Nature: Hasty (+15% Speed, +19% Accuracy, -1 Def)
Type: Rock / Flying

Reduced damage from all special attacks by two (2) Base Attack Power during Sandstorm, immune to Sandstorm damage. Ignores Arena restrictions on Rock attacks requiring an external rock source.
Flying: Flying STAB; immunity to Ground attacks and the Arena Trap Ability except under the effects of Smack Down and Gravity, even for Ground-based flying Pokemon. Will always hit foes with Dig (Except other Flying-types) and Dive. Cannot be hit by Dive unless the attacking Pokemon has a size class greater than four (4). Sigilyph (Sylph) (F)
Type:
Psychic:
Can lift and throw opponents with Psychic regardless of Special Attack Rank. Psychic-type attacks are not godlike and cannot be used as a catchall for Disabling, Binding, and redirecting opposing attacks.
Flying: Immunity to Ground attacks and the Arena Trap Ability except under the effects of Smack Down and Gravity, even for ground-based flying Pokemon. Will always hit foes with Dig (except other Flying types) and Dive. Cannot be hit by Dive unless the attacking Pokemon has a size class greater than four (4). Unaffected by Spikes or Toxic Spikes. when switching in. Able to hit Pokemon in the evasive stage of Bounce, Fly or Sky Drop with single target moves that hit Pokemon on the field regardless of position.

Abilities:
Wonder Skin
: The Pokemon's skin has an agent that heavily resists attempts to change its composition. It changes the accuracy of all non-damaging attacks to 50% before applying any other modifiers.
Magic Guard: This Pokemon is infused with a powerful psycho-electric energy that makes it immune to damage from Spikes, Stealth Rock, Hail, Sandstorm, Leech Seed, Poisoning, Burn, and Partial Trapping moves. It can still attack itself in confusion, and will still take damage from it. Additionally, the energy protects the Pokemon from its own reckless recoil attacks. Toxic still increases in damage each round, although if Magic Guard is in effect the Pokemon will not suffer any damage. Life Orb recoil is negated.
Tinted Lens (H): When this Pokemon uses an attack that is normally not very effective, that attack is calculated at the next highest resistance modifier. (e.g. 4x resistance is calculated at 2x, 2x resistance becomes neutral).

"Wow, some pretty formidable flying types! Let's start speaking about P2X7's team.

This guy who has been trainning flying mons for a while now brought a very good team vs other flyers. Half of the team has SE STAB against Flying type, with Bahamut being the only Electric neutral mon Rain has and Tomohawk being the only one not hit SE by rock moves (with Charizard even being double weak).

Speaking of Tomohawk, who THE HELL brings one to flying quals? You know, bringing something weak to a type EVERYTHING will have STAB on seems... dubiuos, to say the least. I mean, Tomos are annoying, but chances are this will fall too fast to make a difference. That is, if it is sent out inb4 phazing move. Now, looking at the good things from Rain's team, he brought a quite neutral team vs Flying, maybe thinking he doesn't need SE STAB or that he can win neutral matchups. The problem is, he'll need to get those neutral matchups. Which will be hard considering half of P2X7's team have good matchups... Well, at least he brought a maxed Dragonite, which IS something scary. He just has to hope it is scary enough to win him quals. He also names his mons after FF stuff so I approve."

Well, enough talk. Let's flip the Snorlax!"

"Ok, I'll be honest here: I completely forgot this was a thing.

The fight starts with Cerdic setting up the ever present Stealth Rock, before being blasted twice by Bahamut's powerful elemental attacks. The attacks are incredibly potent, dealing an incredible amount of damage. Cerdic even uses some of his life force to set up a decoy looking to escape at least one of the dragon's attacks.

And he does, as the final powerful jet of water Bahamut shoots misses its mark copletely! Cerdic then lets out an intimidating Roar, forcing Bahamut back to its Poké Ball. The one that comes back is no other than Valefor, Rain's own Aerodactyl, seemingly accepting the challenge of the opposing Pokémon of the same species.

All in all, Rain has managed to considerably weaken one of P2X7's most powerful mons, and he also gets second order advantage next round.
P2X7, in exchange, has set up Stealth Rock: a powerful strategy considering almost everything is weak to that here. However, he does have to keep them up in order for it to work, and since this IS flying qualifiers, there are a lof of Defog users here. Mister Valefor here is carries it, for example. He also has a substitute up, so that can work to his advatage, too. Unless he decides to switch, which would actually not be surprising."

"Might edit flavor in later. My only doubt is: why Power Herb on Aero when almost everything is weak to your Rock STAB, and the one thing that is neutral resists Sky Attack?

I guess 30% flinch chance is cool, but eh, I just dunno.

Rain gets rid of Stealth Rock, but takes A TON of damage in the process and now has to order first vs Cerdic while Taunted. Unless he switches out of course. At least he has Tailwind to be insanely fast, has managed to conserve Bahamut's Multiscale and is against a very tired Aerodactyl."

Endure - Ice Fang - Ice Fang
IF Dragonite is in the evasive stage of Fly when you would target it with an attack, use Smack Down that action instead.
IF Dragonite uses Dive when you would target it with an attack, AND it moves before you do, use Pursuit that action instead.
IF Dragonite successfully uses Agility (Evasive) when you would target it with an attack, use Rock Slide that action instead.

"In a quick round (which totally deserved me to take this long to ref), P2X7 doesn't notice that Bahamut has Whirlpool, which procedes to take down Cerdic before it can do anything. Rainman is now ordering first, but Bahamut still has Multiscale and a healthy amount of EN. Can P2 play damage control before this goes out of hand?"

Rainman also ruined my incredibly awesome flavor where I scolded him by editing Whirlpool in when he had ordered Wrap first grumble grumble.
