting a 2HKO, but it does bother me because Azumarill is a pain. Also, Hidden Power Fire is a godsend--it absolutely wrecks things like Genesect, Scizor, Forretress, etc.

Genesect, The Revenge Killer

Genesect @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Download
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Naive Nature
- Iron Head
- U-turn
- Ice Beam
- Thunderbolt

I am glad that Genesect is back in OU where it belongs for XY. There really isn't much explaining to this set--it just sort of works. I prefer the Special Choice Scarf set for this team, as I lack special attacks besides Greninja and Infernape--both of which already have fire-type attacks, and I'd much prefer the Electric coverage that Thunderbolt provides.

Landorus-T, The Offensive Pivot

Landorus-Therian (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 Spd
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- U-turn

Overall, I really like Landorus-T. It works as a great switch-in to fighting types, along with pretty much any other physically offensive 'mon. Starting here is where the problems in this team come along, and why I am posting this RMT--I really wish Lando had more bulk, as I switch him in way too often for him to not have reliable recovery. He is the only form of physical bulk that I have, and Intimidate is not useful enough to justify relying on him as much as I do.

Umbreon, The Special Wall

Umbreon @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SDef
Calm Nature
IVs: NaN Atk
- Wish
- Protect
- Yawn
- Heal Bell

Umbreon is by far the best Special Wall I've ever used, and I am very satisfied with what he brings to this team. Occasionally I wish he had less common weaknesses, but there's not a whole lot to do about that. I've had a lot of trouble deciding the third move--I've rotated a lot between Toxic and Foul Play, but both of them have their extreme downsides. I switch in Umbreon in on a lot of Steel-types such as Genesect and the like, in which case it absolutely sucks to have Toxic. However, I never really find a good time to use Foul Play--like ever. Usually The opponent's offensive pressure is too high for me to use Foul Play. I'm using Yawn at the moment just to see how well it works at phazing.

Mega-Lucario, The Mega Late Game Sweeper

Lucario @ Lucarionite
Ability: Justified
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Bullet Punch
- Ice Punch
- Swords Dance

Bam! Mega-Lucario is dangerous. I typically try to save him for the end of the match, when I'm sure the threats that could cost me losing Lucario are gone. Things like Conkelldur (sp?), Aegislash, and anything with a strong Earthquake really poop on Luc. I really want to try a mixed Mega-Lucario, but I can't seem to find a good balance, and I don't want half of my team to be mixed (Infernape, Genesect, and Lucario). Maybe even a defensive Bulk Up set? Please tell me what you think about that.
________________________________________________________________________________________
Major Concerns:
  • Lacks major Physical Bulk.
  • Lack of Defog or Rapid Spin, so Spikes and Toxic Spikes get really annoying, really fast.
  • Mega-Lucario can occasionally be...underwhelming. He's great at what he does, but I don't want a one trick pony.
  • I can't tell if these are nitpicks or legitimate concerns anymore, so please tell me if I'm worried over nothing.
Please tell me if you have any tips or changes for my team! :]

as you said you need some physical bulk because if you face a life orb talonflame that manage to setup a swords dance it can do serious damage as only umbreon (that however has 18,8% chance to be OHKOed) and landorus t (that is always 2HKOed) can avoid the OHKO. but this is not the greatest threat to your team, it has another name: azumarill. you'd better prevent it from using belly drum because after that the only one that avoids OHKO from aqua jet is umbreon that however is 2HKOed by aqua jet and OHKOed by play rough; even greninja can resist one aqua jet but only when it is water type and it cannot OHKO back. so maybe a venusaur would be good to counter it
