This is my first Ubers team, and I've been hovering around 1450-1500 on the ladder with it. While most of my losses I think are usually due to a lack of experience rather than a fault in my team, I'm curious to see how I could improve it. It's honestly a pretty generic Ubers team, but it usually gets the job done.
PRIMAL GROUDON
383.png
Groudon @ Red Orb
Ability: Drought
EVs: 252 HP / 56 Def / 200 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Lava Plume

Groudon is, obviously, an excellent stealth rock lead. Although this initially began as a support set, I found that I really needed the fire coverage in lava plume so I replaced Thunder Wave with that, also because I found Thunder Wave was often counterproductive to Lugia's toxic stalling. Earthquake is just a great attack, and stone edge for coverage. I think it might be useful to invest some attack, and/or to replace stone edge with roar.

ARCEUS NORMAL
493.gif
Arceus @ Life Orb
Ability: Multitype
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Extreme Speed
- Shadow Claw
- Earthquake

Standard Extreme Killer Arceus set, Life Orb is necessary for power, Swords Dance for setting up, Shadow Claw and Earthquake for coverage. Arceus usually makes a solid Lugia check, which seems odd to me but there it is.

LATIAS
380.gif
Latias @ Soul Dew
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 212 HP / 120 SpA / 176 Spe
Timid Nature
- Defog
- Healing Wish
- Psyshock
- Draco Meteor

Standard support Latias, Defog is absolutely necessary to remove Stealth Rock for Lugia and Salamence, or just any other hazards. Healing Wish is great for support, and Psyshock and Draco Meteor are a powerful STAB combination for when I don't need Latias's support moves.

XERNEAS
716.gif
Xerneas @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Fairy Aura
EVs: 32 Def / 252 SpA / 224 Spe
Modest Nature
- Moonblast
- Focus Blast
- Sleep Talk
- Thunder

Choice Scarf Xerneas never fails to surprise other teams, and them expecting me to use Geomancy immediately is always helpful. Xerneas is a necessary check to Darkrai as otherwise, besides MAYBE Arceus, he rips my team to shreds. Moonblast is obvious, and great for Darkrai, and Focus Blast makes good coverage while also KOing Darkrai. Thunder is used less often, coverage especially for Kyogre or Ho-Oh. Even without Darkrai, Xerneas is deadly with simple Moonblast when no one expects it first term, and is a needed check to Yveltel as well.

MEGA SALAMENCE
373.png
Salamence (M) @ Salamencite
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Roost
- Return
- Earthquake

Mega Salamence is just a ridiculously powerful sweeper, and if it gets just one Dragon Dance off it can often sweep entire teams; 2 Dragon Dances is nearly unstoppable. I had used Double Edge for a while, and the additional power is very handy, but it limits Salamence's sweeping as he very often doesn't get a chance to roost off the damage. Earthquake is helpful coverage, although even when super effective it's barely more powerful than Aerilate Return.

LUGIA
249.gif
Lugia @ Leftovers
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Roost
- Whirlwind
- Toxic
- Ice Beam

I often find Lugia to be the most valuable member of my team. Besides providing vital checking to Xerneas, it's also capable of walling nearly anything that isn't Steel or lacks Taunt. Whirlwind is necessary to stop set up sweepers or just phaze, Toxic + Roost for ridiculous stalling, and Ice Beam as the coverage move as it deals great damage to Rayquaza and Salamence that might otherwise wallbreak Lugia.

Groudon @ Red Orb
Ability: Drought
EVs: 252 HP / 56 Def / 200 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Lava Plume

Arceus @ Life Orb
Ability: Multitype
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Extreme Speed
- Shadow Claw
- Earthquake

Latias @ Soul Dew
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 212 HP / 120 SpA / 176 Spe
Timid Nature
- Defog
- Healing Wish
- Psyshock
- Draco Meteor

Salamence (M) @ Salamencite
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Roost
- Return
- Earthquake

Lugia @ Leftovers
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Roost
- Whirlwind
- Toxic
- Ice Beam

Xerneas @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Fairy Aura
EVs: 32 Def / 252 SpA / 224 Spe
Modest Nature
- Moonblast
- Focus Blast
- Sleep Talk
- Thunder

Hello KodakKid3! Welcome to Smogon! Considering it's your first foray into the Ubers tier, your team is quite solid. However, there are a few changes I would make.

First off, I would suggest altering your Primal Groudon set. I would replace Stone Edge with Roar. This will help you to check Geomancy Xerneas even when Stealth Rocks are down. In addition, I would run Precipice Blades over Earthquake. While PBlades' tendency to miss is quite bothersome, it makes up for this by being able to 2HKO standard Geomancy Xerneas while uninvested in attack, which is a nice plus.

