First UU Team

Hello everybody, this is my first Team I made. I am beginner so plz explain me if I do something wrong / did something wrong with the team. The team isnt fixed, its in progress cause I lack knowledge.


Uxie @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/4 SpDef
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd)
- T-Wave
- U Turn
- Stealth Rock
- Trick

Trick Lead. I am not sure about that. Can lay the rocks and cripple one Pokemon with Trick

My physical wall. Great with Wish. Good counter for Registeel or Steelix.

Ability: The Attack Boost
EVs: 252 HP/252 Atk / 4Speed

- Ice Punch / Superpower

My Bulky Sweeper. He is very strong and can also take hits.

So and now I dont know how to go on.

a.) Shoukd I switch Uxie to Ambipom and Use another SR guy. When yes which one. When I take for Example Steelix, isnt my team than too defensive?

b.) Do I need a Rapid Spinner with Uxie Lead, do I need one with Ambi Lead? Which one is good? Donphan or Claydol. Again wiont the Team be too Defensive then?

c.) I am a big fan of Venusaur. Should I add him as Special Attacker here with Sleep Powder, Leech Seed and 2 Attack moves?

d.) Should I add another physical sweeper. I do have a Hitmonlee, an Absol and an Arcanine. Which one could fit.

e.) Which Special Sweeper I should choose? I tried Typhlosion and wasnt impressed. Alakazam is strong but fragile. Ludicolo seems interesting as he covers a lot.

Sry for the uncomplete team, but its hard for a newbie :-)

you might want to lengthen you description of you team, because the moderators will lock you thread as you are using one liners like: "My Bulky Sweeper. He is very strong and can also take hits."

- Force Palm
- Knock Off
- Whirlwind
- Ice Punch

My physical wall. Great with Wish. Good counter for Registeel or Steelix. Force Palm does do a good amount of damage and has a 30% Para chance which is good for my slow Azumarill. Knock Off is just for crippling. Some Pokemon arent as dangerous as they are with Item. Whirlwind for DDs. Ice Punch as Coverage.

f.) What do u think about Rhyperior? He seems very strong but has a lot of weaks. Is he a guy to build a team around?

Well for starters I think you should keep Uxie as the lead since most leads will try to set up first turn and you can force a switch. But, maybe change the Ev's to 252Hp/104Def/152/Spe with an impish nature so you can have more speed to get the trick off before a fast poke can taunt you.

Next, I suggest a Special attacker such as Moltres, Charizard, Mismagius, or Venusuar. What ever poke you choose as your special attacker you should replace Hariyama with a Rapid Spinning Hitmontop if you go with a poke with a Stealth Rock weakness, or add someone like a Pursuit Drapion to handle those frail Ghost and Psychic pokes, which can greatly help your team. Especially if you were to go with Venusaur because he is immune to psychic and can switch in on a psychic attack directed at Venusaur or Hariyama and can pursuit or deal accordingly with that poke.

Lastly, if you aim to keep Stealth Rocks down, you're going to need a ghost. I would suggest either a sub Calm Mind Mismagius or a SubCharge Rotom as they can both dodge a earthquake aim at Drapion, should you choose him for this team, and are slightly bulky enough to stay in for awhile while also causing some damage to the opponent.
