First of all, this is my first team, and not only am I looking for criticism on my team, I am also trying to learn if I have the right idea on how to post a thread. Anyways, on to the thread!
beedrill[1].gif

Beedrill-Mega @ Beedrillite
Ability: Adaptability
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- U-turn
- Poison Jab
- Protect
- Knock Off

I choose Beedrill because I needed a really fast pokemon that can do some damage. Unfortunately, anything that was super effective can kill it in 1 hit, so I needed it to be @ supreme speed. That leads to
[1] U-turn which is used for when the opposing pokemon is able to use a 1KO move while getting some damage off. [2] Poison Jab was when looking at other teams, I saw that move being used so i took a look and it is good damaging stab move and with Adaptability it does even more damage, so this is for when bug wont work and you wont die in one hit. [3] Protect I didn't really have to put in, but I did just in-case I needed to protect myself from a move that could kill me. [4] Knock off is just to get rid of the item of the other person while doing some fully) super effective damage.

florges[1].gif
Florges (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Flower Veil
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
- Calm Mind
- Moonblast
- Aromatherapy
- Synthesis

I choose Florges Because this pokemon is SUPER Specially Defensive and sometimes can even win a battle without even having to use any other pokemon. [1] Calm Mind is what i try to start off with. I try to get 2x but if it feels too risky i will either go into a attack or heal up. [2] Moon Blast is my Special attack that after a calm mind can be a serious threat to other pokes except types that resist the move. [3] Aromatherapy is for when either A. Florges gets poisoned or B. Another party member gets status affected or C. Both. And [4] Synthesis is for regaining the health that was lost to elongate Florges' Rain of terror

cloyster[1].gif
Cloyster @ Leftovers
Ability: Skill Link
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Icicle Spear
- Shell Smash
- Rock Blast
- Protect

Cloyster is who I send out first. Depending on the type of the other teams, Cloyster can devastate the opponents team leaving little pokemon left before the 2nd pokemon is even sent out on my team. [1] Icicle Spear is a stab good ice type moves that can get rid of dragons and other Florges as it is a physical attack. [2] shell smash is the first move I do. This is when the opponent is usually getting stat boosts or setting up so this boosts me up a lot. With the great attack boost and speed boost, usually you will kill your opponent before they can abuse the defense drop since you are already @ max speed. [3] Rock blast is usually to cover Icicle Spear when A fire type comes in ans tries to destroy you. [4] Protect is just to cover for some move so leftovers can kick in for a little.

porygon2[1].gif
Porygon2 @ Eviolite
Ability: Download
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 SpD
Modest Nature
- Tri Attack
- Ice Beam
- Thunder Wave
- Recover

Porygon-2 is Cloyster's side kick. While Cloyester can't handle other Cloysters or water types, Porygon-2 can tank them and then give them some back ESPECIALLY cloyster, usually ending in a 1ko with tri attack. [1] Tri Attack is a useful stab that is added damage with the Download ability if they have a low Sdef and can lead to a 1ko on Cloysters and 2-3ko on water types. [2] ice beam is for when tri attack doesn't cut it for the damage marker sometimes in dragons and flying type combos. [3] Thunder Wave is for the beedril's for lowering speed and (hopefully) Paralyze hax. [4] Recover is to make sure Porygon2 doesnt die and can last longer.

donphan[1].gif

Donphan @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Rapid Spin
- Stone Edge

I needed a stealth rock setter and someone to get rid of them too. Donphan fits both sections. I usually send him in after Cloyster to get rid of the things set up by others while setting up. For the rest of the time I earthquake everyone and stone edge flying pokemon untill Donphan hits a water type. [1] Stealth Rock is to set up on the opposing pokemon especially the flying types that switch in. [2] Earth Quake is a great stab that can destroy enemies sometimes depending of their type. [3] Rapid Spin is for the pokemon that set up while cloyster was shell smashing to get rid of the spikes/toxic spikes/ stealth rocks. [4] Stone Edge is for the flying types that cant be effected by earthquake, usually ending in a 1ko

feraligatr[1].gif

Feraligatr @ Life Orb
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Waterfall
- Swords Dance
- Aqua Jet
- Crunch

