Flygon

[OVERVIEW]
- Flygon is one of the best revenge killer of the dpp metagame.
- Even if flygon isn't really bulky, fire resistence/ground-electric immunity are welcome
- Acces to u-turn which is mean getting fast momentum.
- Fits on a lot of teams.
- 100 BS speed which allow him to tie with Jirachi/Celebi/Shaymin and outspeeding Heatran.

[SET]
name: Choice Scarf
move 1: Earthquake
move 2: Outrage
move 3: U-turn
move 4: Thunder Punch / Stone Edge / Fire Blast
item: Choice Scarf
nature: Adamant/Jolly/Hasty/Lonely
evs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 Def

[SET COMMENTS]
- Earthquake is an amazing STAB who can hit for super effectively damage most of threats like Jirachi/Heatran/Tyranitar.
- Outrage is good dragon STAB but which will you lock yourself on it for 2-3 turns and confuse you,its used after all steel type from opponent team are gone.
- U-turn is amazing move who can be used to break sash, gaining momentum, scoot and hitting hard thing like Celebi.
- ThunderPunch is used to revenge kill Gyarados at full health.
- Stone Edge allow you to hit Crobat,Gyarados and Zapdos all in one.
- Fire Blast used to hit Skarmory/Forretress/Scizor which are your main checks/counters.

[ADDITIONAL COMMENTS]
- Jolly nature allow you to outspeed Tyranitar after 2 dragon dance and timid Empoleon after an agility.
- When you are using fire blast i recommend to use an - def nature because you will need spedef to check things like Heatran more easily.
- Shaymin / Celebi / Kingdra / Suicune / SuperRachi / Breloom are all great mates since they can remove most of Flygon switch-in (mainly Swampert/Hippowdon)

[SET]
name: Choice Band
move 1: Earthquake
move 2: Outrage
move 3: U-Turn
move 4: Stone Edge/Fire punch/Dragon Claw
item: Choice Band
nature: Adamant/Jolly
evs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 Def

[SET COMMENTS]
- Choice Band allow to flygon to become a threat for everyteam.Flygon has many opportunities to switch in with its unique resistances to Rock and Fire, and immunities to Electric- and Ground-type attacks.
- All Choice Band users require prediction to use effectively, but this applies to Flygon more than most other Pokemon due to its risky STAB moves which can give free turn for your opponent to setup their Dragonite/Gyarados for exemple.
- Outrage is a really good STAB since you can easily 2HKO most of common switch-in(Swampert/SpeDef Hippowdon)
- Its really great as lead since you can KO Metagross/Shuca heatran t1 and using Dragon Claw to KO Dragonite without locking yourself into outrage.

[SET]
name: Mixed LO
move 1: Draco Meteor
move 2: Fire Blast
move 3: Earthquake
move 4: Roost/Outrage
item: Life Orb
nature: Mild
evs: 80 Atk / 252 SpA / 176 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
- Mixed LO set work as great lure for usual checks/counters.
- 176 Spe are used to outspeed Timid Heatran/Adamant Lucario.
- Positive nature + Max SpA allow you to have a powerfull Draco Meteor who can be used against your usual checks like Swampert/Skarmory/Physically Hippowdon.
- Fire Blast is used to beat Skarmory (SpeDef or not)/Forretress/Scizor/Bronzong.
- Earthquake is pretty good for an neutral coverage.
- Roost with a non - SpeDef nature allow you to check with ease Heatran.
- Outrage can be used over roost if you don't want recovery.

[ADDITIONAL COMMENTS]
- Best partner for this set are Lucario/Tyranitar who take advantage of Swampert/Skarmory/Gliscor being lured in and defeated.
- EH support is really good to don't being walled by SpeDef hippowdon/suicune.
- Another spread can be used its : 216 Spe / 252 SpA / 40 Atk which allow you to outspeed max speed Gliscor.

[SET]
name: Mixed E-Belt lure
move 1: Draco Meteor
move 2: Fire Blast
move 3: Earthquake
move 4: U-Turn
item: Expert Belt
nature: Mild
evs: 80 Atk / 252 SpA / 176 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
- Mixed set with the e-belt,not used to lure Swampert/Hippowdon but more used to lure a 'choice variant' because Expert Belt has no recoil when you attack.
- U-Turn allow you to scoot and luring the choice set.
- Fire Blast to beat Skarmory/Forretress/Scizor and Bronzong.
- Draco Meteor to hit a Dragonite who want to switch into a choice-locked Flygon in Earthquake.
- 176 Spe are used to outspeed Timid Heatran/Adamant Lucario.

For checks and counters I'd make two lists, one for counters and one for checks as they are kind of cluttered. Toxic on Scarf Flygon is not a very good idea, not only do you lock yourself into a status move that takes a few turns to build up, but Scarf Flygon thrives on picking weakened Pokemon with Earthquake every now and then, mainly U-turning to rack up damage accumulated via entry hazards / lure Skarmory for Magnezone and finish the game with Outrage or assist another lategame sweeper. If your goal is to weaken Swampert / Hippowdon, why not have a Breloom or something like Shaymin / Celebi / Kingdra / Suicune / SuperRachi to some extent to kind of deal with them. I guess if you feel it is really significant, you can add it to the additional comments but not to the main set. Forretress is low on usage and Skarmory are Sp.Def these days so Fire Blast isnt doing much, I'd make the last slot

Thunder Punch / Stone Edge / Fire Blast

Order isn't super important however revenge killing Gyarados is pretty crucial considering it is one of the best set up Pokemon in DPP history even with Bold Starmie everywhere. I would never make Flygon have a -Def nature, especially if using Fire Blast.

Choice Band set should have Outrage slashed alone and another slot with Dragon Claw slash with something else. Outrage is the bread and butter of this set and its ability to nuke Sp.Def Hippo is great.

Outrage
Earthquake
U-turn
Dragon Claw / Fire Punch / Stone Edge (Not saying this should be the order but these three moves should be there)

Nice analysis

I guess you can elaborate on the checks and counters properly when you write this.

I'd just add that special kingdra in the teammates for Flygon since physical is weak.

Also we need an other options section for Flygon

You can maybe add Toxic here and some other random stuff that might work in a small amount of scenarios. Once that is done...

Each set needs teammates that can work with that set and why, perhaps it doesnt need to be added now in the skeleton but in the main analysis it would need to.

I guess one more approval for the skeleton and then you can start writing this up.

I'm assuming two QC approvals before you write this then another two once you write it out fully?
