XY UU First UU team! Feat. Bulky(ish) Offence

Greetings! My name is wargreymon (I wish) and this is my second RMT with my first UU team. UU is a tier that I love dearly as it feels a lot less stale and repetitive than OU in my opinion, therefore making it more fun.

This team has served me well enough and seems to be quite strong and reliable provided I play intelligently. It contains various terrifying UU threats and even a rarely used threat who is terrifying in its own right. Lets get to it!

azelf.gif

Azelf @ Focus Sash
Ability: Levitate
EVS: 252 SPE/ 252 ATK/ 4 DEF
Jolly nature

- Stealth Rock
- Taunt
- Knock Off
- Explosion

Azelf is my lead 99% of the time. This is a standard suicide lead. Its job is to set up rocks and boy does it do that well. Focus sash is to survive any one hit, taunt makes for a great anti-lead move, knock off is for utility and explosion is for KO'ing or doing massive damage before it goes down. It also blocks defog and rapid spin which is very nice.
Jolly nature is to capitalize on azelf's fantastic base 115 speed and the rest is dumped into attack to maximize knock off and explosion damage. Lead azelf is very predictable but it doesn't even matter because it's so reliable.

hydreigon.gif

Hydreigon @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVS: 252 SPE/ 252 SPATK /4 HP
Timid nature

- Draco Meteor
- Dark Pulse
- Fire Blast
- Surf

Hydreigon is a beast. That is all.
Seriously though this thing is scary, perhaps one of the scariest pokemon in UU right now. Its power and coverage allow it to decimate tons of pokemon. It's very hard to switch into unless you're name is blissey or florges (the former even has to worry about superpower sets). This set is a little uncommon because you don't tend to see hydreigon run surf but I feel it's important in UU for pokemon like special defence hippowodon, close combat arcanine, nidoking etc. It provides decent coverage and can grab some surprise KO's. All other moves are standard. Draco meteor for nuclear capabilities, dark pulse for a great powerful STAB and fire blast for coverage.
EV spread and nature is standard here, the idea is to max out speed and ensure it's hitting as hard as possible.

doublade.gif

Doublade @ Eviolite
Ability: no guard (fuck this terrible ability)
EVS: 252 ATK/ 240 HP/ 16 SPDEF
Adamant nature

- Swords Dance
- Shadow Claw
- Iron Head
- Shadow Sneak

Doublade is a relatively uncommon sight in UU but you would be foolish to underestimate it. This is the standard swords dance set with shadow claw over sacred sword.
Eviolite along with 9 resistances and 3 immunities means doublade is incredibly bulky on the physical side. Hell even powerful SE physical moves like earthquake have a tough time 2HKO'ing. If doublade is at full HP a scarfed darmanitan can't OHKO, now that's what I call bulk. All of this combined enables doublade to force switches and grab a SD boost quite easily (choiced heracross? LOL). Unfortunaely, doublades attack stat isn't all that impressive and its moves are weak. The strongest hitting move (not factoring STAB) is 80BP. Shadow claw is even worse at 70BP. Regardless, after a boost doublade punches holes.

blastoise-mega.gif

Blastoise @ Blastoisinite
Ability: Mega Launcher
EVS: 252 HP/ 252 SPATK / 4SPDEF
Modest nature

- Rapid Spin
- Water Pulse
- Dark Pulse
- Aura Sphere

This is shaping up to be my favourite mega evolution so far. Mega blastoise is the best spinner in UU thanks to its great bulk. The fact that it has a huge base 135 special attack and a great offensive ability is just a bonus. There isn't really much to say here other than mega blastoise performs its job well and is a fantastic pokemon. Water pulse over hydro pump for accuracy, the confusion aspect is nice but it rarely comes into play. Dark pulse and aura sphere for good coverage and the mega launcher boost. Both of these moves become 120BP after the boost, so you have a 100% accurate focus blast and a 120BP dark pulse that decimates slowbro, fellow spinner starmie and most mew sets.

entei.gif

Entei @ Assault Vest
Ability: Pressure
EVS: 240 SPDEF/ 252 ATK/ 16 SPE
Adamant nature

- Sacred Fire
- Extreme Speed
- Stone Edge
- Flare Blitz

Entei's already decent special bulk is boosted to very high levels with the AV. To give you an example of just how tanky it is, a mega ampharos thunderbult does around 35%. On top of the AV, entei got sacred fire this gen. This move is the reason to use entei and the move I spam 95% of the time. 100BP + STAB coming from a base 115 and a 50% chance to burn. With the AV entei can switch in on most special attacks and strike back with sacred fire. It literally fucks everything up. Even special walls and resists don't like to switch in because of the burn chance.
Extreme speed is for priority because it's surprisingly strong and helps soften up the opposing team before entei goes down, stone edge for coverage and flare blitz because entei doesn't have much else. You'd actually be surprised at how many times the extra damage from flare blitz has come in handy.

EDIT
Ok so this place belonged to heracross but has since been replaced by roserade due to the overwhelming suicune weakness.

roserade.gif

Roserade @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVS: 252 SPE/ 252 SPATK/ 4HP
Timid nature

- Sludge Bomb
- Giga Drain
- Hidden Power Fire
- Spikes

Roserade is here for the suicune weakness but she also brings other strengths to this team. Life orb giga drain and sludge bomb hit pretty damn hard and she has the ability to work as an offensive spiker. I chose spikes over sleep powder because I hate the accuracy so much. Technician is chosen to boost the power of HP fire, essentially meaning roserade can use flamethrower. Everything else is standard, timid for maximum speed and the rest is to maximize her offensive power. So far I am very happy with roserade.

Conclusion

So there it is! This team is a lot of fun and I would love to see how I could improve it. I know it has problems but I'm not great at team building so if there are any other major issues then perhaps someone here is more qualified to spot them. Any help is appreciated as knowledge on what the team is lacking will help me build more solid teams in the future.
Thanks for reading :)