In addition, I would replace Earthquake on Mega Salamence with Refresh. This gives your team a much needed status absorber, and it gives you a more solid check to Ho-Oh now that you've removed Stone Edge on Primal Groudon.

As far as Lugia's concerned, I would run the following EV spread: 248 HP 252 Def 8 Speed. This makes sure that you minimize Stealth Rock damage upon switch-in, and since the 4 EVs in SpD don't do anything for you, having extra speed creep is always appreciated. You can even pull some EVs out of Defense in order to speed creep more things (such as other Lugias and Rock Polish Primal Groudon, before they RP, obviously). In addition, pull 4 EVs out of HP on Arceus and Primal Groudon and throw them into Defense and Speed respectively, in order to minimize hazard damage.

Furthermore, you should consider running Stone Edge over Shadow Claw on Arceus. Stone Edge hits Lugia harder, it OHKOs all variants of Ho-Oh, and your team is not weak to Shadow Claw's main targets (both Giratina forms), other than potentially setup variants of Ghostceus. You'll be reliant on a speed tie to beat Ghostceus with your own Arceus as it stands, anyway. In addition, if Lugia's Multiscale is not broken or Primal Groudon is fully healthy, you can phase Ghostceus out. Finally, if Ghostceus is the SD variant, you can surprise it with a Moonblast from Scarfed Xerneas (they most likely won't Extreme Speed you for fear of Geomancy). You can then proceed to sack something you don't need to the incoming Shadow Force, and then promptly remove Ghostceus with another Moonblast from Xern.

Just as a final comment, your team is quite weak to Lugia. Assuming you are set on keeping the team roster as is, you might want to consider running a rogue Toxic on Xerneas over Thunder or Focus Blast in order to surprise opposing Lugias. I'm leaning more towards nixing Thunder, since you don't lose anything in a Xerneas vs. Darkrai matchup by doing so; Sleep Talking a Thunder won't KO Darkrai, so you still have a 2/3 chance of Sleep Talking something that will blow Darkrai to bits regardless of whether or not you pack Toxic over Thunder.

I hope I helped!

These all seem like excellent suggestions, the only one of which I'm slightly worried about being the reversion from Shadow Claw to Stone Edge, as Shadow Claw is helpful against Gengar who hold off mega evolving predicting the Earthquake, is all Arceus personally has against Ghost Arceus (although you noted how to bring it down otherwise), and is just a more reliable attack with 100% accuracy.

However, I've implemented all of the suggestions and will try them all out, thanks!

Hello Koda. This team is essentially standard offense except you're running momentum suckers like Lugia and Latias instead of Deo-S + Darkrai which is an effective way of ensuring a Stealth Rock advantage. You can either just run the standard, or retain Primal Groudon as the Stealth Rock setter while replacing Lugia for Darkrai and Latias for a Pokemon with a bit more utility.

To help cover the problems this team has against stall in addition to other things such as Arc Ghost and maintaining Stealth Rock, drop Lugia and use Darkrai. With Lugia gone you no longer necessarily need anti-hazard support which means you have the freedom to change Latias. If you want to be more secure against EKiller, gain priority utility, and even retain two Ground immunities and the possibility of Defog then I'd run Giratina-O over Latias. You can also just run Latios instead, but I think Gira-O is a better way to go. From here I'd just optimize your Primal Groudon set by only running the bulk you need for Xern and perhaps Ho-Oh while dumping the rest in offenses and getting some Speed creep. As for the moveset I'd run Stealth Rock / Dragon Tail / Stone Edge / Earthquake, where Dragon Tail prevents Mence from setting up on you and pushes out common Defoggers that will try and eliminate your hazards, I suppose even Toxic is an option if you really despise things like Lugia and Arc Water.

Summary:
Run Darkrai over Lugia (4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe / Timid | Dark Void / Nasty Plot / Sludge Bomb / Dark Pulse | Life Orb)
Run Giratina-O over Latias (252 Atk / 244 Def / 12 Spe / Adamant | Defog / Shadow Sneak / Dragon Tail / Shadow Force)
Run a more offensive EV spread on Primal Groudon with at least 216 SpD (0 HP) so it can still check Xerneas
Run Stealth Rock / Dragon Tail / Stone Edge / Earthquake on Primal Groudon
Consider Refresh over Earthquake on Mega Salamence if Ho-Oh is a problem due to use of Scarf Xern
Consider Thunder over Sludge Bomb on Darkrai if Primal Kyogre and/or Ho-Oh are a problem

It's not related to the team or anything, but you can essentially do [ hide=-insert title here- ][ /hide ] without the spaces for the collapsable code things.
