I've decided OU is a bit too standardized for me, so I'm going to try out UU, plus a lot of cool pokemon are unusable in OU, so here's a chance to use them!
Clefable @ Leftovers
252 Hp/252 SpD/4 Spe Calm
Magic Guard
-Thunder Wave
-Seismic Toss
-Wish
-Protect
Thunder Wave is a nice move, especially since my team is relatively slow. I couldn't find a good lead so I decided to go with clefable for the protect. Scout some choice leads, and continue on my way. Gives me some really really nice Wish support, because none of my other pokes can heal. He's also my go-to guy against a special threat.
Nidoking @ Leftovers
252 Hp/252 Atk/4 Spe Adamant
Poison Point
-Focus Punch
-Substitute
-Sucker Punch
-Earthquake
I made up this set after using a moveset calculator for Focus Punch, Substitute, and Sucker Punch, because I love the combo. I think Kangaskhan is a better poke for the job, but he would contribute to the ridiculous fighting weakness (which somehow happens on every team I make). Earthquake is there for Toxicroak, which would be an unfortunate poke to be walled by, considering I'm using Nido as a Toxicroak counter. Though I don't know what other options I would consider.
Walrein @ Leftovers
252 Hp/252 Def/4 Spd Impish
Thick Fat
-Encore
-Toxic
-Avalanche
-Earthquake
Encore is like the coolest move of all time so I wanted that on my team somewhere, and Walrein is a pretty bulky user who can also be a useful Altaria counter. He can also be a counter to physical threats without a rock or fighting attack, whatever those are. Toxic is filler, I really don't know what else to put on.
Glaceon @ Choice Specs
252 Hp/252 SpA/4 Spe Modest
Snow Cloak
-Ice Beam
-Hp Fighting
-Shadow Ball
-Sleep Talk
My pride and joy. Not only does he have more special attack than any other poke in uu, he can take hits like a champ (as long as they aren't fighting, rock, or fire). I did some damage calculations, and both Hypno is 2KO'd by both Ice Beam and Shadow Ball. Grumpig is 2KO'd by Shadow Ball. Clefable is 2KO'd by Ice Beam and Hp Fighting. THERE IS NO SAFE SWITCH, MWAHAHAHAHA. So basically it's a beast and as long as I don't make dumb predictions this thing will be wrecking teams. Sleep Talk makes him my beastly sleep absorber, especially since UU sleepers will have trouble handling this guy. He also is a perfect recipient for Agilities from Scyther.
Scyther @ Life Orb
4 Hp/252 Atk/252 Spe Jolly
Technician
-Aerial Ace
-Brick Break
-Agility
-Baton Pass
I don't really like this guy at all. He's weird with the team. But he 4x resists fighting and passes agilities to Glaceon, Absol, and Nidoking. So he seems like he will be useful. Life Orb is just so he maintains some attacking power.
Absol @ Life Orb
4 Hp/252 Atk/252 Spe Adamant
Super Luck
-Night Slash
-Psycho Cut
-X-Scissor
-Swords Dance
I felt like I needed a late game sweeper so this is the guy. He benefits from agilities passed from scyther as well. But I'm not so sure I need another fighting weakness. But the draw of super luck night slash and psycho cut is fairly irresistible.
All in all I don't know what to expect from uu teams, but it seems like anything fast with stab fighting or rock attacks will just rape my team. Like a mixape, would destroy me. Luckily I don't have to deal with them in uu. Maybe primape or something. I think I should replace Absol and/or Scyther. But I can't think of anything off the top of my hand that can handle both fighting and rock attacks in uu. So any help is appreciated.
