Kinda bored of OU and such, so why not test out Ubers, eh? This is the first time I have ever played with Ubers, so if my team is kinda crappy for a Uber team, I'm still a novice. Aaannnd on with the show... (Edits in bold).
Dialga @ Expert Belt
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 120 HP / 138 Atk / 252 SAtk
Quiet nature (+SAtk, -Spd)
- Draco Meteor
- Thunder
- Brick Break
- Dragon Claw
So far I really like to lead with this, as it hits a myriad of types and Expert Belt gives it freedom to change around and no recoil from Life Orb. Dragon Claw is a good option to rely on when Draco Meteor has already -2 my Sp. Attack.
Kyogre @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Drizzle
EVs: 6 HP / 180 Atk / 72 Spd / 252 SAtk
Mild nature (+SAtk, -Def)
- Water Spout
- Waterfall
- Ice Beam
- Thunder
Beware: Giant Orca. Kyogre is so awesome at beating the crap out of everything. Waterfall with 180 Attack 2HKOs (Or 3HKOs, not sure) Blissey - Making it think twice of trying to wall me and such. Since I took so many EVs out of Speed for Attack, I gave it Choice Scarf instead. Other moves are self-explanatory.
Giratina @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 244 Def / 14 SDef
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Will-o-wisp
- Dragon Pulse
Standard "Great Wall". Which it totally is. ResTalk is its only form of healing, and it provides status absorbing so it isn't all that bad. Special attacking Giratina is much better than Physical ones because Physical ubers generally have lower Sp. Defenses anyway.
Palkia @ Lustrous Orb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 6 Atk / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
Lonely nature (+Atk, -Def)
- Aqua Tail
- Surf
- Thunder
- Spacial Rend
Shiny Palkia is awesome. It is pretty similar to my Dialga, but usually sweeps in the later-half the game. Buddy buddy with Kyogre because Palkia just loves slaughtering in the rain. Spacial Rend is a bit unreliable because of accuracy, but I have yet to see it not OHKO something...
Scizor (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- X-Scissor
- Pursuit
- Quick Attack
- Brick Break
Whoever thought that this metal-bug could work in Ubers? Likes to revenge kill with X-Scissor and Pursuit. Brick Break messes around with other Steels and Blissey, as well as hitting Tyranitar. Quick Attack finishes weak things off quickly, namely Deoxys-A.
Blissey (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 148 HP / 252 Def / 6 Spd / 104 SAtk
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Ice Beam
- Stealth Rock
- Softboiled
- Sing
Standard Blissey with Stealth Rock instead of Seismic Toss since it sets-up so easily on fleeing Special Attackers. Sing can cripple many dangerous sweepers when it feels like hitting which is always helpful. Awesome how well it does in ubers.
Now rate. I notice I have a x3 Dragon weak, but who should I replace Dialga with (I'm keeping Giratina, and Palkia)? Who should I put into first slot? Too bad to see Dialga go, but it must be done I guess...
This is my first uber team, so lots of advice is welcome. ;]