I wanted another really good sweeper on my team, and feraligtr fits that bill. He can destroy people without even setting up! Just sometimes click waterfall then the other pokemon is done for. [1] Waterfall is a GREAT move. Sheer Force+Life Orb+ Good attack stat+ waterfall= good damage. [2] Swords Dance The previous move could kill, but not guaranteed. But with a sword dance, almost everything dies. [3] Aqua Jet is for the moment when the opponent is faster than you, and can damage you really bad or kill you. This with its priority can usually go first killing the opponent before he can damage you at tall. [4] Crunch is for when water cant do jack and you need a different move that can still damage.

That is my team hope you enjoyed!

Hey there,

Team looks good and interesting.. Mega beedril really is a glass cannon but so much fun to use :)

Anyways, I have some suggestions for the team that will either help you out or at least make you consider choices.
  • I'd change the item on cloyster to a focus sash 'cause this will give you a free set up. Or at least consider giving it a white herb.
  • Also, give it ice shard so that you are able to outspeed other pokemon.
  • Dragon dance on gatr will help you outspeed late game and then you could also add ice punch for coverage against grass types.
  • Thunderbolt on porygon, because you need something against suicune and opposing gatrs. Ice type coverage is already present.
  • You also might want to invest in defence for florges because you are running a cm set already.
  • Invest in defence for donphan, because you are running a support set anyways.
Hope I helped you out!

Thank you vedry much! I will test all of these suggestions and btw did i follow the right rules for smogon on posting a forum and also what kind of defence? The pokemons best defense or all defense

Hi pokemonboy19,

Your team currently has a really big problem with Mega Aggron. Only Gatr/Donphan can really stay in on it, but nothing can switch in on it at all. As well, Donphan tends to get worn down throughout a game without a form of recovery and Gatr tends to want a high amount of health so you can SD when appropriate, so catching a stray EQ/getting roared out into hazards is going to be a big pain in the butt.

What I would do in this case is actually change Cloyster. I really am not a fan of the set you have now, and think that you don't necessarily need a setup sweeper like Cloyster which is given trouble by certain very common mons. I would switch Cloyster to an Entei, which can use Sacred Fire spam to weaken the opposing team, letting some of MBeedrill's U-Turns turn from "getting damage" to "getting kills". Cloyster is more of a one-time use mon due to the nature of Shell Smash, which I don't think suits your team very well.

Try the following set:

244.gif

Entei @ Choice Band
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Sacred Fire
- Flare Blitz
- Extreme Speed
- Stone Edge

Thnks! I will try that out too! but what is entei's ability? And do I send him out first like cloyster

I would recommend changing Mega Beedrill to Mega Aerodactyl, as you're only looking for a fast Pokemon that can do damage anyhow, and it helps against the likes of Entei which I can see you struggling against, not to mention I don't think Beedrill fits too well on this team personally.

Aerodactyl @ Aerodactylite
Ability: Unnerve
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stone Edge
- Roost
- Earthquake
- Wing Attack

Earthquake is interchangeable with whatever coverage move you think does best, or even Taunt.

I would recommend changing Donphan for Gligar, since it gives you a physical wall with more solid recovery options, while also keeping hazard control, as well as keeping your Volt Switch immunity.

Gligar @ Eviolite
Ability: Hyper Cutter
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spe
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Roost
- Defog
- Stealth Rock

I'm going to second the Entei suggesting teal6 made above. I'm going to recommend using Wish over Calm Mind on Florges, as you can beat most other bulky setup sweepers with Feraligatr anyway and you're probably better off giving recovery to your teammates.

If you go with the gliscor set get rid off the spikes on cloyster. Run this set

Cloyster @ Focus Sash
Ability: Skill Link
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Shell Smash
- Icicle Spear
- Rock Blast
- Ice Shard

you're fine regarding the rules :) if you want to be sure, check the rules yourself!
