First "Try Hard" OU Team (4th Gen)

Alright so this here is my first OU team that I've actually put thought into. I normally play UU (though I suck at it), but I thought I'd give this a try. Feel free to let the CONSTRUCTIVE criticism flow. No outright rude comments please.

Aerodactyl (M) @ Focus Sash
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Stealth Rock
- Taunt
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
Ok so this here is my lead. I picked Aerodactyl due to him being one of the
fastest leads with taunt, to prevent other leads from setting up, and
stealth rock, to set up myself. After that it can just wittle down the
opponents team with SEdge and EQ until it dies.

Blissey (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spd
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Wish
- Softboiled
- Toxic
- Ice Beam
I know Blissey is "over used" (mind the pun on the tier), but its over used
because it works. It's a gret special wall. I can use Wish to help out my
other pokemon. Softboiled is Blissey's best bet on healing itself when it
needs it. Toxic is self-explanitory. I picked Ice Beam just because of type
coverage.

Electivire (M) @ Expert Belt
Trait: Motor Drive
EVs: 255 Atk / 255 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- ThunderPunch
- Ice Punch
- Cross Chop
- Earthquake
Electivre is my Physical Sweeper. His niche in my team is really to switch
into an electric attack aimed at Togekiss or Aerodactyl, and then sweep
with the oh-so convienient Motor Drive boost.

Forretress (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 112 Atk / 144 Def
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Toxic Spikes
- Rapid Spin
- Gyro Ball
- Explosion
Forrestress acts as my Physical Wall and Rapid Spin support. Due to his
lack of speed, he can dish out some pretty good damage with Gyro Ball to
quick sweepers like Gengar and others. And when the going gets tough,
he can get going with Explosion.

Togekiss (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 36 SAtk / 220 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Nasty Plot
- Air Slash
- Aura Sphere
- Roost
Togekiss acts as a somewhat bulky special sweeper. It abuses the high HP
in order to get off a Nasty Plot or two, and then it sweeps with Air Slash
and uses Roost when its HP gets low. It also packs an Aura Sphere for
when Tyrannitars try to wipe it out with Stone Edge.

Infernape (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Blaze
EVs: 64 Atk / 252 SAtk / 192 Spd
Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Flamethrower
- Close Combat
- Grass Knot
- Hidden Power [Ice]
MixApe is here more as a filler (If you have any other suggestions for the
6th slot let me know). This MixApe is leaning on the Special side and with
that it gets better type coverage.

I honestly like it. Youre Aerodactyl is standard, and usually works.

Honestly Blissey shouldnt have both wish and softboiled in my eyes. It needs to be either full support to the team with wish or self support with softboiled so it has room to use another move for either purpose. Personally I use Heal Bell/Wish/(Status move here)/(attking move) to totally help my team. but you know, whatever works.

Electivire is nice, just maybe if it gets a better fighting move, because cross chop only hits 80% of the time but meh... Im personally accuracy>power

Forretress is alright but it's purpose isn't really to deal damage, although I know gyro ball can hurt. Maybe replace Gyro ball with spikes for the triple threat?

Togekiss is fine. Gonna sweep with that.

Infernape: I as a person do not really like infernape. I don't really know any suggestions except I know lucario is a good mixed sweeper (at the very least when scarfed or E-speed) although Im not sure how effective your infernape is.

Overall: Very epic. Maybe a little fine-tuning, but really an epic team. Better than mine probably.

You run a suicide lead in Aerodactyl, two frail mixed sweepers in E-vire and Ape, and then two very defensive mons. Using Forry and Bliss means you need to have a very strong defensive core since alot of stuff like set up on both of them. You really can't just slap a Bliss on (to a team) because you need to defend it against stuff like Lucario, Infernape, Machamp, ect that will gladly setup and KO your team against.

Anyways I would go the offensive route for now, replace Forry and E-vire. Since Aero will stop SR, a spinner isn't necessary. Having a choice scarfer is better for defending an offensive team. I would replace Forry with a choice scarf Jirachi. It will check Lucario, Scizor, Gyarados, Gengar, Shaymin, and Dragonite, and it can flinch stuff to death late game. It can also trick to prevent setups from calm minders.

Togekiss is an excellent sweeper, but it is walled and countered by Rotom and Zapdos. E-vire is still walled by them, motor boost or not. Evire also contributes little to the team otherwise. It can't switch in on stuff, and it can't wall break or reliably sweep like Infernape. You also badly need a fighting resist. Replace E-vire with Rotom. Rotom can check the things Jirachi can't, like Metagross, and it will also provide a more reliable offense to your team. I'll list the sets below.

You should keep blissey because you are weak to fire and electric attacks and with Rotom and Jirachi you should be somewhat better defended. You are still weak to Infernape though, so you can try a Mixnite over your own Infernape. It's a better wallbreaker and it also is alot bulkier. The last thing I would consider is running t-wave on togekiss over aura sphere. After a plot, you can still 2HKO most things that resist air slash and the paralysis lets Jirachi flinch the other team to death and nite faster too. Just a possibility.

Changes:
- Scarf Jirachi > Forry
- Rotom > E-vire
- Mixnite > Infernape
- T-wave on togekiss (possibility)

Sets:

Jirachi @ Choice Scarf
Jolly, 252 Atk / 252 Spe
- Iron Head
- Fire Punch
- Ice Punch
- Trick

Rotom @ Life Orb / Leftovers (you can run defensive Evs with leftovers)
Timid, 52 Hp / 252 SpA / 216 Spe
- Thunderbolt
- Hydro Pump
- Substitute
- Pain Split

Dragonite @ Life Orb
Rash, 56 Atk / 252 SpA / 200 Spe
- Draco Meteor
- Flamethrower
- Superpower
- Roost / Extremespeed
