First Try

Ok I've been playing around with teams for a while, but I finally arrived at one that I don't think sucks.

Skarmory @ Leftovers

Ability: Keen Eye
252 HP/4 DEF/ 252 SDEF: Impish Nature (-SPA, +DEF)
-Stealth Rock
-Spikes
-Whirlwind
-Roost

This is pretty much a standard lead. Just set up all the hazards that it can. Whirlwind for passive damage and Roost as needed.

Scizor @ Life Orb

Ability: Technician
252 ATK/4 HP/252 SPE: Adamant Nature (-SPA, +ATK)
-Swords Dance
-Bullet Punch
-Brick Break
-Roost

This is my sweeper and, quite frankly, my favorite sweeper. I just switch him in on a resisted move or a resisted Pokemon and Swords Dance away. Bullet Punch is the standard for Scizors and Brick Break hits all those Pokemon who resist Bullet Punch. Roost is to keep his reign of terror going

Gliscor @ Leftovers

Ability: Sand Veil
252 HP/40 DEF/216 SPEED: Jolly Nature (-SPA, + SPE)
-Taunt
-Earthquake
-U-Turn
-Roost

Gliscor is good at taking the hits that would dominate my Skarmory, Breloom, Scizor, or Jirachi. He can also break some of the annoying walls or phazers that could stop my team. The Jolly is so he can Taunt and outspeed threats to my team, or just stop them in general.

Starmie @ Leftovers

Ability: Natural Cure
136 HP / 156 Def / 216 Spe: Timid Nature (-ATK, +SPE)
-Rapid Spin
-Thunderbolt
-Surf
-Recover

This is the Rapid Spinner of my team. He comes in and Rapid Spins all the entry hazards away so my team can continue working. He can also counter the Waters used against Gliscor, or he can counter the fires that dominate Scizor, Breloom, Jirachi, and Skarmory. Gyarados is also a troublesome Pokemon for my team, and Starmie handles it quite well.

Breloom @ Toxic Orb

Ability: Poison Heal
252 ATK/4 HP/252 SPE: Jolly Nature (-SPA, +SPE)
-Focus Punch
-Spore
-Substitute
-Seed Bomb

To begin with, it may seem silly to run Jolly on a Breloom, but it's necessary to get Spore and Sub up easily. Once he Spores the opponent he's pretty much done. This is the standard Breloom SubPuncher set. It eliminates those water types that annoy Gliscor, and the darks that can remove my Rapid Spin Starmie support.

Jirachi @ Choice Scarf

Ability: Serene Grace
4 HP/252 ATK/252 SPE: Docile Nature (No effect)
-Ice Punch
-Fire Punch
-Iron Head
-Trick

The only reason for Docile is that it was the only Legitimate Jirachi I could get with a nature remotely favorable for this set. He provides the key dragon type resistance and coverage. The scarf allows him to outspeed those that could actually end him quickly. Fire Punch gives me the firepower (haha pun) I need and Iron head is the STAB with the flinch I can abuse because of Choice Scarf. Trick is just to stop annoying walls that are just ticking me off.

I hope this team is good enough lol. The only problem is the lack of a spin blocker to protect the hard work of Skarmory, but Skarmory works well as a wall too so I think it works out. Also, me and my friends have this thing where we can't have the same Pokemon as one another. They took all the ghosts (except Froslass, but she is bad anyway) and Rotom-H doesn't work in Wi-Fi.

In my opinion you should lead with Gliscor. He works really well by taunting with his good speed in comparison with other leads and uturning to something else to finish off leads.

This would also help against suicide leads, which taunt to screw you over. With Gliscor you only need uturn to break the opponent's sash.

I never thought of it that way, but I'm liking it.

OK

Looks like a pretty decent team but I see flaws here and there.

First off, your skarmory will be completely shut down by Aerodactyl or Azelf by taunt and will easily set up on you rather than you setting up on them. If anything, give it Brave Bird Drill Peck or steel wing over one of your entry hazards so you're not useless. I personally do not like skarmory at lead since he usually is abused due to his low speed. My suggestion is a Machamp AntiLead since he would do much more for your team.

Scizor I would personally replace brick break with bug bite or U-turn because I dont see what it really accomplishes.

Starmie I use Ice Beam over recover but eh thats your starmie

Run a jolly Jirachi this lowers your special attack (which you dont use) and raises your speed which would be much more helpful than a neutral nature.

Your team is also RIDICULOUSLY fire weak! Specially based Infernape can RAPE your entire team although starmie will beat it by speed and surf, but if it has a focus sash you is scroood!
(Skarmory, Scizor,Breloon,Jirachi-Fire Blast, Starmie-Grass Knot Gliscor-HP ice)

A electivire paired with a Gyrados will utterly demolish you. Switch on the Tbolt by starmie and you're finished. Look out for that.

My conclusion is you are very dependant on two pokes and I am unsure if they could last for long with such a large amount of the team to protect. You need more synergy with the typing and abilities.

What if I drop Breloom for Heatran? He would easily absorb many of the attacks aimed at my guys, and fire is consistently used against the three guys that are left. Gliscor goes in the lead spot now.

Hey nice team for a first go.
I would put Gliscor as the lead and give it stealth rock over u-turn or roost, because you are fucked by taunt which is pretty common. Replace stealth rock on skarmory with brave bird or drill peck if the recoil is an issue. If you changed breloom to heatran, Infernape could still KO with CC on the swithch in.

Also you should probably lengthen your descriptions on all of your pokemon incase a mod comes along and closes your thread.

Good luck
